Whether you're here to ski, hike, cheer on App State, visit Tweetsie Railroad with your kids or simply unwind together, Copper’s Den was designed for memory-making in every season. Central Air conditioning will ensure you are comfortable througout.
This 5 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath home sleeping 14 features multiple and versatile sleeping options, thoughfully designed with comfort and connection in mind:

The Main floor deck offers dining for 10+ with outdoor heating lamps for the colder seasons.
The second floor deck features a cozy seating area and tabletop gas fire feature, also with outdoor heating lamps.
The third deck is where the 6 person Hottub is located. The amazing custom fire pit is just steps away from the 3rd deck.
THE KITCHEN AND LIVING AREAS:
The fully stocked modern kitchen opens to a welcoming family room with Smart TV — perfect for gathering during meals and relaxed evenings together.
A second gathering/ living space is located on the middle floor also featuring a Smart TV – Surely your older kids will appreciate this additional space!
HIGHLIGHTS OF EXTRA CONVENIENCES:
- Central Air conditioning for heating and cooling throughout the home (one thermostat per floor so you can choose based on personal preference). - 3 washer & dryer sets (one on each level)
- Tesla charging station!
- Parking for up to 5 vehicles
- Pack ‘n Play available
- Plenty of games, some craft/ coloring supplies and lots of books including children's books
- Pet-friendly (2 dogs up to 60 lbs, fee applies)
- High Speed Internet and a dedicated work space means you can still enjoy the mountains while you take care of business. A large monitor and HDMI connection cable is available for you to use.
ARRIVAL ESSENTIALS
To help you settle in comfortably, we provide a thoughtfully prepared starter supply of household essentials, including:
• Premium bath tissue
• Paper towels
• Trash liners
• Dish sponge & dishwasher pods
• Laundry detergent pods
• Hand soap throughout the home
Everything you need to begin your stay with ease.
The paved road is maintained year-round. The final 100 ft stretch of the road leading up to the house is gravel so extra caution is advised and 4WD highly recommended during snow season.
If you are looking for a home to stay while attending App State seasonal games, hit the ski slopes at App Ski Resort, explore Boone or Blowing Rock and its wonderful restaurants and eclectic shops, are looking for lots of fun kids' stuff to do such as Tweetsie Railroad or simply staying put and relaxing while your kids enjoy endless entertainment...Copper's Den has it all and is the place for you!
Additional important things to note (kindly review before booking your stay, thank you!
- Smoking or vaping is NOT allowed inside the house, on the front patio, any of the back patios, by the fire pit or anywhere else on or near the premises.
- Quiet hours from 10pm-8am.
- No parties onsite or group event allowed, no exceptions!
- Cameras are installed overlooking the front porch and the lowest deck overlooking the backyard/ fire pit.
- Up to two dogs are allowed (additional charge). No other pets allowed.
- Parking for up to 5 cars.
- The road to the home is paved and managed BUT 4-wheel drive is highly recommended during the winter/ snow season. No refunds will be given for inclement weather cancellations.
- Please keep the property and furnishings in good condition, as you found them. In case of loss or damage an appropriate fee will be charged.
- Linens and towels are NOT to be removed from the property; in the event that they are, a $150.00 fee will be charged per item.
- The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premise or its facilities including any of the outdoor decks, hot tub or backyard/ fire pit area. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
- Main guest must be 26 minimum age.
- Hot tub rules are posted by the hot tub, Please review prior to use! It is crucial to follow all listed rules to ensure your safety. If the hot tub has to be drained and deep cleaned/sanitized after your stay due to misuse/ negligent use a $350 fee will be charged. Host/ Homeowner is not responsible for any injuries/ accidents occurring on any of the decks or while using the hot tubs. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises and acknowledge & accept the listed fee of $350 if such cleaning should be necessary.
- There are NO elevators. This property has three levels and stairs need to be climbed to access these. Caution is urged to avoid tripping and injury while climbing stairs. Host is not responsible for any injuries/ accidents.
- Rules for the usage of the outdoor fire pit are posted by the hot tub, Please review prior to use!
- The owner/ host is not responsible for any injuries/ accidents occurring during the use of any of the fire pits & fire features inside or outside around the premises. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
- The property has outdoor spaces, steep terrain and high decks that may not be suitable for children, especially without supervision. Should you have concerns please don't hesitate to contact the host prior to your stay for further information and clarification and to find the best suited accommodation for you and your family.

We are a family who love the beach, the mountains and everything in between. We have fallen in love with the Blowing Rock area and the beauty this region offers at each season of the year. Our kids and us love coming here during the hotter times of the year to breathe in the cooler mountain air, and during the winter when snow is scarce where we live. My husband and I love the fall season and its gorgeous foliage display. So in short, we could live here all year if we only could. :)
We cherish that we can offer other folks the opportunity to discover the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and to enjoy the beauty and serenity that our cabin hopefully brings to you and yours. Bringing together family and friends was the reason we created each space in the home and we truly hope that you will be able to enjoy it as much as we do!
And just in case you have wondered, the name "Copper's Den" was inspired by the name of our most beloved family member....sweet Copper, our Australian Labradoodle and best friend to everyone!
