Beachwalk 174 has wireless internet, a recently updated bathrooms. One of the 3 baths has a walk-in shower. Lovely decor, and all of the comforts of home with a flat screen TV in every room. This two-story townhouse across the street from the Sonesta Hotel which offers food & beverage options. Beachwalk 174 sleeps up to 8 people - King in the master, twins in bedroom 2, twins in bedroom 3, plus a sleeper sofa. There is a Gas Grill off the back patio for cooking those nice summer meals! 174 Beachwalk is located within the gated community of Shipyard, a private gated residential and resort community. This complex is a short walk to the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the Van Der Meer Tennis Academy. The Shipyard Golf Course has a unique combination of 9,18 or 27 holes available to play. Just outside the Shipyard gates you will find a wide selection of shopping and dining. Shipyard is the perfect location to grab your bicycle and stroll through the beautiful landscaped bike paths all throughout the community. For larger groups - please consider another 2 or 3 bedroom unit on our program at Beachwalk to pair with your stay in #174.

Spontaneous trip to the beach

It was perfect location, not a bad walk to the beach. The deck was more open not heavily wooded so we got a nice breeze. The unit was great for us with 2 icing spaces.

Spacious and Easy Walk to the Beach

So glad we chose this condo! Lots of room for the 6 of us. So many appliances, utensils, and dishes in the kitchen—made it easy for us to eat all of our meals in—which gave us more time for biking and the beach! Biking in the plantation is super shady w/ lots of bird & reptile sightings. Pool is nice and clean, and short walk to the beach w/ shower-off-sand area at the beach access. Would definitely stay here again with a large group.

The change was very smooth and handled very professionally. The property we stayed in was amazing. It was in an excellent location and so beautiful and very clean. Every single thing needed was provided. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone thinking about visiting Hilton Head.

The property is inside a gated community, some of the rules of getting into the community need some getting used to if you are coming from far away places. We met one very unfriendly door woman guarding the gate and kind of mood killer. Other than that it is a great vacation spot.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been going to Hilton Head every year for almost 20 years and have stayed at various locations. We love the beach there so this location was perfect for us since it is just a short walk along the bike path to get there. This year we weren't as lucky with the weather as it was much windier and wetter than usual but we still had several decent days of sun and surf and we enjoyed a relaxing stay at the condo. It was clean enough and comfortable but has some typical minor maintenance issues that are due for some attention. Still a great value though, and an enjoyable stay. The condo itself is huge, way bigger than what we need for two people, but it was quiet and convenient and we would stay there again! We felt safe and secure and Seashore Vacations was easy to talk to and ready to help quickly with any issues, although we really didn't have any problems during our stay.

No pizza cutter, small things were in disrepair (grill didn't work, toilet handles broke off, etc.), and the AC either was programmed to continue turning off or was broken. Overall, a great stay.

Reviewer Comments: My main gripe with this rental, aside from dated decor, was that the link to the map location shows a different property that is closer to the beach. When I pointed this out, management basically just said "it's still pretty close". Fact is, the map shows a different property. Maybe they will fix the link, but it's misleading. Hopefully they will replace the coffee maker too as it was a fire hazard with no auto-shut off and the "on" indicator light was so dim you couldn't tell it was on.

Nice Condo By The Pond At A Great Price!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Brought the family in from secveral states and stayed at the Shipyard condo. I loved that it was very close to dining and the Coligny beach, which is our favorite. The local beach was an 8 minute shaded walk and is at the Sonesta resort where you can pick up food, drinks and have access to water fountains and bathrooms. The condo was a good size with 2 big family rooms. Some of the guests had to take business calls and they had plenty of privacy. The common araa was very nice with a big TV. The master was very big, and each bedroom has a bathroom. Looks like the flooring has been redone including a new fireplace/hearth. Also, I believe the appliances were new. They had just put a brand new deck in. Pretty quick wifi. Folks were fishing in the pond and catching sizable fish. The pool was on the smaller size but had plenty of seating, and was very close to the condo. Lots of kids at the pool so pretty loud all day. However, no hot tubs and no fitness room. Highlights: 8 minute walk to beach. Plenty of room for 8+ adults. Close to Caligny beach, close to shopping and dining. New deck, new appliances, etc.Suggestions: Update the furniture, bedding (bed spreads/comforters). Not a big fan of the sky lights in the master but tough to remove them.

Place was in a great location and was happy with the accommodations. The deck could definitely use a power washing so really couldn’t sit out there. But overall happy with everything.

Close to the beach is a must, especially if you like to watch the sunrise over the water. Back yard was perfect. Lots of room on the deck plus we could watch the golfers! Watched some great shots while enjoying the sun and a beverage! The walkways and bike trails are beautiful.The townhouse had plenty of room and had all the basics for our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s like walking into an 80’s time capsule. Turquoise carpet, paneled walls and a sunken living room. Nearly everything is well-worn. But the mattresses were comfortable, everything worked and the unit was spotless. If you’re looking for an HGTV make-over, move on. But if you want to save a few hundred bucks a week and live in the house you may have grown up in, this is for you.
