Oatsfield Cottage is a beautifully restored house, situated in the heritage town of Kenmare. It is located around the corner from the town square, the award winning restaurants and stylish shops. Nearby, visitors can tour the Ring of Kerry, Ring of Beara and Killarney National Park and lakes.

Downstairs is an open plan living-room/kitchen with a flat-screen satellite tv and an en-suite double bedroom.
Upstairs is the master bedroom, one double room, one twin room, a family bathroom and a utility room equipped with a washing machine and a dryer. The house is fitted with an air ventilation system and wifi throughout the house. There is also a large patio garden to the rear of the building, perfect for relaxing on a sunny day.

Das Haus und die Lage sind sehr gut: direkt im Ortskern, trotzdem ruhig. Alles war sauber, die Küche gut ausgestattet und die Vermieterin freundlich, zuvorkommend und gut erreichbar. Alles so, wie man es sich wünscht.

If I could give this 6 stars I would! Unbeatable location, steps away from the heart of Kenmare, yet tucked away on a quiet street. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, showers had great water pressure. Mag and her sister Mary were lovely to work with. We would absolutely rent here again!

Location, Location, Location!

Not only was the location a block off of the main strip of several pubs, shopping, and eateries; but it also was extremely quiet being that close to town. The accessibility of hikes/walks, as well as two peninsulas made for incredible scenery with a variety of terrain, waterfalls, ocean views, and so much to do. This location is a short drive to Killarney too! This home met all of our needs, and Maggie was wonderful in her response and presentation with fresh eggs upon arrival!

Three generations of our family of 8 felt very much at home at Oatsfield Cottage. Margaret was the consummate hostess, warmly welcoming us to her property with fresh from the hen eggs and enough provisions to make breakfast the morning following our arrival. The kitchen was very well appointed, and the entire cottage was exceptionally cleanly. We loved being close to everything in the quaint town of Kenmare and were easily able to walk to pubs, restaurants, shopping and coffee shops. The location was perfect for exploring the counties of Cork and Kerry. We all thoroughly enjoyed our Irish home away from home!

Great place in Kenmare for whole family

We had a great time at Mag's place in Kenmare. It was perfect for us travelling from Canada for a wedding at Dromquinna. The cottage is well equipped and the laundry facilities were appreciated. We loved everything about Kenmare.

The house was perfect for our group.

We needed a home with four bedrooms, one on the ground floor. It also had to be within easy walking distance to town. This home could not have been more perfect for our needs. Nothing fancy but fully equipped and ready to move in. Margaret was charming and helpful. Location, location, location !

Come in and feel good

Great location: quiet, but just around the corner is the lively center. Bright large living room with modern open kitchen. We felt good. Small drawback: an oil heater is on the terrace and therefore there was always an oil smell.

Excellent house, great location

Very pleased with all aspects of our stay. House very well equipped, plenty of crockery and cutlery and everything looked new or very well maintained. Two full loo and shower rooms, all very modern and clean, and a laundry room so we could do a wash and tumble dry. Interiors and decor stylish and fresh. Nice area to sit outside to the rear. Located about 2 minutes from the main square and a short stroll from all the restaurants and bars. Despite this, quiet and a short walk from a river, bridge and a stone circle. Small supermarket just round the corner, a much larger one about a minute's drive away. Kenmare is an ideal base to explore the Ring of Kerry and of Beara. Lovely stay.

Beautiful Cottage

We had a wonderful week with friends, and a second week with our adult children. Fabulous location, walking distance to lovely Kenmare shops, pubs, restaurants. Home is beautifully updated & stocked with everything you may need. The homeowner was wonderful to work with & attentive to our needs

Fabelhaften Cottage Cottage, einmalig schön. Total nette Vermieterin

Wunderschönes Cottage im Herzen von Kenmare. Alles sehr sauber und total gemütlich eingerichtet. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts, man fühlt sich sofort zuhause. Die Vermieterin Mag hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns Obst Eier Milch usw. mitgebracht. Der Urlaub dort war einfach perfekt zumal die Lage wirklich fantastisch ist. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Gglg Petra und Familie

Excellent rental in centre of Kenmare

Clean, spacious period terrace house centrally located in Kenmare. Owner very helpful and friendly. On-street parking only which can be a problem but there is free parking about 5 minutes walk away.

Lovely Kenmare

Great location; lovely house; has everything you could want. We had people in our party from 88 - 16: so it was nice to be in the centre of town - so everyone could be a bit independent. Also, in the midst of COVID 19 - have to say restaurants in Kenmare were very good about social distancing. Mixed weather - but we can't balme Mag for that. Great week all round

Perfect home away from home!

This was the best cottage I ever had! Mag was helpful and made us feel welcome all the time . The house was clean, well equipped, and just beautiful. I really hated leaving it!

Stunning property in a great location

The cottage is beautifully furnished and is equipped with everything you could need for a family holiday. Margaret greeted us at the property and provided a welcome pack of milk, bread and fresh eggs from her hens which was welcome after a late flight into Kerry. From initial booking through to checking out Margaret was very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is in a brilliant location for all the local shops, bars and restaurants and tourist attractions are easily located from Kenmare. We will definitely be booking this property again for our next visit.

Einfach perfekt!

Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet. Es ist frisch renoviert und neu eingerichtet. Es liegt mitten in der hübschen Stadt Kenmare und trotzdem in einer sehr ruhigen Straße. Alle Pubs und Läden sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Kenmare ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die wunderschönen Counties Kerry und Cork. Die Vermieterin ist nett und sehr hilfsbereit.

A cosy and well equipped cottage !!!

The owner, Margaret is very friendly and helpful. Throughout our stay she kept in touch to make sure we are ok. The cottage has a cosy homily feeling and has all the essential equipment you need for your stay.The location is perfect, a stone away from shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Extremely convenience! It is big enough for a family of 8. We will definitely stay in Margaret's cottage again when we next visit Ireland. Thank you.
