City of South Lake Tahoe Short Term Rental Ordinances Violation of ordinances can result in fines up to $1500:
a. The maximum occupancy of this property at all times, 24 hours a day, is 4 persons. Up to 2 children aged 13 and under do not count towards this occupancy limit.
b. Weddings, receptions, and commercial events are prohibited.
c. No use of outdoor spas or hot tubs is allowed after 10pm or before 8am.
d. No outdoor amplified music, speakers, or other noise-generating equipment is allowed after 10pm or before 8am.
e. Parking is prohibited on unpaved surfaces or on neighboring private property without permission. Parking is allowed only on paved surfaces.
f. Parking of commercial vehicles on the property is prohibited, except temporarily for durations of less than 4 hours.
g. Camping and sleeping in tents, travel trailers, campers, or recreational vehicles is prohibited at the property.
h. Trash and recycling shall not be left or stored outside except in a container (trash can) within a bear box or in an animal-resistant cart provided for use by South Tahoe Refuse.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program.
