Hello Charles, I want to express my gratitude for choosing to stay with us, and I appreciate the opportunity to host you. I understand your concerns, and I'd like to clarify that, as outlined in the Vrbo breakdown before booking, $400 of the $700 in fees covers Cape Cod Massachusetts state tax and Vrbo charges, none of which gets paid to me. Now, ensuring a thorough and impeccable cleaning for a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house involves costs that exceed what I charge guests, and actually I personally cover the difference. Besides the full house deep cleaning, this cost includes professional dry cleaning of all linens and towels after each use. Cape Cod is a seasonal tourist destination and costs of hired helps are very high. Having said that, ensuring top notch cleanliness and hygiene, without compromise, is essential to me. I hope you recognize my efforts to strike a balance between providing an exceptional experience for guests and managing associated costs. I do appreciate your feedback. I look forward to the opportunity to host you again. Wishing you a great holiday season! - Indranil
