Quiet Escape: 2-bedroom cottage near Lake Barkley in Cadiz KY

This Cadiz cottage is new and has 2 inviting bedrooms, each featuring a comfortable queen bed. Guests can unwind in the pleasant living room, which includes a twin sofa bed for extra sleeping space. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots / pans and silverware along with small appliances. With heating and air conditioning, the cottage stays comfortable. Large 600 sq fr covered porch offers a grill, TV, and plenty of seating with a view of the woods. Driveway has plenty of space for boat parking.Feel free to reach out to us during your stay – we’re happy to suggest local spots to check out. We welcome stays up to 30 days long.

Of course we must have some house rules to protect us and out guests. We would like you to be sure you are able to comply before booking your stay with us.

- Speed limit is 6 MPH entering and exiting the premises. Please watch for wildlife
- No overnight guests permitted beyond the number indicated in your reservation
- No visitors of guests permitted on property later than 11:00 pm
- Activities such as parties, domestic issues, loud music, slamming doors etc. are not permitted. No fireworks
- No more than the max of 2 people in each bed and one adult on the twin sofa couch
- DO NOT flush any products other than toilet paper down the toilet. We are on a septic system and they will create back up
- Check in and check out times must be adhered to in order to provide owner time to clean home, change beds etc. for next guests
- NO SMOKING inside the house or in the woods. Smoking permitted on porch. Ashtrays are provided. Please use them.
- Do not access restricted areas or the space around the RV guests.
- For your and our protection, there are cameras located on the outside of the property.
- Clean all dirty dishes prior to leaving. (Dishwasher soap pods are located under the kitchen sink) and take trash to dumpster
- Put all used kitchen and bath towels, washcloths, hand towels and any linens from the hide a bed in the hamper by the door. Cleaning will take care of the beds in the bedrooms.
- Local Fire laws require fire pits not to be used on windy days and also that all fire be extinguished prior to being left unattended. Hose on side of building can be used to put out all burning ashes.
