This charming and well located 70 square meters 1 Bedroom apartment (1 bedroom+ 1 Living room, + 1 separated space at the entrance with one single bed) is Located rue du Mail in the 2nd district, on the 4th French floor of 18th century walk up building and it sleeps max 6 people (Attention : from the 4th one, any extra person will cost daily 35€ more).
The apartment is equipped with: unlimited high speed internet access, stereo, a fan and one AC that you can move from one room to another.
Bed linens, Blankets, Pillows, Towels and Kitchen utensils are provided. The 18th century walk up building is equipped with: security code, intercom. The 30 square meters living room has 2 double glassed windows and street facings It Is furnished with: dining table for 2 people, sofa, coffee table, 2 armchairs, built-in shelves, hard wooden floor. The check-in is 11 AM, and check out is 12 PM.

Great paris location

Amazing location for expericing Paris. Close to metro, a ton of restaurants, and next door to groceries. Was enough space for family of 5 to spread out.

Great spacious Paris apartment!

A perfect place to stay in a lively area. The apartment is lovely and in a great location. Nearby lively Rue Montorgeuil area full of restaurants, bars, cafes. Handy grocery store just a couple doors down. The beds were very comfortable. Marco was very prompt with communications. We loved everything about it.

Wonderful property wtih a very generous and kind owner. The place is ideal for a couple (luxurious) and will work for two couples or a couple with kids. One full bedroom, other a pull out couch. Overall excellent and super comfortable.

Excellent apartment

My family really enjoyed staying in Marco's apartment. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us (2 parents & 2 children). The location of the apartment was ideal as it is very close to a boulangerie, café, métro, supermarket, and more. All utilities worked well, especially the washer. Marco did an excellent job of explaining everything to us. The wifi signal was strong and reliable. We would certainly stay there again!!!!!

Great place; great location

This was a very clean apartment with lots of space and very comfortable. Marco was really helpful in getting me oriented to the neighborhood (warning: superb bakery a few footsteps away). It is the 4th floor, so be prepared - a nice view when you get there. Walkable from the RER (Halles) from CDG airport. Also walkable to museums, shopping and other sites we tourists like to go. I'd stay here again anytime. Thanks, Marco!

We stayed in Marco's apartment for 4 days over the New Years holiday. Marco is a truly wonderful, accessible, and honest owner. We would rent from him again in a heartbeat. He is very conscientious and trustworthy. His apartment is in a great location, easy to walk anywhere. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. Although in a central location, it is on a side street and the apartment itself is very quiet. There is a grocer right next door. We are a family of 5 - 3 large teenagers- and we had plenty of room. However, just as he states, this apartment is on the top floor and there is not an elevator. Staying in this apartment truly made our holiday special!

Shabby not chic.

The good things, building is charming, great area. Bed comfortable. Easy check in. Negatives, only two pieces of real furniture in living, 2 stained couches. No coffee table, only one small side table. Furnishings mismatched and look as though they were found on the streets of Paris. This person's idea of decorating is to display every paperback book and CD he's ever owned in every nook and cranny and several bookshelves. Kitchen is rough around the edges. Floors worn, place needs a paint job. Hairs all over bathroom floor when I arrived. This apt. could be a winner but it's pretty sad, run down and frankly depressing. I would never go back.

NEVER AGAIN. This man is a nightmare: he doesn't communicate till the moment he shows up, expecting that my neighbour would bring his luggage upstairs, he made a scandal in the first minute he arrived because there was some works downstairs in the street that afternoon and wanted to leave right away, asking for his money back, then changed his mind. Capricious. A "nouveau riche", as pretencious than bad mannered and dirty, btw he broke my fan and didn't buy another, nor said sorry for anything... I don't recommend.

Parisian disappointment

This was my 8th VRBO & 7 of 8 have been wonderful. The second to last night my son came into the main room, where I was on the fold out sofa bed, and informed me a bed bug was on my sheets. I had previously shown him a rash on my legs but did not know cause.The apartment was surface clean upon arrival, but we soon discovered 2 dirty towels set out for us. No wash clothes. No hand towels. Mold on the washing machine rim. No AC, despite listing AC—just a fan about a foot wide. Day temps were high 70’s. We were uncomfortable with curtains missing from 2 windows, one in the room I slept, the other in the bathroom, in which construction workers were working on the roof next door. The owner’s toiletries were left in the bathroom.We observed a glueboard under the sink, which we believed is used to catch mice. The refrigerator, a mini fridge, was filled with the owner’s food, leaving little space for groceries. As a result, we ate out every meal, adding unexpected cost to our stay.The beds were a mattress atop a wooden structure, resembling a bookcase, not boxsprings. The shower didn’t drain properly— water pools a few inches deep. My son slipped and fell on day 3.The apartment is located on the fifth floor with no elevator as listed. It was very tiresome trying to get luggage up and down the stairs. The furnishings appear to be items found at a thrift store or on the street, as indicated by a previous VRBO renter from New York.

Awesome host and apartment in a great location

Lovely and very beautiful apartment

The apartment was very clean and the check in was very easy… also the communication with Marco was very easy comfortable. We really loved the apartment which had much space and looked very nice. We had an amazing stay!

We spent 4 nights in this apartment with our sons (12, 9 and 8). The apartment was great! It was warm with warm water and clean linens, and enough space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and if we needed anything the Franprix was nearby. The neighborhood was very safe and the apartment was well located with bakeries and bistros nearby. It was also 10-15 min walk to either the Louvre or Les Halles. Marco was a friendly host who took the time to wait for us at the apartment and then show us how everything worked. While we didn't need to trouble him during our visit since everything in the apartment was easy to find and use. He left us his number and told us to call whenever, though we didn't need to. Just one thing to point out - there are stairs to get to the apartment - not an issue for us but just something to note. We had a great time and would stay there again!

Top-level apartment in Paris

An interesting space on the top floor in an wonderful neighborhood. You have to climb the stairs, but at the top is a fun space with room for our family of 6. Wonderful breezes and neighborhood views from the windows. There is a nice little grocery store just a few doors down that was very handy. Overall a fantastic experience.

Paris flat - 2nd Arrondisement

Lovely rooftop flat centrally located in Paris. Near lots of great bars and cafes, Fran Prix grocery store just a few doors down the street as well. Would definitely book again.

Spacious apartment for 5 people

We enjoyed staying at the apartment during our visit to Paris. The apartment is located in a very nice area in Paris, lots of cafes and shops nearby, and with a grocery store very closeby. There was a lot of room for our family of 5 to spread out. Marco (the owner) was really nice, getting in touch with us before hand to make sure that our stay was smooth and enjoyable.

Wonderful, spacious, eclectic apartment in convenient location

The lovely apartment is light-filled and on a very pretty street and arrondissement, which is thankfully less crowded than other parts of Paris yet still conveniently located. The apartment is eclectically furnished with lots of books, which we loved, big windows that open to let in cool breezes and lots of light. The beds were all comfortable, linens clean and plentiful for our needs. The kitchen is also perfectly functional. Marco was very kind and responded quickly to questions, and checking in and out was extremely easy. Our family of four stayed here for three nights in May. There are great sleeping options for kids/teens who no longer share a bed. The apartment feels very, homey and welcoming.

Loved our stay at Marco's apartment!

Marco is a wonderful host! He was waiting for us at the apartment, gave us helpful tips about the neighborhood. The building, the courtyard and the apartment are full of charm. The location is perfect - quite street in the city center, just few steps from Palais Royal Garden, Louvre museum is just 10 min walk. There are few good restaurants around the corner and a grocery store ( Franprix Supermarket ) next door. Perfect stay! Would love to come back to Paris and would definitely choose Marco's apartment for another stay if available. Thank you Marco!

Greatly located and charming apartment

Marco was a great host that accommodated us when our flight was delayed. The apartment is really well located in a very nice, quiet area, that is walking distance to major attractions and multiple subway lines. Good restaurant options nearby with a supermarket and a nice bakery on the same block. I hope you like stairs as the apartment is on the top floor of a walk-up. The pullout bed in the living room is a bit squeaky, but the one in the bedroom is very comfortable.

The only reason I give it 3 stars because of the high stairs to the apartment and the items left around (tool box, tools on the desk, etc.). The apartment is great to sleep in and then move on with your day. Location is perfect for tourist.

Strange review : If mister Arroyo had read the description before coming, he would have know before the number of stairs (4 and a half). And about the tools on the desk : it's a private apartment, there are my books and my cds on the shelves (no boxes or strange tools on the desk, just a few pensils and block notes), and above all, this is not an hotel, and it's the whole concept of renting the apartments on this website, this is the reason that it's a warmer environment then an anonymous hotel. If Mr Arroyo was looking for a Hollyday In asepticized room, he ended up in the wrong place, it's another type of renting...

perfect and charming location

Marcos apartment in the eaves of a classic Parisian walk up was perfect for myself and two teenage boys. the apartment has all the Parisian charm that you could want and there was plenty of room for everyone to have some personal space.the apartment had everything that we needed to be self sufficient though in honesty we only ate 'at home' once. there are lots of lovely bistros within a few minutes walk and a fantastic patisserie at the end of the road on rue Montmartre ( the almond croissants are the best I have had and I have had many). the neighborhood is charming and ideally located , within 10 minutes of the louvre and Palais royale.....we were able to walk everywhere and when we couldn't the metro was also only a couple of minutes away. Marco answered all questions carefully and very promptly and we always felt well looked after. the pictures are true to the apartment and it was all clean and in good working order. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Great home to live the Paris magic

The home is really fascinating, a bit on the bohémien side but clean, comfortable and fully furnished. Keep in mind that it's located in an old stylish building at 4th floor (attic) with no elevator, so it may not be for everyone. The reward is a great view on the roofs. The location is perfect for tourists, both the Metro and the RER are close, the quartier is full of restaurants and places where to buy whatever you can need, it's also a very nice part of Paris, very close to the Louvre, the Centre Pompidou and the town center, yet quiet being a side street and a high floor. Marco the owner is very honest and helpful, so don't be worried for the bail deposit that he asks. If you don't damage the home, he will return the money pretty much immediately after the vacation. We had a very nice vacation, thanks again Marco !

Where is the "scola-pasta"?

Great apartment in the very heart of Paris. Ideal for city sight-seeing. Very quiet and located in a very nice quartier. Marco is a a very kind person: he was out of Paris in the day we arrived, but everything was well managed; he found the time to have a phone call to give us some hints about the neighborood. We are a family with 2 teen-agers and one kid, and we really appreciate the space. A great stay. Surely we will come back!
