Wyndham Indio Luxury Resort

The Wyndham Indio Resort is a Mediterranean-style resort is just a putt away from the renowned Golf Course at Terra Lago. A few area highlights include casinos, world-class shopping and dining, natural wonders like Joshua Tree National Park, and festivals celebrating everything from tamales to dates. The resort has 2 Outdoor Swimming Pools, a lazy river, 5 outdoor hot tubs, day spa, fitness center, 2 tennis courts, playground and much more.


The condo available for rent is a 2 bedroom - 2 bath furnished condo. The condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware, and dishes. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a private bath. The second bedroom varies in beds. There is a second full size bathroom. Each of the bedrooms have flat screen TV's. The condo has a nice size living room that includes a queen size sofa sleeper.


The name provided will need to be the name of the person responsible for checking into the condo. The name on the reservation with be the only one allowed to check in with the resort front desk. We can put up to two names on the guest confirmation and the rest of the guest can be added at check in. ANY CHANGES TO THE GUEST CONFIRMATION ONCE CONFIRMED REQUIRES A $99 CHANGE FEE.

This resort collects a Transient Occupancy Tax upon check-in of $12.50 per day.

Excellent property

We found the unit clean, functional and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed the Lazy River and hot tub. Convenient market on location asking with Starbucks was handy. Highly recommended for a family.

Beautiful Spot

A perfect locale for our trip to take in Indian Wells Tennis Tourney. A quick 25 min drive from some fantastic tennis. When we weren’t watching tennis we were playing tennis or Pickleball at the resort. Both swimming pools were great and my 87 year old mother-in-law loved the lazy river!!! We will definitely try and go back again.

fun in the sun

The resort was a great location for my family. Unfortunately the airline cancelled our flight to CA, and booked us a day late. When we arrived at the resort, they said our room wasn't ready. When I explained that we were a day late to check in and said that our room should be available, they quickly found us a room. That room did not have a room with two twins in it as advertised (likely since they gave our room up when we didn't arrive on time). Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Exceeded our expectations

The resort was well kept and beautiful. The condo we stayed in exceeded our expectations. It was clean and had all supplies needed for cooking. It also had small packets of dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, coffee, coffee filters and salt and pepper. The bathrooms had small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. The concierge phoned daily to ensure you had all the supplies you needed and brought lots of supplies up to your room when you asked. It had lots of bbqs available to use. The pools and hot tubs were clean and well kept. Be aware that you will be approached to attend a presentation though. We would definitely stay there again!

We loved it!

We absolutely loved this place - it exceeded our expectations. The rooms are much more updated and renovated than the photos provided on the listing. There was a full kitchen (with plates, dishes, and everything needed), dining table, two couches, and a pull out bed. We were pleasantly surprised. The pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and arcade were also fun additions. Our host was very easy to communicate with and was helpful in responding to any questions. The only downside was that the resort charges for WiFi if you are not a Wyndham member. The data reception was not great either at the resort - so we opted to do an internet-free trip. Overall, we adored this place and will definitely return!

Resort-style Stay

First off, yes, it is a timeshare. At check in and during interactions with the office, they do make an emphasis on whether you are an owner or not. I turned down offers of getting wristbands (actually a nice feature, acts as a key to your room and the pool, can be used to charge stuff to your room, such as food from the cafe) because I didn't want to go through the motions of refusing a sales meeting. Beyond the slight hassle of the time share, this is a beautiful property to stay in. The rooms are really nice and very clean. They are stocked with the basics. My kids ADORE the pools, especially the lazy river. And, the property has daily activities for kids, like crafts, movie dates in the "theater", ice cream socials, etc. This was our second stay at the property and we will definitely return.

No support in time of crisis.

We were forced to go when we requested to cancel due to the Coronavirus. The vrbo personnel that I spoke to were no help and said that I needed to speak to the manager. I emailed the manager and was told I was out of luck and should have taken out insurance. I then called vrbo back and explained that I am 69 with a health issue and they said there was no health issues even though there was a warning for the area and I asked if they were in the US and knew what was going on. They said no and again said there was no health issue. I can’t believe the response from both vrbo and the manager in such a difficult time. We stayed inside the time of the stay. It might be nice if we could have gone out.

Beautiful Condo and Resort! Great Family Time!

Our family had an amazing, relaxing stay at Wyndham! So many fun things to do including lazy river, hot tubs, arcade, pickleball, fitness center, basketball, and the list goes on! Beautiful condo with comfy beds and nice kitchen. Will definitely visit again!

Indian Wells Tennis Tournament

Our stay was delayed a day due to a cancelled flight so we had four nights here instead of five. Check-in was easy. No pressured sales (I walked past the desk and did not stop for wristbands so that might not have been the case if I had). Staff was super friendly and responsive. Property was beautiful. The grounds were very well kept. We were so lucky the tennis courts were right outside our unit and they even had lights. We traveled each day to the Indian Wells tennis tournament. It was a 20 min drive. There were lots of options within 5 minutes of this resort (restaurants, grocery stores, etc.) We used the lazy river (mostly adults) however lots of kids in the pools. It was warm and felt amazing. The layout of our unit was great. Large patio where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. The 2nd bedroom had a queen bed (we only had one child with but I ideally love the units with 2 twin beds). The washer/dryer was unbalanced and sounded like it was going to explode but seemed to get the clothes clean. Our final night I was awoken by a fight next door. It was a two-hour ordeal and prior to this night I had not heard a thing. The management staff was very responsive and kind and even gave us a late check out since sleep had been very disrupted. I've stayed at lots of resorts like this one. My favorite thing was they let you text (instead of call) when you needed service. It was amazing. I'm so used to these resorts where no one answers the phone. I was charged $63.50 at arrival. I have not had time to research what that was for. Great stay. Matt was a wonderful host. Very responsive and helpful although we didn't ask for much (especially when our flight was cancelled).

The best!!!

I shouldn't say this, as we want to book with Matt again. Incredible stay, and Indio is a true heavenly place to choose any amount of time to stay. Matt was a very easy to communicate with owner, and the location and condo units were impeccable.

Great Resort Option for Golfers

We wanted to try something new as golfers who the usually golf the Palm Desert area. I wanted to book something outside the area and try some new courses with a couple of friends. When I booked this unit, I was impressed with how nice the photos were. They were very accurate. Large pool, store, recreation area, etc. We played golf both days we were there and used the jacuzzi after. The Condo unit was larger than expected. There were 2 bedrooms and a large murphy bed so we each had our own bed! Our unit was on the bottom floor with a pond. It was nice drinking coffee by the pond in the morning. Thank you so much for a memorable couple of days.

No respect

Called 5 times to complain about upstairs neighbors being loud running and screaming kids at 6 in the morning this was every morning. I contacted the front desk and they kept “sending security” Don’t know if they actually showed up or the people didn’t care. Did not get any sleep all 5 nights
