This newly updated, pet-friendly cabin (with a $40 fee per pet) spans 1,400 square feet on three private acres, offering the ideal escape for peace, tranquility, and the perfect starting point for your Red River Gorge adventures.

Inside this exquisite space, the basement has been recently upgraded to offer even more entertainment with a hot tub, new couches, Foosball, Air Hockey, and Darts.

We are in Cliffview Resort. This is the most sought-after area to stay in in the Red River Gorge area. We have beautiful lakes, trails, zipline, ATV tours and fabulous roadways to walk and enjoy nature.

1. Please note that renters must be 25 years of age to book this cabin.
2. We are pet-friendly (up to 2 dogs, max weight 35 pounds) and maintain a strict no-smoking policy within our home.

Easter vaca

The property is in a very nice scenic area. It had everything we needed. Zip lines are right there, we didnā€™t realize they were that close. Highly recommend zip lining. Great place for a small family. Lots of games to play. Great hiking area. Excellent directions provided, the tip about google map vs apple map was very helpful.

Beautiful cabin, excellent host

Six of us gathered at this beautiful mountain side retreat for a girls weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the property and its amenities as well as its location to various other activities. The host was highly responsive and attended to our every need. Highly recommend Natureā€™s Sanctuary!

Great place

Our family had a great time!!! The location is great from the quiet comfy setting to how close the all activities were. We had some minor issues on how clean the house was when we arrived but the owner came over quickly and helped fix them. The 3rd bedroom is not actually a bedroom but across from the livingroom. Very comfortable beds. I would recommend this place anytime.

Week end get away

Nice cabin in a quiet, peaceful setting. I booked this cabin because it listed a king size bed and a hot tub, both of which proved to be excellent. The mattress was SO comfortable and the hot tub so relaxing, exactly what we were looking for! I read all the previous reviews (both positive and negative) before I booked this and found no issues with any of the concerns anyone had. Very nice updated appliances in the kitchen as well.

Fourth of July getaway

As soon as we arrive, of course the boys started playing foosball and air hockey. My favorite part were the decks and I actually especially like the way the kitchen was decorated and the open living space. We even went fishing in one of the mini pond in the area and caught some small bass. Of course, we released them back into the pond. And who doesnā€™t like to lay in a very spacious hot tub after hiking the trails in red River Gorge we would definitely come back.

Fall break getaway

We came here to have a quick getaway for our daughter's fall break. We picked this property because it was pet friendly and we wanted to bring our dog. Overall the cabin was as advertised but there was A LOT of dust. I understand it's the woods but the ceiling fans have inches of dust and it really bothered my allergies so we ended up leaving a day early. Additionally we reached out to both hosts one through VRBO and one through text and neither replied. We were trying to confirm where to take the trash because the instructions weren't clear. There were plenty of positives the beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was cozy. The location was nice and we enjoyed bikes and daily walks.

Great getaway spot

It is fairly isolated in comparison to a lot of places out there. So you will have privacy if thats what you are after. There are plenty of sites to see nearby as well as some great food. My only constructive feedback is that some of the directions / descriptions on vrbo didnā€™t match what I was sent via message. I had to explain to everyone that what was posted on the fridge or website was not right. No big deal as the owner was always available to answer any questions. I would go back and I would recommend it to others. Wish we couldā€™ve stayed longer!

Great cabin but jacuzzi tub doesnā€™t work

This cabin was very clean and the host has great communication. Only thing I was upset about was the jacuzzi tub was not working and not specified in the posting. The host did respond when I reached out to ask if it worked and stated there was a leak so it was turned off. There is a hot tub on the deck but of course it snowed this weekend and was around 20 degrees so I didnā€™t get to enjoy the hot tub. My family did enjoy our stay and I would book this cabin again!

Cozy cabin in RRG

Our family had such a great experience at this adorable cabin in the Red River Gorge area. The host, Stacy takes pride in this cabin. She lived in the cabin, herself for years, and you can see the love that went into this cabin. The main bedroom is upstairs with access to one of the porches. The other bedroom is downstairs- our teen liked having her space. There are two beds upstairs- no door, but it was perfect for little ones. We liked being able to keep an eye on them, and still had their own dresser. There is a beautiful wrap around porch with a view of trees and a river. Also, a hot tub with another porch downstairs. The cabin had everything we could possibly need. Everything was clean and functional. Location was perfect- in the country but still had neighbors within walking distance (which we liked for security reasons). We had a bonfire, but be careful of ticks! Short driving distance to several good restaurants and Red River Gorge. Stacy also owns the Cliffview cafe, so we stopped in to say hi, she's very nice! We would definitely recommend this property! We all had such a great time and the kids can't stop raving about it.

Perfect Fall Break Stay

So relaxing! Our teens loved the air hockey and Alexa in the basement. They also loved playing the board games as a family. The manager was great to communicate with and cabin is very peaceful. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. We did the zip lines and the Gorge underground, both very fun! If you want to do both, call or book in person. Youā€™ll save 10% but if you book online that option isnā€™t given. The twin beds are out in the open. That wasnā€™t an issue for us, just something we didnā€™t realize beforehand. Also, trash needs to be taken to the main dumpster in the resort. Again, just something to be aware of. Overall we loved our stay and highly recommend!

Good times, poor customer service on the owners part.

Loved the cabin and location. However, we did not have access to a working fridge. And when I notified the owner of problems with the fridge she did not offer suggestions to fix the problem, instead she suggested that it was warm due to loading groceries for 8 people. Found that to be extremely rude as that was definitely not the case and not the least bit helpful. Be prepared to not have access to a fridge during your stay.

Two bedroom not Three bedroom

The cabin was beautiful and very clean with personal touches throughout. The decks and porchā€™s were awesome and well furnished. This is not a three bedroom cabin by any means. There is a master room on main floor which is gorgeous and another bedroom in the basement. The other ā€œbedroom ā€œ is actually two twin beds in the living room. There was no privacy for the couple that got this ā€œbedroomā€. These twin beds canā€™t be used for children either unless you let your children partake in adult activities and stay up with the adults. I would suggest enclosing the area with twin beds or not describing this as a three bedroom cabin because it is a two bedroom cabin.

Just Ok

Just ok for a quick get away but is in need of some serious upgrades. No privacy at all, can see through curtains in downstairs bedroom as well as the upstairs bedroom. Can only pee in the downstairs bathroom. Tacky paper sign that says you will be charged if toilet clogs is on the wall in the bathroom. The third bedroom is two twin beds in a open room connected to the living room. Pool sticks are all children's size, fooseball table kept breaking (handles coming lose, screws coming out of the little guys.) No scoreboard with dart set. The house has no hot tub but does have a jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bath Fred the security guy is overbearing. I does clearly say in the contract that he is allowed on and in the premises if he feels something sketchy is going on. We had a friends come visit us for the day and he stopped for a 3rd time to see why we had another car in the driveway for the day and he was going to have to report it to the owner. Not all about this cabin is negative. The bar was amazing and the view from the back porch was also awesome. The kitchen was fully stocked with any equipment we needed for every meal. We are not high maintenance people, we just feel like you're supposed to feel at home when renting a cabin for the weekend and we honestly didn't even feel like welcomed guest. With some money put into the property it could be top notch but just enough is done to get by with renting it out.

Everything was to like. Just be prepared for bugs because you are in a wooded area. Should think about changing the title of 3 bedrooms as the "bedroom" with twin beds is part of the front room and does not have a door/wall to separate it. Place was clean and comfortable. Owner has great communication.

Nature's Sanctuary is our favorite family getaway. The second we get on the road to head to the cabin, our whole family relaxes. It is a stress-free getaway, an environment all family's should experience A place where we share our closest moments and family time. We sit around the fire, talk, tell stories, take our dogs for long walks, and hikes. Play games for hours. Read books, listen to music, play Kanjam and Cornhole. The cell phone service is good (Verizon is best ) At night we settle down aroudnd the firepit or in front of the fireplace. Perfect days !!!! Perfect nights!! Days all of us cherish.
Our family has owned and rented cabins in the RRG area for 20 years. We love everything the Gorge has to offer. However, by far our most precious memories come with the family time spent around the firepit, playing outdoor games, reconnecting, making memories and getting away from the chaos, people and traffic.
My late husband and I married in 2001 and found that our love for nature and adventure was destined for our children. Our family has enjoyed many weekend getaways bonding and experiencing everything RRG has to offer. We currently rent/own13 cabins in the Cliffview resort.
