A little about our ski chalet:

Our large 3500ft open planned concept luxury chalet, has 4 bedroom & den (sleeps 8 very comfortably). All with their own bathrooms. We are located in the newer subdivision of SunPeaks called Lookout Ridge. Where you will enjoy a state of the art gourmet kitchen with high end appliances such as a Wolf Stove, stainless fridge, dishwasher, beer fridge, microwave and wet bar island. Also, included is an outdoor patio covered with Weber BBQ area for your bbq needs. After your dinner, enjoy a nice glass of wine next to the cozy custom built enormous fireplace. The rustic yet modern 10x10 fur timber beams and 24 feet in height cathedral ceiling, makes this chalet one of its kind. To top it off, a large 5 man Hotsprings hot tub overlooks the snow capped mountain vista. This is extra rewarding especially after a day up on the powder filled mountains!

Our chalet is located toward the end of Lookout Ridge Drive cult-de-sack. Where you can ski out to SunPeak’s unbeatable terrain. Simply walk to the end of our driveway, then walk or ski just 1 minute to the end of the cult-de-sack. This will put you into the East Village Ski Way run which will then take you to the Orient-Express chair or Morrissey chair lift.

With over 2000 hours of sunshine a year, Sun Peaks is a true destination you don't want to miss out on!

The hosts are incredibly responsive and accommodating, providing more than enough info for us to enjoy our stay. Everything was as advertised at their chalet. Both the master bedrooms are wonderful with very comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. If you’re looking for a place to share a relaxing ski vacation with another family, this is it!

Another great stay

This was our second year in a row staying here, which probably says enough. Owners are very responsive and helpful. Hot tub is still 5 star!Of note: the kitchen is well set up to do actual cooking and the bbq is legit.

Perfect family ski chalet

Easy access to ski slopes with everything you need. Clean and well appointed house. Good communication with management. We had an amazing holiday and didn’t want to leave.

Beautiful home / Mixed Feelings

The house is gorgeous and in a great location with a stunning mountain view. It’s almost ski-in and ski-out because it’s only a 50-meter walk to an access slope.The kitchen is huge, well-stocked, and really nice.Unfortunately, the house has a few maintenance problems, like a leaking bathroom ceiling and dim light bulbs. Also, the owners have a nice renter who parks in the driveway and lives above the garage. I don’t remember this from the listing, but it was in the owner’s contract.This house is super beautiful and in a great location, but it’s a bit pricey with some minor issues.

Spacious but cozy place for the whole extended family

This chalet was an incredible place for my family to stay and ski out from for 6 days. So beautiful and spacious, with tons of room for the 7 of us, but still felt like a cozy ski spot. The two "masters" - with very comfortable and large beds and luxurious ensuites - were great, as was the large dining room table at which we could all fit for our family meals each morning and evening. The living room was perfect for reading and playing cards - with the warm spring temperatures during our stay we even had the double doors out onto the deck wide open so could enjoy the sun, fresh air, and the amazing view all at once. Sherry was a wonderful, responsive, and helpful host. We highly recommend this lovely chalet if you're looking for luxury and space!

Great family house close to the slopes

We loved staying here! There was plenty of room for hanging out. While not super close to the base area, it was nice to not have to touch a car all week and the kitchen was well stocked. Amazing, clean hot tub.

Sun Peaks yearly ski getaway

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful Chalet in Sun Peaks. Your home was absolutely perfect for our annual ski getaway. Despite the lack of snow this year, we all had a fabulous time. The Chalet had everything we needed and more. Perfectly appointed, white glove clean, extremely comfortable and spacious… what else could you ask for? After long days of skiing, we came home to relax in the jacuzzi, next to the fireplace, with a hot meal cooked in the stocked kitchen and were able to recharge for the next day. One day, the snow actually fell, and the host graciously contacted us to ask if we needed the driveway plowed. Now that is customer service! Check in and check out were easy and streamlined. A beautiful home in a gorgeous area that is essentially ski in and ski out (only about 100 meters from the front door!). Highly recommended. We hope to stay again next year. Thank you!

Fantastic Property

Four adults and four teenagers stayed here for a week and we all had a wonderful time. The house is very well equipped with anything you might need and has a ton of space for the kids and adults to unwind after long days on the slopes. We especially loved the downstairs space for the kids and the heated tile floors. Ski-in and ski-out access at the cul-de-sac was super simple and made for an easy start and end to each day. Just be aware that access to the Orient chair in the morning requires crossing a road, but it was easy to ski across during our stay and we did not remove our skis. We loved this house and would definitely stay here again!

A M A Z I N G !

We headed to Sun Peaks with our family of five, joined by my brother's family of five, so four adults and six kids (aged from 2 to 13)! The house easily accommodated us; it’s a beautiful and tremendously well-equipped property with big bedrooms, a brilliant kitchen with everything (and more!) for dining in, a lovely big lounge room to sit and watch movies in front of the beautiful fire, a Big dining table along with seats around a kitchen bench top, a den/movie room downstairs (for the kids!) & a spacious hot tub for getting over the aches of skiing, admiring the view whilst having a beer/wine! In addition, it’s in a PERFECT location. Such an easy ski-in and ski-out on/off East Village Ski Way, and there is a bus stop outside for the shuttle into town. We would also recommend a hire car. The house owners/hosts Sherry & Michael have also been BRILLIANT to deal with. Nothing is a trouble to them. If we needed something, they went out of their way to help us. For example, Sherry sought out a local babysitter to help look after my two-year-old nephew. She turned out to be AMAZING! Other tips from us; Ohana is a great local deli, and you can pick up great homemade food to heat up at home, and Sun Peaks cargo was fantastic, delivering food and drink to us from Kamloops. We will return to Sun Peaks again and would love to stay here again! We HIGHLY recommend this property for friends or families looking to have a great time & make special memories!

The home was nice, fairly clean, but a little worn. You also need to drive to the slopes as the location is a bit of distance from the lifts. Overall, very spacious, better for large groups.

Beautiful House and Good Location

We spent a full week in the house with 2 families (8 people) and it worked great. The house had an open floor plan for all of us to be together and a table that sat the 8 of us easily. WE had multiple teenagers with us and they had plenty of space for their own time as well. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, including quality appliances. Both ensuite bedrooms worked great for the adults in the group. The location was good with easy ski in and ski out to Orient chair. While you do have to cross the road near the bottom, it is a quick and easy stop to take off skis and cross the road before skiing again. It might have been a little bit of a pain if traveling with young children skiers. Michael and Sherry made everything easy and we hope to be back again soon.

Winter Wonderland!

Well equipped kitchen utensils. Bring your own essentials (cooking oil, flour, sugar, coffee, tea, etc...). Could use more/better kitchen towels, more bath towels. We enjoyed our stay tremendously!

Three generations enjoyed a great family vacation for a second year in a row. The chalet has a great ski-in ski-out location. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking great meals. Thank you to our hosts for making this property available for us as a home base on the mountain.

Home away from home!

Our family reunion of 7 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this well presented property. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped so making family feasts post skiing was a breeze. Central heating, gas fired fireplace as well as underfloor heating make us very cosy. The property was spotless upon our arrival and there were plenty of towels and comfy throw rugs for lazing around. The outdoor spa was enjoyed by all every afternoon/ evening and was serviced daily by contractors. In fact nothing could be improved for our stay here. We skied from the property daily over to Mt Morrisey and when ready skied from there to the main mountain. Alternatively there was an hourly shuttle from 40 metres up the road. I would definitely recommend this accommodation if you are a larger group skiing/ summering at Sun Peaks as it is a quality property.

Beautiful mountain Chalet with great views, good ski in/out, super amenities and accommodations

My family really enjoyed our one week holiday at Sun Peaks and having this Chalet as a home base made it perfect. Our group of 8 adults and 2 kids was very comfortable - good sized bedrooms with ensuites for everyone and great gathering areas in the kitchen, living and dining rooms. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking great meals. The owners responded promptly to all our questions and requests. Rental properties like this are not in great supply in SunPeaks so we were very happy to be here and hope to return again.

Beautiful and Comfortable Sun Peaks home

We were a group of 9 (including 5 children) who shared this home over winter break. The house is large, well maintained, comfortable and well appointed. The check in was easy and check out even easier. The home is situated on a quite hill overlooking one of the ski hills. It's possible (in a better snow year) to hike and ski in/out. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, cooking dinner in the spacious kitchen or using the (clean and full!) gas grill. We had plenty of room to spread out, and no one felt cramped. The wifi was reliable too.

We are a couple who are keen to ski! We also have two young boys who dearly enjoy the white winter wonderlands that Sun Peaks has to offer and are now our ski partners in crime! We built and designed our home with much love in 2006. Since then, we come up to our place as much as possible however, our busy work schedules has prompted us to rent it more often.

We take pride in living life to the fullest by shredding up the slopes, hiking, biking, exploring the nearby lakes paddle boarding and just soaking in every moment of this beautiful area winter and summer.

We built this house with great pride and attention to details. We love Sun Peaks because it is a charming quaint village with a true magical atmosphere. The short lines and mostly sunshine make this place seriously a well kept secret retreat!
