Live, Love, Laugh At The Lake

Welcome to our beautiful 3 bedroom loft lake home. Easy living at our cabin. Our open floor plan offers great space to relax in. The master suite on the main floor, plus two bedrooms upstairs and a loft offer plenty of sleeping space. Cable TV, DVD Player and Playstation 2 plus internet offers all the technology you may need. We have board games, puzzles and cards for the occasional rainy day as well. The main floor boasts a 4 season lounge area, great for playing cards while keeping an eye on the lake. The family room has a gorgous stone gas fireplace for those cool nights. Full laundry allows you to never have damp towels. On the main floor we also have a beautiful half bathroom. Round Lake is one of Minnesota's clearest, spring fed lakes. It is just over 500 acres so a great recreational lake. One third of the lake is state land so it is a quiet lake with just one public access.

A beautiful home and property. Our family loved it!

We had 6 days of perfect weather and loved our stay. Plenty of room for the six of us. A lovely view of the lake. We brought our own kayaks and loved time on the lake. Thank you for a great vacation location.

What a beautiful week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our much needed family time at the cabin! It was perfectly suited to our needs--exactly as pictured (even better in person). Dave and Deb were excellent to work with! Hoping to spend some time there again next summer!

Lovely "up north" getaway

If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay …. this is the place. Lovely lake home with all the amenities you'll need to make your vacation perfect. The lake is just the right size for fun and relaxation. My favorite spot was the Adirondack chairs ..... hit the pause button ..... soak in the fresh air and simply live, love, laugh.

Making Family Memories☀️

The Lutz cabin felt like a home away from home. The beautiful cabin was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities that we needed. We had plenty of room for all 7 of our adults. Plus there was room for more if need be. Our dogs loved the clean, shallow lake and us adults loved floating off of the dock. There was a lot of seating indoors for games at night and plenty of counter space for preparing our meals. The nice flat yard was great for some games of Spikeball and playing fetch with the dogs. Deb was great to work with and was very accommodating. We had no major issues and on our one rainy day we went to Zorbaz and explored town a little bit. We made amazing family memories and can't wait to stay there again!🌲☀️

Lovely home and beautiful lake!

We loved our stay! The location is very private but not too remote, the lake is quiet and peaceful, and the home is perfectly suited for six people (could even add a couple of kids). We had everything we needed for cooking in each night, and the place was spotless when we arrived. The photos do not do this home justice -- it is very pretty! We didn't have any luck fishing, but that was okay. The floating island was a huge hit with us. We rented a pontoon from a local person, and it was just okay. Would have been better if we had our own boat to bring. Two things need attention: the dock needs repair, and the gas grill doesn't appear to be working properly (not all the burners function?). Other than that, perfect in every way!

There is nothing better than floating on the lake on a beautiful summer day! I appreciate the feedback regarding the grill, we will get the burners checked out to make sure there is nothing clogged. The steel and wood dock is sturdy but getting older. Thanks again for choosing our lake to spend time with your family!

Lake life at its finest.

We had a great time at this lake home. The flat yard is great for games and the lake was clean and not too busy for recreation. The cabin had everything we needed.

Lovely week on the lake

My husband and I have been working from home through COVID, and needed a break from the 24 hour a day proximity of our home offices. We rented this lovely cottage for 5 days, and it was just the break that we needed! The house is sparkling clean and it had everything that we could possibly want during our stay. I especially appreciated the access to their water toys (lots of inflatables, a paddleboat, and a stand-up paddleboard!) and the special touch of a welcome basket. Nothing could be more relaxing than waking up and enjoying a cup of hot coffee while sitting on the dock of a quiet lake in the morning. PERFECTION! Thank you Deb and Dave for hosting the getaway that we needed. I hope that we will visit again!

Beautiful views

Had a great time at this beautiful lake front property. Plenty of space for my family of 6, 4 adults and 2 children (Ages 8 & 4). The hosts were very accommodating and let us use their paddle board and paddle boat on an extremely clean lake. Very much enjoyed waking up with coffee on the chairs on the dock in the morning followed by a day on the lake followed by a fire at night on their awesome fire pit area. Highly recommended for families looking to relax on a lake. Thank you!

Live, love, laugh at the Lake

We just returned from spending 5 days at this amazing lake house! Our family and friends loved it too! The weather was in the 80's and beautiful! We grocery shopped at Ukura store and were impressed with their meat counter and variety of food and general supplies--AND they take debit/credit cards too! We were also able to get gas and basic supplies at the holiday gas station in McGregor on Sunday night as late as 9pm. We didn't make it to all the surrounding places but did take a day trip to Duluth and had a great time there as well! We went to spirit mountain adventure park, enger tower and the aerial lift bridge. It was great to enjoy a home away from home instead of a hotel. We swam, jet-skied, went tubing, used the paddle boat, the hammock, all the great patio furniture, and Bon fire pit. Using VRBO to send payment was very easy and convenient. Our dog loved spending this vacation time together too. The information PDF file emailed to us just before our turn at the lake house was very well done and much appreciated! 5-star lake house and owners, 5-star McGregor business service.

Sisters/Best Friends Annual Retreat

My group of sisters/BFFs just returned from our annual retreat. This completed our third trip to this lovely lake home. Each gathering here is as inviting as our first trip. It truly has become our "home away from home". The home continues to meet all of our needs.....we literally only need to pack our clothes, food, and refreshments. We had an opportunity to meet the owner, Deb, this trip so we were able to thank her in person for opening up her family's home to us. If you are looking for the perfect getaway, I highly recommend this beautiful lake property.

Beautiful lake retreat

I have never felt so at home away from home! Deb makes every effort to make her guests feel welcome. The payment system using VRBO was seamless. When I find such a perfect retreat, I almost don't want to share it with anyone, to keep it a secret. You literally only need to pack your clothes, they've thought of everything else. Many thanks for allowing us to spend precious family time together, you've got a perfect slice of God's country.

Beautiful cabin and a crystal clear lake!

Your cabin is beautiful and a very comfortable place to stay with multiple people. The lake is amazing as it is so clear, when we went fishing all we had to do was watch the water to see the fish, it was so fun! Our dog loved it too, jumping off the dock and chasing after her ball. She would swim for hours! Sitting by the campfire in the evening was so relaxing on the quiet lake with the only sounds of loons to be heard. That area has so much wildlife to be seen, it was a real treat to see eagles, deer, loons, herons and many other creatures of the woods! The communication was excellent and the directions were very helpful with our stay. Thank you so much for sharing your property, we hope to be able to do it again sometime!

Sisters/Best Friend's Annual Retreat

Twice a year my sisters and best friends (total of eight) get together for a girl's weekend.....we have now found the perfect location for our annual retreat. The pictures on the website are as beautiful as the property is in person. It was the perfect size for all of us to play cards together, eat together, or go off by yourself for some quiet time. From the moment we all arrived at this lovely lake home, we knew this was the perfect location to "Live, Love, and Laugh"....which we did plenty of. The kitchen is nicely stocked, the home is beautifully furnished, and the setting is truly tranquil. I would highly recommend this property for anyone.....you will not be disappointed.

Doing Life at the Lake

The cabin was the ideal location for my staff's end-of-the-year retreat. After a long and eventful year, the cabin was the perfect place to rest and reflect upon our time as a staff. No matter where we went in the house we were able to enjoy the scenic views of the lake. Whether we were sharing in conversation, enjoying a meal, playing a game, or reading a book, the peacefulness of the place was present. The woodland theme is carried seamlessly throughout the house which really helps make the place feel like an escape rather than an extension of work. I particularly enjoyed the natural feel which came from the beautiful wood and stone. Overall, the facility is very clean and welcoming. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to rest and rejuvenate.

Step out of your car and see the lake, feel the breeze and breath deeply the fresh air. Sit on the dock in the morning, with the fish and the loons.
