We really enjoyed our stay here. Having the golf cart was awesome to get around in. The community pool was awesome and within walking distance from the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Home Away from Home

The home was clean and decorated very beautifully. Everything we needed was there, including games, and the appliances were pretty new. Everyone was pleased with the golf cart. Our upstairs master bath needed more shower hooks but that is a very minor issue. Also the other upstairs bedroom did not get cool. It was stormy most days so we couldn't really use the nice outdoor area. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Pretty home. It is very spacious and rooms are good sizes. Love the kitchen. The up stairs bedroom with 3 beds was very warm couldnt find an air vent in there. Overall the stay was great and my family was very happy. The golf cart was so helpful, we didn't have to use our car that much. Thanks again.

we had a wonderful stay and vacation. this location and property are fantastic. the managers were helpful. this house is lovely and functional but needs some care, love and refreshing...its a little tired.

Perfect for our getaway!

Very nice place…The place was very clean and the perfect size for my family. This house is exactly as listed. We would definitely stay here again and I recommend this property to anyone. I have one suggestion that the owner provide a laundry basket or change the sliding doors for the washer and dryer. It was hard to transfer the clothes from the washer to dryer.

Great Location

Other than some cleanliness issues, our stay was great. Grass clippings in one of the beds and sand on most floors that we swept out. Golf cart has a wheel bearing noise in the front. Other than these issues they can fix, I would recommend using it again.

The attached bathroom downstairs still shows signs of an old water leak we never seen any water even though we had some severe rains..the other bathroom downstairs still has the water lines backwards.Upstairs bathroom was fine and so was the rest of the building

Not happy with our stay at all.

Toilet on main floor broke called someone Saturday and they said that they would come out in an hour. They never came out or called. Golf cart very slow. House hot . Air locked on 76. Very hot upstairs.

GREAT FAMILY TIME!

THE RENTAL PROPERTY WAS VERY CLEAN,AND THE MASTER BEDROOM BED WAS AMAZING,BEST SLEEP EVER! THE ROOM UPSTAIRS WITH THE DOUBLE BEDS REALLY NEEDS A WINDOW UNIT THE ROOM IS ENTIRELY TO HOT. I LOVED THAT YOU COULD RENT THE GOLF CART IT WAS ALREADY ON THE PROPERTY WHEN WE ARRIVED. EVERY THING IS LOCATED IN THE COMMUNITY, IT WAS GREAT! GROCERY STORE,GOLF,SHOPPING,RESTAURANTS AND A FUN ZONE WITH PLENTY OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS AND LIVE MUSIC FOR THE PARENTS,AND YOU CAN DRIVE THE GOLF CART TO ALL OF THESE LOCATIONS. ALSO THER IS A GREAT APP YOU DOWN LOAD TO YOUR PHONE WHEN YOU RENT THE PROPERTY IT GIVES YOU A MAP OF THE PLACE,THINGS TO DO AROUND THE AREA ,WEATHER,MAINTANCE NUMBER TO CALL IF ANY PROBLEMS,AND ALOT MORE. WE WILL BE BACK HAD A GREAT TIME!!!

Clean, but had several issue.

Place was very clean but we had a few issue. We had few of the Palmetto Bug in kitchen and laundry, three mice out side back yard. Spare bed room up stairs with the twin bed gets to hot to sleep in even if it had a fan and ceiling fan. Spare bed down stairs that's toward the back of house its mattress is very hard, like sleeping on floor. Microwave keep throwing breaker, never could get water or ice from the refrigerator door. Other than that the unit was ok. Wasn't the best we stay at. I had never given bad reviews before but there was too many issue that effect us from having a great vacation.

418 Linkside Drive Sandestin Property

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at the Sandestin Resort every year except for 2020 for over 20 years. This property was a real disappointment. The dryer did not work and there was not an icemaker. Both items the management team were aware of and did not notify us before we arrived. When we brought it to the management team's attention they did come out quickly but they were unable to fix the dryer and told us the icemaker was ordered. One more fun thing is you have to endure a 30 minute lecture on the mechanics of the golf cart. All in all we will not stay in this property again, the rooms are small and the laundry room layout is ridiculous. You cannot move laundry from the washer to the dryer due to the laundry room doors are not appropriate for the space. The location is nice and quiet and the pool area is nice with a good amount of shade/sun ratio.

Not bad….

Overall the property was pretty decent. There was plenty of space for people to spread out. The six person golf cart was nice to have. Now for a few picky observations: The lighting in the kitchen is very minimal. The upstairs smaller bedroom needs its own a/c unit or ducting run to it. It was too warm for anyone to sleep in. There were only two kitchen trash bags. And now the not so picky observations: We fought with cockroaches throughout the stay. It did rain twice towards the end of our stay and I will say that was likely the cars towards the end of the stay however the first three days were nice and we dealt with them from day one. There was a can of roach spray under the sink so we sprayed the perimeter of all the rooms and every day we would continue to find new dead The first night when everyone got ready to go to bed we discovered that the sheets of one of the beds was covered with dog hair. From what we could tell the sheets had been laundered but the dog hair Kong to it and did not come off. It was all over the entire sheet set. We talk to the property manager and then of course apologized and centers clean linen.

Have Travel Memories was very kind and owner accommodated a request. I like to do pros and cons so...Pros: -Affordable option with tons of sleeping space-Updated interior -Super comfy master bed (slept like a baby)-Proximity to beach (closer than a lot of Sandestin properties that are on the north side of 98)-Golf cart use (see below)-Quiet area-Use and convenience of all Sandestin-Kitchen items: blender, pots, pans, etc-Private patio and balconyCons:-Breaker tripped when using microwave for 1 1/2 minutes-Golf cart age (seat belts are rusted and steering linkage/rod rattles) but it got us around with no breakdowns-Maybe not kid friendly unit (I wouldn’t be comfortable with a small child because of railing spacing and lack of rails on stairs)-One room with 3 beds has no A/C vent - we didn’t use that one but it seems like it could get a little warm BUT A/C works VERY good-Bike had tape of seat -Beach items stored outside under shed-like thing. Didn’t try to use simply because I didn’t want to reach into the space 🤪Overall, we did love this stay and they have done a nice job of updating the interior. Just a few things could make it a spectacular Sandestin rental. #1 on my list would be electrical checks and #2 would be a new or newer golf cart. Thank you

Linkside Getaway

This was a wonderful short stay! Staff and property manager were absolutely wonderful! Perfect for any family of all ages. Didn’t drive our car until checkout. Baytown Wharf Village was just a golf cart ride away. We will be back very soon!

Ok, but needs TLC

Overall we had a wonderful time. This is a nicely located property especially for winter traveling. This house needs some TLC, The HVAC needs an upgrade, there are no screens, the fireplace is not functioning the gardens are messy We were snowbirding and staying two months and needed to purchase a few things to be comfortable

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation at the residence at 418 Linkside drive was November 23-29 was relaxing and fun. The facility offered all the amenities needed for all aspects of our stay. it was clean, comfortable, well stocked and beautifully decorated. We only had one problem with one of the televisions and it was taken care of right away with no further problems. Kitchen was well stocked with necessary eating and cooking utensils. There was ample storage in refrigerator and freezer for items to be stored. So nice to have a washer and dryer for laundry. We had easy access to the beach with the rental of a six passenger golf cart. There was trash pick up every day. There was ample comfortable furniture for sitting to watch TV or just relaxing and visiting.. We will definitely rent this place again when we return to the area.

Beautiful Hime

We loved everything, from the house lay out to the decor. The neighborhood was great, the location was good, and the cleanliness of the house outstanding. Four days prior to our trip there we stayed at a VRBO in Cudjoe Key, it was HORRIBLE. Amazing how opposite the two were.

Nice house

Our trip to Sandestin was nice and the house met our needs for the most part. Our 8 year old granddaughter came to visit us and her feet were black after going barefoot in the house. Obviously the floors had not been mopped in a while. The downstairs master bathroom shower floor was extremely slippery. This was a big concern for my 89 year old mother. The only other real problem was the golf cart. I think it has seen better days and should be replaced. It did not have any get up and go. The back seat was cracked and uncomfortable. The lights did not work so we couldn't take it out at night. We tried one night and my husband would have to pull to the side and wiggle the connector to make the lights come back on. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

This condo is very spacious. The master bed was so comfy. The condo has tons of room to spread out both inside and outside. # bathrooms and showers with what seemed to be never ending hot water. The smaller upstairs bedroom is a bit hot, but the kids didnt mind much. Good internet.

Value and location

We had a last minute decision to look for a place at SanDestin and although we did not need the space it was welcome. Previous reviews mentioned inadequate AC however we didn't experience that. It was raining part of the time so maybe that helped. Also read about golf cart being slow and yes the manager mentioned that and it was scheduled for service. It was manageable but some times annoying when you are holding up vehicles and other carts. The headlights and driving lights on the cart quit working after the first night so we had to take our car if we ventured out at night. All in all though it was a nice experience.
