Water Forest Retreat-Octagon

This magical tiny house has a great location surrounded by forest in Norwich, Connecticut. Glampers looking for a romantic getaway amid nature have just found their perfect retreat and the 122 square foot heated and electrified octagon enjoys 56 acres of forest with a brook, 2 miles of walking trails with a lovely pond, and even a small waterfall on the property. Walking sticks, bug repellent, umbrellas and binoculars are provided. There is no running water in the Octagon but we supply bottled water. There is no refrigerator, microwave or air conditioning. Box fans are provided. We supply essentials for cooking, such as pots, pans, utensils, Keurig coffee machine and towels, shampoo and soap for the shower.



After a day out exploring the stunning forest, guests will have a cozy rental equipped with a full-size bed to ensure a good night's sleep. There's also a heated outhouse with a composting toilet close by as well as an outdoor shower and sink with hot water at the main house which is about a minute walk away. There are several other thoughtful additions including a chandelier, a cabinet, a table and chairs, and USB ports for devices. A bookbinder sits atop the cabinet with information about things to do in the area.



Outside, guests have a fantastic fire pit and dining area where they can enjoy some delicious snacks in some truly serene surroundings.
