Surfin Safari -

The other is South Walton - home to the same breathtaking beaches but with greater focus on the preservation of nature and with intentionally less development. Miramar Beach is positioned between Destin and South Walton, making it the ideal destination to experience the best of both worlds. While the draw of its neighbors is strong, visitors of Miramar Beach may choose not to leave this oasis. Perfectly situated between the Gulf of Mexico and the Choctawhatchee Bay, fishermen and water sport enthusiasts will have plenty of options to indulge here. Off the water, guests will enjoy shopping at the nation’s largest designer outlet mall - Silver Sands Premium Outlets. In addition to Silver Sands, other premier shopping and entertainment options include Grand Boulevard and Baytowne Wharf. Fresh seafood eateries are scattered throughout Miramar Beach and the famed Scenic Gulf Drive offers several locations with exceptional beachfront dining.

This lovely Miramar Beach rental home was designed with beachside vacations in mind! Upscale furnishings, quartz countertops and cool clean tile throughout give this home a well finished yet comfortable feel! Enjoy a dip in your private pool right out back - where you’ll have plenty of space to work on your tan or throw a pool side BBQ bash! The beach is due south with nor roads to cross (if it takes your more than 2 minutes walking you’re walking to slow!)

Surfin Safari is a two story home with 4 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms.

First Floor: Living Room with Patio Access, Kitchen, Dining, Queen Bedroom with Shared Walk-In Shower, Laundry.

Second Floor: King Master Bedroom with Walk-In Shower and Soaking Tub + Balcony Access, Queen Bedroom, Jack and Jill Bath with Tub/Shower Combo, Bunk Room with Two Full/Twin Bunks.

*add $50.00 per day to heat pool (available Oct-April if needed)

Super convenient! Easy walk to the beach. CVS right across the street. Nearby, walking distance, surf shop. The house was clean and well maintained. Attentive to our needs. No beach chairs or bikes. Washer and dryer! Overall, we had a great time.

In the middle of it all

Lovely home so close to beach and shopping and restaurants. We walked down along the scenic road along the ocean and saw dolphins each morning swimming close to shore. We had the pool heated which was amazing to kick back in the beautiful backyard prior to long walks along the beach. Grocery two minutes from the house as well as the outlets. Would stay again!

Much Needed Vacation

This location and amenities of this home were perfect for our family. The Tiki Bar and outside TV were an added bonus. We really enjoyed our time.

Nice House and Perfect Location

House was nice but could use some additional kitchen supplies. Management company was great to work with and beaches were a short walk up the street. Beaches were very clean!

Beach Vacay Perfection

The property was gorgeous and even better than the pics represented! The house was immaculate and decorated with a perfectly updated beach house feel! Literally feet away from the boardwalk leading to the beach- we’ll be back again!

Great family memories made!

The house was as described and so close to the beach! We spent the mornings at the beach and afternoons by the pool. Within walking distance to the outlet mall, Starbucks and Chick-fil-A.

Spring break ‘22

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Had an awesome tiki bar, heated pool as well as plenty of space for my entire family. It was extremely close to the beach as well as restaurants and shops. Definitely one of the best spring break vacations we’ve had. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone interested in a beach getaway.

Nice location, furniture needs updating

The house is in a great location to the beach & shopping. However, the furnishings looked tired. The couches sagged, the master bedroom bed sagged, and the pool needs a new finish as it is showing stains. The property management is very responsive to needs and was great to work with. The decor was beautiful, just worn out. If they refreshed the furnishings and made it more comfortable, this would be an amazing house.

Overall Happy with our beach stay

Check in and out super easy. The downstairs has been recently beautifully updated. The upstairs could us a little updating, all mattress could be replaced but over all lovely and comfortable house. House was clean but could us a deep cleaning. (lots of dog hair under the couch and in the laundry room) The kitchen is stocked with the bare basics but NO EXTRAS. I found it odd no trash can in the kitchen, small trash can in laundry room. The weather was not great during our stay so we spent most of our trip inside. Lucky I packed cards and board games. Overall we were happy with the property and management.

I paid too much

While the rental was good and nice, I way overpaid. I think for the price, I expected something a bit more grand. The location was an A+. Beach was beautiful. Check in and out was easiest I’ve ever experienced. Slept wonderfully. Master bedroom and bath were fabulous. The backyard was a liberal oasis. So very relaxing. Little lizards and birds galore. My favorite place. No amenities. Take extra toilet paper! No coffee samplers. No salt and pepper. I left mine there for the next guests. Pool lights weren’t working. But that was okay. Really need to have housekeeping move the couches to clean. We had to lift the couch to find a shoe and, oh my. Some mummified dog poop and lots of dirt under there. Now, with all that said, I would stay there again for half the price.

Great Property - some improvement needed

We had a great stay. The backyard space is fantastic (although dimly lit). House is as shown and the kitchen and living room area are spacious and comfortable. The communication with the property manager was below average. I tried to be proactive with the pool being heated upon arrival and it wasn’t. The dishwasher was broken and there was confusion on who and when it would be fixed. A lot of back and forth with staff and they did not seem to communicate very well among one another. Management was at least responsive, but not organized. The beds need replaced. We all had issues with them. The king bed in particular is not fit for use - it’s lumpy and saggy. The one writing the review is usually staying in that bed so should be a no brainer to make sure it’s comfortable. The floors are very dirty in the unit. We all ended up wearing socks because our feet were black. We also had multiple cockroach encounters. It is the south, but still. For the price - I would expect a little cleaner, but overall we were satisfied.

Really great location

I'd love to come back to this house. The location was great, and the pool and tiki bar was fun for kids and adults. The house was very clean when we arrived, not even salt and pepper in the kitchen. Nor was there a one day starter of coffee supplies. There is a mini fridge behind the tiki bar which was super convenient. The side gate to the back yard made it easy to get beach stored without bringing the sand through the house. All you have to do to see what color flag for the beach is walk out the front door. The bedroom on the first floor needs a bedside table for the other side of the bed and curtains, the existing blinds don't keep the light of the street light light out at night. There are also no shower floor mats. The kitchen is moderately stocked. We made do but big cookers will want some necessities from home. We parked 2 cars and 2 golf carts in front of the house. This is a corner lot. We would stay here again. The pull-out couch is not a 7 night sleeper for an adult. A kid could do it. The grocery/liquor store is super close, i walked once and we took the golf cart many times. The beach is less then a block away. And its not a busy car road. You can walk, drive car or cart to many places. Good for groups of mixed ages We had 2 12yr olds, 2 15yr olds, 2 18yr olds who all went and did their thing. Everyone had a great time.

Great Location

Property was very clean. Check In process was extremely simple. So close to groceries and beach stores(walking distance). Outdoor bar was the family hub for the week, awesome backyard!

Relaxing Weekend

We loved our stay at Surfin Safari. The house was so comfortable. The location was great and the backyard/pool area is beautiful. Hated it was so cold, but we still enjoyed it very much!

Thanksgiving getaway

Great house, great location for our family Thanksgiving getaway. Mattresses in the master and queen bed upstairs need to be replaced, they were a bit lumpy. Would definitely rent this house again.
