At Kiotari Beach, 12 km south of Lindos, lies the charming, truly unique Villa Chevalier. At the edge of a wooded hill (30 m above sea level), it offers amazing views of the mile long bay, surrounding pine forest and fields. Situated in the absolute privacy of a large estate (4 acres) with mature trees, the villa stands out with the quality of its sophisticated design, the comfortable interior, relaxing outdoor and amazing location. Secluded, yet within walking distance to the picturesque locality's center and main beach, with fisher boats, tavernas, bars, shops. A great place to stay and perfectly located to explore the beauties of the island.

The villa has 4 bedrooms and comfortably accommodates 6 guests (exceptionally for families up to 8).

Cleaning, Linen and Towels: The villa is cleaned and completely prepared for your arrival. Cleanind is once a week in order to preserve your privacy, bed sheets and towels are changed. Cleaning can be more often if you wish. Linen, towels for the bath and the pool are provided, but not beach towels. Every visit for cleaning, change of linen and towels is upon arrangement and lasts ca. 3 hours. The large pool (8.5m x 4m) runs automatically and is maintained once a week. The sparkling clean pool water is the result of the overflow system, the ionization unit and the professional filter systems.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Chevalier. The house is very spacious and has a great pool, garden and BBQ area. The owners are very kind. One of the best stays we had up till now.

A great holiday villa

This is a fantastic villa to stay in and our only regret was that we only booked to stay for a week. The facilities at the villa were superb and there are a lot of restaurants a short drive from the property. Maria, one of the owners, was amazingly helpful, taking time to work out some bus times for us to help us out with a trip. We hope to come back and stay there again.

Maria was a super kind host. Check-in was easy and convenient - she had to wait a bit for us, unfortunately, because our flight was delayed. Not a problem. The place looks exactly like advertised. There is a lot of room, a nice swimming pool and outdoor area. We did not use the grill because we were worried about the wind but you’d have everything you’d need there. It’s convenient to get to the windsurfing spots or Lindos by car and you could also walk to a closer beach for a relaxed beach day (or chill at the pool). We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Rhodes one day.Thanks!

Chivalry at the Chevalier's

Villa Chevalier is a beautiful property with a lovely pool, outside eating and cooking and amazing views. We found it a good base to visit, ancient Lindos, st Paul's bay, Tharri monastery, Asklipio (wonderful ancient basilica). We also visited Kieromos acropolis and Kristini castle across the mountains but that was a bit more of an adventure. Maria and Ioannis were great hosts, and very flexible around arrival and check out.

Fantastic villa, great host

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Chevalier in June/July 2025. As a family of 4 including 2 teenage girls, property was perfect as there was plenty of bedroom/bathroom space. But the area we used most was outside. With temperatures in the 30s, most of us preferred the shade in between swims in the beautiful pool, and the covered area with sofas was perfect for this, with plenty of space for loungers in the shade as well. Host Maria was so helpful we couldn’t have asked for more, she was very responsive and attentive whenever we needed anything. Villa is within easy walking distance of several restaurants along the seafront, and we’d definitely recommend Stefano which we visited numerous times during our stay. Staff very welcoming and food delicious.

Fantastic villa, fantastic hosts

We had such a lovely holiday at Villa Chevalier. Maria and Ioannis were perfect hosts - friendly responsive and so helpful - every one of their recommendations was a winner and helped make our holiday in Rhodes memorable and wonderful in every way. The villa is very spacious, well equipped and very cleverly designed to allow brilliant air flow even on the hottest days (as well as air con, but great not to need to use it too much). We can’t speak highly enough of our experience and I suspect will be back 😊

We have just returned from an amazing 2 weeks in Villa Chevalier. The villa itself was fantastic - very well equipped & the beautiful pool & air conditioning were a must in the heatwave. The villa was spotlessly clean, very private, peacful & well equipped. There was a great little supermarket, butchers & ice cream parlour within a couple of minutes drive or quick walk. It was very well situated for walking to the local beach & a handful of lovely restaurants where the staff were very friendly & prices very reasonable. The little dotto train was great to drop off & pick up around the resort of Kiotari & there was a bus service to Rhodes & Lindos along the main road.Maria is lovely & gave us some great recommendations for places to visit & restaurants etc. She was on hand for any queries we had & to test the pool & do a quick clean mid way through our stay. We had a fabulous time, would highly recommend the villa & will hopefully return if we visit Rhodes again the future. Many thanks for making our 25th wedding anniversary stay so memorable Maria.

2024 family holiday

We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was perfect, it is set on a hillside just above Kiotari but close to the local restaurants, and shops. A car is needed, you can walk from the villa but if it’s hot the walk back up to the villa isnt the best. The villa has everything you need and the pool is a good size. Set on the hillside there was often a welcome breeze. Maria was very helpful providing lots of useful local recommendations for restaurants. We went to the bakery in Gennadi every morning to get croissants and pain au chocolates and sit with a coffee watching the locals go about their morning, Such a relaxing holiday. Beaches are stoney but not crowded and at times you felt like you had the beach to yourself.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir (3 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) haben den Urlaub in der Villa mit viel Privatsphäre sehr genossen. Die Zimmeraufteilung mit je 2 Doppelzimmer im oberen und unteren Stock war perfekt für uns. Der Aussenbereich mit Pool, Lounge, Essplatz und Outdoorküche mit Grill war traumhaft. Kiotari ist zudem ein guter Ausgangspunkt um Sehenswürdigkeiten und Strände zu erkunden. Auch ein Supermarkt, eine Bäckerei sowie eine wunderbare Fischtaverne (Stefano) sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Unsere Gastgeberin Maria hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und war immer bestens erreichbar wenn man eine Frage hatte. Vielen Dank!

Tolle ruhige Villa mit großem Pool

Die Villa steht allein ohne Nachbarn auf einem kleinen Hügel im Norden Kiotaris mit Blick auf das Meer. Sie hat 4 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder. Ein Großer Aufenthaltsraum mit offener Küche runden die Villa ab. Eine überdachte Terrasse mit einem großen Pool befinden sich auf der Südseite. Es gibt eine kleine Liegewiese. Ansonsten ist das Grundstück sehr groß, jedoch für Touristen kaum zu nutzen. Das Haus ist schon etwas abgewohnt, aber dennoch in Ordnung, durchdacht eingerichtet und weitesgehend sauber. Alle Räume, außer Bäder haben Klimaanlage. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie erfüllen fast jeden Wunsch. Die Kommunikation auf Deutsch und Englisch war sehr unkompliziert. Der Strand in Kiotari ist ein Kiesstrand und hatte kaum Touristen. Es gibt kostenpflichtige Liegen mit Schirmen. Der Weg zum Haus ist zu Fuß schwierig zu bewältigen, es wird ein Mietwagen empfohlen. Wir würden das Haus weiterempfehlen und ein weiteres mal buchen.

Viaje a Kiotari

Hemos pasado unos días maravillosos en casa de María y Ioannis. La casa estaba en perfectas condiciones de limpiezas y comodidades. La piscina y el jardín son una preciosidad. Apreciamos mucho el gran esfuerzo que han realizado después de los catastróficos incendios de julio para que pudiéramos pasar allí nuestras vacaciones. Son unos excelentes anfitriones.

Beautiful and peaceful Villa in a great location

Wonderful Villa, very spacious and well equipped with great outside dining and a lovely pool. Very secluded but within easy walking distance to beaches, local tavernas and supermarket. Plus bus stop 10 mins from Villa. Ioaniss and Maria were lovely and very welcoming. Maria went above and beyond being helpful...nothing was any trouble for her. We would definitely recommend this Villa.

Beautiful Villa in an amazing location

The villa was truly incredible. The beautiful scenery, lovely pool, spacious bedrooms and wonderful dining areas made our 10 day stay a real pleasure for each and every one of us. Kiotari beach was a 5 minute walk where there are some fantastic tavernas and probably one of the best beaches we went to (and we went to severa!) Maria and her dad are lovely and were very welcoming. It was our first time in Rhodes and I think we hit the jackpot with this villa. Definitely going back!

Wonderful getaway

Our stay couldn't have been more comfortable. Ioannis, Maria and Phil are lovely persons and wonderful hosts. They are at hand if you needed but never disturb your privacy so you can fully enjoy being with your family/company. The villa was everything we expected it to be and more. It lays on a quiet hill surrounded by a beautiful garden which gives you all the privacy you need and is well taken care of by Ioannis. The villa is well equipped and very tidy. All we needed, was provided for. From Ioannis and Maria we received many great suggestions about local and other restaurants, nice beaches and places to visit. We also just loved to chat with them when our paths crossed on the hill surrounding Villa Chevalier. We have rented many houses in Europe before but this place is certainly on number 1 of our list, not in the least because of the amazing hosts. Thank you Ioannis, Maria and Phil for making this an incredible relaxing getaway!

Better than we could have imagined

This villa and its hosts pretty much checked every box on our wishlist. Not an easy task for a family holiday of 8 people. The images do not do the property justice and it is far more spacious than it appears. The villa is cared for and well maintained. You cannot fault it with decor or cleanliness. We immediatly felt at ease. We loved the privacy the loaction offers. It was a real treat to not have any other homes overlooking and meant we could enjoy playing music with the speaker provided. Although a little hidden away the villa and grounds surrounding still feel very safe. We are really pleased to have chosen a villa a little bit away from the larger towns it was so peaceful. When you have a car (which is ideal regardless of where you are staying on the island) everything was a short enjoyable drive away. We even looked into renting a convertable to enjoy the drives some more. The hosts were so helpful and any minor issues were sorted with amazing efficency! They were there for any questions we had and even anticipated the need for wheelchair fiendly restaurants and were ready with recomendations on our arrival. They were very accomodating with things such as receiving a delivery form a health food store we had arranged before our arrival. There is not a great deal of choice in wheelchair friendly or fully accessible villas out there and we knew this was not considered to be one when booking. However for my son the transfer from the groundfloor bedroom to bathroom, living room area and pool was effortless which is all we really wanted. We really hope to return soon we think we've discovered a gem!

A haven !

Lovely villa, very spacious and well equipped, hidden away but still close enough to walk to restaurants. The lay out worked perfectly for us and we loved the outdoor seating area where we spent most time and also the outdoor kitchen. Loved the tranquility of the location. Ioannis and Maria were on hand to help out with anything we needed. Great communication too. We really appreciated their help and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

belle villa avec tous les équipements pour passer de bonnes vacances

La description de la villa correspond bien à ce que nous avons trouvé sur place. J'ai beaucoup aimé la piscine toujours au soleil. La villa est isolée de la ville, tout en étant proche des commerces dont le Carrefour Market est ouvert jusqu'à 23h. Etant au milieu de l'île, on peut aller à toutes les plages et faire une visite par jour. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et je vous recommande cette villa.

Heaven on Earth!

We have stayed twice at the Villa Chevalier and hope to do so again, even if it means traveling all the way from Chicago. Mr. Stouppos is an excellent and friendly host who happily sees to your every need. There are plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and be3aches within shouting distance, and close by is the beautiful and ancient city of Lindos. It's easy to get to - right off the main road from Rhodes City/Airport. For pure relaxation in a perfect climate, you can't co wrong with the Villa Chevalier! Jan and John Rizzo, Chicago

Herrlicher Urlaub in der Villa Chevalier

Wir kommen gerade von einem herrlichen und sehr entspannten Urlaub von Rhodos zurück. Die Villa war genau so, wie sie im Internet vorgestellt wurde. Ein großer Pool, genügend Sitzgelegenheiten - ob unterm Dach oder schön in der Sonne - ein toller Grill und eine Dusche im Freien. Der Urlaub begann mit einer herzlichen Begrüßung vom Vermieter. Die An- und Abreise war ganz unkompliziert. Die Villa ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen !!!
