Stay at this newly remodeled Topanga Canyon cabin near Malibu, a private 2-bedroom home that sleeps 6 and offers canyon views, privacy, and modern amenities. Ideal for relaxing stays, remote work, and nature getaways, this home provides a peaceful setting with easy access to hiking trails and the coast.



The primary suite features canyon views, an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, and a walk-in closet. A second bathroom includes a deep soaking tub for relaxation.



The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and ample prep space for easy meals.



The sunroom offers two workstations, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a queen sleeper sofa for additional guests.



Step outside to a fully fenced yard with outdoor dining and BBQ, surrounded by mature trees and canyon views.



A standout feature is the private wellness gym with Peloton, Tempo system, and infrared sauna.



Additional amenities include in-unit laundry, fireplace, and a comfortable layout for extended stays.

You will have access to the entire house.



The Neighborhood:

Located in Fernwood in Topanga Canyon, this hillside neighborhood offers canyon views, ocean breezes, and a peaceful natural setting. Enjoy easy access to hiking trails, local cafés, and dining along the Pacific Coast Highway, with convenient proximity to Malibu and nearby Topanga attractions.



Getting Around:

PARKING:

There are two parking spots available on premise. Street parking is tight as the roads become quite tight in Topanga Canyon. Please be sure to keep all cars parked in designated parking spots in order to avoid tickets, fines, and/or towing of vehicles.



Roads in the canyon are very windy. In the neighborhoods there are blind curves and spots where you must yield to oncoming traffic. Us locals are very used to this, feel free to wave at cars as you meet if you want the local experience.



You can explore the neighborhood and walk the loop (Observation to Grand View to Sischo and back down Observation) or the trails that are walkable from the house, including Kerry Lane (search on google maps) that has an offshoot trail into Topanga State Park with spectacular panoramic canyon views.



However, you will most likely have to get places by driving or biking. Welcome to Canyon Life!

HOUSE RULES:

1. Guests must complete third-party verification process and submit a copy of their identification to match at check-in.

2. No gatherings/events without prior written approval.

3. No pets without prior written approval.

4. Respect the property and the neighbors!

FAMILY & PETS:

We are a family-friendly home and welcome children ages 2 years old and above, who must be included as part of the total guest count.

Please note: this property does not accept pets of any kind.

To ensure the comfort of all guests and to accommodate those with allergies, animals are not permitted on the premises, including service or emotional support animals unless required by law. Any undisclosed pets may result in additional cleaning fees or cancellation of the reservation.

EXTRA GUESTS:

Guest count must not exceed the occupancy of the property. Keep in mind there is an added $100/night (plus booking fees & taxes) per guest for additional guests if approved. Any day guests must be approved prior to arrival. Day guests must leave by 10pm and are limited to a total of 4 guests. Children are considered as part of the total guest count.



VENDORS:

Please note that the home is serviced before and after every arrival and departure. During extended stays, our technicians service the exterior of the property on a regular basis to maintain our home and yard. They will not enter the home but need to access the backyard. Landscaping and gardening service is on an as-needed basis based on weather demands.



PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS!

We are in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Please follow our County’s Good Neighbor Policy of no outside noise after 10pm and before 8am. Guests must refrain from any outdoor music, noise, or other disruptions that may cause a disturbance to the community during quiet hours. Failure to respect quiet hours may result in the cancellation of your reservation without a refund.



RESPECT:

There are strict county ordinances regarding excessive noise and light pollution after 10pm. Please respect our neighbors, and refrain from loud noises and outdoor music by 10pm. The home is equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Removing the decibel monitor will result in a full security deposit loss and/or additional charges. Sink into the sounds of the canyon solitude, peaceful nights, and starry stars...



CHERISH:

Some of the things visitors to Los Angeles cherish the most are the abundance of wildlife and fauna. Cigarette butts, trash and food left on the ground can hurt our precious ecosystem.



CLEANING:

Health & safety is our number one priority. Our in-house cleaning team is trained on CDC and WHO protocols. We take extra measures to ensure the home is sanitized and safe before every arrival. For this reason, we aren’t able to offer early check-ins or late check-outs. Thank you for understanding!



PHOTOSHOOTS & VIDEOS:

If you’re interested in doing a photoshoot or video shoot for commercial/business use, please share the details of your project ahead of time. You MUST get approval beforehand! If approved, we have an additional fee for licensing and usage. Photoshoots for your personal social media accounts are welcomed!



WILDLIFE:

You’re surely guaranteed to encounter wildlife on your stay including families of lizards, insects, snakes, coyotes, and endangered kangaroo mice. Please use caution when outside, especially at night with any pets and children.



FIRE ZONE:

Our home is located in a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone

(VHFHSZ), smoking is not permitted in any exterior of the property.



NO SMOKING:

No smoking or burning candles. This is a non-smoking home. Any and all smoking should be kept outdoors at least 15 feet away from any exterior doors. There will be a $250 charge for anyone not honoring this guideline.



BACKYARD FENCING:

While we do have fencing around the entire property, please always keep an eye on your pets and children. City critters don't find fencing to be a deterrent to them in our shared habitat.



EV CHARGER:

There is not an EV charger at the home, however, there is an EVgo Charger conveniently located at 22277 Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas, CA 91302 which is a short drive away. There are also multiple public EV charging stations around town, which allows charging for up to 2 hours per day.
