Master bedroom with king bed, private 1/2 bath and access to back deck. Two other bedrooms with 2 twin beds in each, all linens supplied including beach towels. Open kitchen and dining area for family nights and entertaining. Great living room with two sleeper(klik klak) couches. Bikes included!

Two minute walk to the beach of Ocean Bay Park, bordering Seaview. Nice Quiet area with plenty of room for all at the beach!

Wonderful home three houses from the beach

House is great. Perfect island aesthetic and amazing location (three houses) from the beach. Huge wrap around deck. Easy walk to all the action. Pam was an excellent host. Very responsive and accommodative. Highly recommend!

Love this house!

My friends and I have been visiting this house for almost a decade. It's our go-to ladies weekend house. It's comfy and very close to the beach and the owner Pam is very easy to communicate with. It's a perfect Fire Island getaway spot.

Excellent experience

Next time we will stay even longer! So close to the beach, ferry and small shops along the way. Description was pretty accurate! Communication with host was excellent, Pam was extremely responsive at all times. The only con to this property is that non of the bikes were in working order...either the chain link was off, petals didn't move due to rust, or tires had no air. Other than that, it was great and we'd love to come back!

Great location but house almost uninhabitable

This house is in a great location in Ocean Bay Park- itā€™s three houses from the beach, an easy walk from the ferry and an 10 minute bike ride to all the restaurants in Ocean Beach. The house has a lot of great amenities, like bikes and food beach chairs. As we knew from the description of the home it does not have AC. We thought being close to the beach would help with the lack of AC, however, it was so hot and humid in the house that all the furniture in the living room was damp. Damp to the point of being unusable. In fact, I mistakenly thought there was a leak in the roof because the couch was so wet and notified the owner. While it was clear from the photos that the house was rustic, the house is in worse shape than the photos depict. The outside deck is dilapidated and there are piles of garbage on the back deck. There were ants and ant traps all over the kitchen counter and instructions left for guests to wipe down the surfaces everyday to keep the ant problem under control. I get that ants are a problem even in luxury homes, but unfortunately all of these issues combined made the home almost impossible to relax in. We had the house rented for two weeks, but after evacuating for hurricane Henri halfway through, we decided not to return for our second week. Pam would not refund any of our payment.

Great house close to the beach

We had a great stay at this house which is a hop and a skip from the beach. The bedrooms are not large but they were clean and comfortable. The house was set up with all the amenities one would want such as beach chairs, umbrella, grill, etc. Communication with the owner was superb and friendly.

Excellent vacation house!

The house was perfect for us. It is so close to the beach and has everything you need: beach chairs, towels, umbrellas etc. the outdoor facilities include a shower, and a bib and hose to clean off. Pam gave great directions and made everything super easy. Great place!!

Practically on the beach

Canā€™t beat the location. The house was as described, and we made great use of the grill and outdoor shower. We had a couple of minor issues (a fuse blew the last day in the kitchen, couldnā€™t get the dishwasher to work) but overall had a very pleasant experience.

Perfect trip!

Stayed here with 8 girls for a weekend and it was perfect. The location is 3 houses from the beach and about a 10minute walk to OBP main area (ferry/Flynnā€™s/Schooners) easy to do with no baggage. Ocean Beach is about 20min walk through Seaview which isnā€™t bad at night since the residential area has security posted at a couple spots along the walk making it feel safe to walk with just us girls. Communication with the host was easy and fast. There is No AC! We stayed on a cooler weekend and with the fans and windows open it wasnā€™t bad at all. The only ā€œconā€ was the cleaning. We were asked to wash and fold linens and towels before we left but with a 12pm check out it was difficult but the host allowed us to just start the was. The house could use a good cleaning/general maintenance the lights and some surfaces were dusty and the shower handle fell off a couple times but nothing that would ruin the trip at all. Overall the trip was great and I would stay here again/recommend the house.

Highly Recommend

It was a lovely place and so close to the beach! The outdoor shower made it easy to rinse off the sand and there was a few places to grab food nearby. The bikes were awesome - it made it a quicker trip to the strip in Ocean Beach. The house had the cutest nautical vibe with plenty of beds for everyone. If you're looking for a nice getaway, this is your spot!

Perfect & easy beach escape

We had a lovely time at the house. Pam provided everything we needed for a great beach vacation. Instructions were incredibly clear and getting to and into the house was easy. The location is perfect, steps away from the beach. We would absolutely come back. Thank you for a great trip.

perfect Fire Island gataway

The house is steps away from the ocean side of Fire Island, in a location that is both close enough to bustle of Ocean Beach (20 minutes walk to all the restaurants) but also far removed from it. We've been coming to FI for years, and this was the loveliest property/location yet! The owner is very easy to work with, and the house is exactly as described.

We stayed at Pam's place for bachelorette weekend...and the house was perfect! Very clean and comfortable with many amenities and the location was great too...just a few steps from the beach. Great stay

House proximity to the beach is unbeatable. A bit far from the ferry docks but with the wagon Pam provides it makes the trip very manageable if you have a lot of stuff.

Great spot! Great host!

Great house in an unreal location. Was very easy to work with Pam- she let us check in a little early. Was very comfy and had great access to the beach. Only downside is no AC in the house, but its filled with fans to compensate. Would definitely come back!
