30 days minimum. This newly remodeled rental is located in Laie on Laie Bay on the famous Hukilau Beach. From the second-story front door landing you have a view of the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. Your view from the bedroom balcony looks out on the Laie Hawaii LDS Temple with the back drop of the brilliant green Koolau Mountain Range. One hundred feet from your door on Hukilau Beach you can swim, surf, snorkel, kayak, and wander out to nearby Goat Island less than a half mile from your doorstep. Nearby are shopping centers, Brigham Young University—Hawaii, the Polynesian Cultural Center, and the historic village of Laie. Inside the seven-hundred square-foot apartment you will have the comfort of a spacious living room, a cozy kitchen with a granite countertop and a dining area, two comfortable bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with two single beds) and a brand new sparkling bathroom. There is new bedding and new floors throughout. There is room for a fifth person to sleep on a futon. A flat screen smart television and wireless internet access are also available for your use. The unit comes with dishes, plates, cups, glasses, and silverware for six. Also, you will find pitchers, a coffee maker, an assortment of pans, a microwave, and burners for cooking and warming up soups and other hot delicacies. In the closets you will find beach towels, bath towels, extra blankets, and extra bedding to add to your comfort and coziness. The owners live on the property and will be happy to welcome you when you arrive and can answer questions about local attractions, restaurants, and other places of interest. Great rental in Laie

We loved our stay. Nice, comfortable, and clean beachfront property. The owners were friendly and helpful. The location is great and close to BYU and the north shore. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing Stay

Great place and wonderful hosts! Apartment was bigger than anticipated and had everything we needed. Robyn and family were kind and helpful. Perfect location. We would definitely stay again.

Great beach value

The apartment on the beach was as advertised. The owners were great to work with. The location on the North Shore is excellent, near shops and grocery and drug stores. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rebook in the future.

Four month stay!

Two friends and I stayed at Ned and Robyn’s for four months, and we truly considered it to be home! We were comfortable, felt safe, and had a better time than we could’ve imagined. The apartment has everything you could need! Ned and Robyn were beyond helpful and provided us with everything we needed, and always answered any questions we had. The location is great and the beach in the backyard is beautiful, probably my favorite on the island. This little house will always have a special place in our hearts. We loved it so much!!!

Great House on a great beach!

For the money it is tuff to find a better deal than this small, clean home. We spent six nights in Laie in this home and enjoyed every minute. Since we were out sight seeing and taking advantage of all the tourist attractions we didn't see the need to spend a lot on a room. This met our needs very well. The time we spent there allowed our kids (and us) to play on the beach which is about 40 yards from our room. Beautiful beach, smaller waves and not crowded at all. Owners live in the same house, adjacent to this apartment, and are very friendly and helpful. Things you'll want to be aware of: Stairs- In order to get to the room you do have an outside flight of stairs to climb. They are well maintained but if you have small children or are older this may be a concern. TV- We didn't use it much, and it works fine, but it's very small for the living room it's in. Sleeps 4 people comfortably but if you have a fifth person they will be sleeping on a futon which is a large foam mat. Our kids rotated but did not like it all. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. Road noise- We were surprised at how noisy the road was in front of the home. If you're a light sleeper this will be an issue. The furniture is older and pretty wore out (different than what is in the pictures) but the owners keep the place clean and maintained. That being said, if we go back to Oahu in the future we would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family. The fact that the owners keep the place so clean make up for some of the minor deficiencies.

We stayed at the Hokilau Hale in Laie, and it was a great experience.  The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.  The beds were spotless and super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep.  Plus, the location was unbeatable - just steps from the beautiful Hokilau Beach.   The only minor downside was that the washer and dryer were only available one day a week and not located in the unit itself.  If you need frequent Landry access, that's something to keep in mind. But overall, it was a fantastic 6 week stay, and we'd recommend it!   Thank you again for opening your apartment for us to enjoy.   Aloha

Amazing Location

Our family really enjoyed this working vacation. We are remote workers and the WiFi was great. Clean and had all the basics needed along with some items for the beach. Great location. Great hosts.

Location is wonderful

Staying on the north shore of Oahu is so much better than the Honolulu side. Beaches are incredible and not crowded. The house is very nicely kept, updated and very clean. The owners daughter and husband were so friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed. The only downside is being on the road side of the house instead of the beach side, but even then we turned on the fan or air conditioning at night and so didn't really hear the traffic. We would stay here again.

FANTASTIC

This place was perfect for the 5 of us. Wendy was fantastic. Its walking distance to the grocery story, PCC, LDS Temple, and 15-30min to the north shore depending on where you are going. The house is literally at the beach and we pretty much had the beach all to ourselves. You do hear traffic becuase the road is close. But it doesn’t bother much after a day or so. But WAY better than WIkiki where its saturated with people. You feel like a local staying here. Loved it.

Apartment was okay

The apartment was clean and acceptable for the price. Hotels in this area are considerably higher. The downside is the area itself. There are very few places to eat unless you want something like a food truck or Micky D's. Also, there aren't many good beaches in this area. Everything is 20 to 25 miles away and traffic is terrible both North and South. We put 900 miles on a car in two weeks.

A great beach rental on the pristine north shore

An ideal location right out the backdoor onto a beautiful beach. The Williams family are terrific hosts and will assist you if needed on answers as to places to go in the area or any questions about the unit. The apartment is comfortable with a nice queen bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the other bedroom. We were exploring most of the time and spent time in the apartment between beach visits and sightseeing. There is a hotplate and microwave for cooking so if you want something fancier for supper just go to one of the many dining options in the area. We ate most breakfasts and some lunches in the apartment and ate dinner out. If you want to buy alcohol you will have to go 5 minutes north or south of Laie as it is a dry town. It was not a problem at all as Long Drugs south of Laie was very convenient. We had a great time and heartily recommend this rental as good value for the money.

Great Hawaiian Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Oahu. I am so glad we decided to stay on the North Shore. It was convenient to many of the places we wanted to visit: The Dole Pineapple Plantation, The Polynesian Cultural Center, The LDS Temple, BYU Hawaii, Turtle Bay and the Kualoa Ranch. We traveled one day to Honolulu and went on a tour of the City and Pearl Harbor. We enjoyed meeting and visiting with the Williams family. The apartment was clean and comfortable except the stairs that we had to climb several times a day. We were a little disappointed that the ocean view that we were supposed to have was only visible when you stepped out on the porch and looked between two houses. The picture that we saw looked like we had a window with an ocean view. There was easy access to the beach, which was great, and then we had a great view. There was a list, in the apartment, that told of places of interest to see and favorite places to eat. We enjoyed lots of good food. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much. The North Shore is very beautiful and much more peaceful than the big city. Loved it!

Great location!

This property is in a great location for the activities we wanted to do and we loved being right in the beach. Watching the sunsets from the beach was gorgeous. We ate breakfast in the beach, which we loved. It was wonderful to have immediate access to the beach. It made it so easy to enjoy. And it is a beautiful section of beach. The apartment was clean and comfortable and any questions we had were immediately answered.

perfect beach front apartment

We had a wonderful family vacation. The apartment was spacious and had enough sleeping room for our entire family. We were steps away from the beach. The apartment is close to a public beach area but we never felt crowded. We almost had our own private beach. Close to so many attractions in Laie. Parking was great. Close to restaurants, grocery store and of course slurpee's at 7-11. I was able to do laundry. We felt safe and Lindsey was a great resource for great local attractions. I would recommend this apartment to a family of 5 adults or less. Body boards, beach towels, and beach chairs were available for us to use. Enjoy!!! The Petersons of Idaho❤️😎

Fantastic Location with beach in the backyard

Perfect location for exploring the North Shore. Super close to great food, convenient shopping, etc. Loved having the beach right out the back door, along with beach towels, chairs and boogie boards to use. The house had everything we needed for a great stay. Loved it.
