Welcome to our Humble Haven, where you're sure to feel right at home! This nicely updated Airbnb is a cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom haven designed to provide you with the utmost comfort and convenience during your stay. Centrally located, this home is close to local hospitals and a large park.



The Space:

As you step into our cozy abode, you'll be greeted by the open-concept living space, tastefully furnished for relaxation and socializing. The living room is adorned with plush seating and a smart TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city or for catching up on your favorite shows. You're welcome to download any apps you like, just don't forget to log out before you leave!



The two bedrooms are thoughtfully appointed with cozy beds and ample storage space, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The master bedroom features a king sized bed while the other room has a queen bed. Each room offers clothing storage, bedside tables and lamps. Blinds and drapes cover the windows, ensuring your privacy.



There is one bathroom in this home featuring a convenient tub/shower combo with a large vanity, offering flexibility for everyone's preferences. There is plenty of shampoo and body wash for our guests to use for added convenience. There are also plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths for your stay.



Cook up a storm in our fully stocked kitchen, equipped with new appliances and all the essentials you need to prepare delicious meals. To ensure you start your mornings off right, there is a drip coffee maker, a Keurig, and an espresso machine. Pots, pans, cutlery, plates, and glasses are all included. The adjacent dining area is ideal for sharing meals and creating lasting memories with your fellow travelers.



For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer available in the garage. For vehicle security, there is also room for a standard sized vehicle in the garage.



Our location is a key highlight, especially for those seeking proximity to hospitals or a central base for city exploration. The convenience of being close to medical facilities ensures peace of mind for those in need, while the central location makes it easy to access the city's vibrant attractions, dining, and entertainment options. For those who appreciate outdoor activities or have children accompanying them, a park is just a stone's throw away, providing a tranquil escape for a morning jog or a leisurely stroll.



For the safety and security of our guests and our home, this property has outdoor cameras looking over the driveway, back doors, and garage. There is also a doorbell camera.

You must be in good standing to book with us and have positive rental history and reviews. We do not rent to local Lubbock residents.



Parties are strictly prohibited at this property. Any violation of this rules will result in an immediate $500 fee.



This property is NOT pet friendly so please plan of leaving your furry friends at home. There will not be any exceptions to this policy and a fee of $250 will be automatically applied if you are caught in violation of this. Service animals require proof of registration BEFORE booking.



We supply freshly laundered linens, bedding, and towels for all of our guests. We also supply paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand soap for a short 2-3 day stay. Long-term stays will need to replenish latter items at their own expense. Although often there will be a variety of condiments, such as coffee, etc., we cannot guarantee what will be available.



Early Check-In & Late Check-Out (Subject to Availability) Early check-in and late check-out MAY be available for an additional fee of $20.00 per hour, for up to 2 hours. Early check-in: Payment must be submitted before 12:00 PM on the day of arrival. Late check-out: Payment must be submitted no later than 10:00 PM on the evening before departure.



Guest Access:

All areas of the house are available to guests with the exception of the locked cleaning closet.



The Neighborhood:

Lakeside Retreat is located in the Maxey Park neighborhood which is very convenient to hospitals, restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, banks, and churches. Located close to everything. Main roads Quaker and 19th Street are nearby as well as the Marsha Sharp Freeway and Loop 289. Quick access to everything Lubbock has to offer!



Getting Around:

Lubbock is a large city and has poor public transportation options. It is recommended that you have your own vehicle, although Uber and Lyft are alternative options.



Other Things to Note:

Parties are strictly prohibited and any violation of this rule will result in an immediate $500 fee.



This property is not pet friendly so please plan on making other arrangements for your pets. There will not be any exceptions made to this rule and any violations will be charged an immediate $250 fee. Service animals will be required to show proof of registration BEFORE booking.



Host-Initiated Cancellation Policy While we make every effort to honor all confirmed reservations, there may be rare instances where cancellation is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that we must cancel your reservation, the following terms apply:

Full Refund: Guests will receive a 100% refund of any payments made toward the reservation.

No Additional Liability: Our responsibility is limited strictly to the refund of monies paid. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred by the guest as a result of the cancellation, including but not limited to alternative accommodations, transportation, or other travel-related expenses.

Best Efforts to Assist: In the event of a cancellation, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative accommodations within our property network, if available, but we cannot guarantee availability or rates.

Force Majeure Clause: We reserve the right to cancel the reservation due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to property damage, utility failures, natural disasters, or changes in local regulations that affect short-term rentals.

Sale of Property: In the event the property is sold prior to your scheduled stay and the new owner does not wish to honor existing bookings, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. A full refund of any payments made will be issued, but we are not liable for securing alternative accommodations or covering additional expenses.

Removal from Rental Market: We reserve the right to cancel reservations if the property is permanently or temporarily removed from the short-term rental market for any reason. Should this occur, a full refund will be issued, and no further compensation or liability will be assumed. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and accept these terms.



Check-in information, including the keypad code, will be sent before your check-in date. We reserve the right to decline any alteration request. This property has outdoor cameras looking over the driveway, back doors, and garage. There is also a doorbell camera.



House Rules: - No pets! Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fee. - No house parties. Unauthorized parties will result in an immediate $500 fine plus damages. - No smoking inside the property. - No excessive volume that would disturb the neighbors. - Clean up after yourself. This includes all dishes and food items. - If you break something, message us and let us know immediately.



Interaction with Guests:

Our interaction with guests is very minimal. The front door has a keypad so that you may let yourselves in and out. Please only use the keypad lock to lock the door. Do not lock the bottom lock on the front door. Should you need anything during your stay, please message us and we will be happy to assist.

The house was very clean and welcoming. We came to town to visit our Tech kid. Was able to cook in fully furnished kitchen and even used the grill on the back patio. Outdoor patio is pretty close to neighbors and the concrete border needs repair in near future; did not feel as private as we would hope. However, did give our child a chance to have some home cooked meals while we were in town. Loved being able to park our car in the garage at night. Great location, able to stop in and out at the house throughput our day. Typical older Lubbock neighborhood as far as neighbors. Overall very clean house, served our purpose while visiting our college kid!
