Inside this open concept space you will find light flowing in from the private balcony with incredible views of the Gulf of America. The well-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliance and is stocked with pots/pans/utensils. The living space has a flat screen TV to relax after a day on the beach. It also features a sleeper sofa. This unit is equipped with a washer and dryer in the unit.

The main bedroom features a king-size bed with flat screen TV and access to the balcony. Ensuite main bathroom features a large vanity with brand new walk-in shower. The second bedroom offers a queen size bed with ensuite bathroom featuring a shower/tub combo. The third bedroom also offers a queen-size bed and third bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

You must be 25 years old to rent at Romar Place.

The Neighborhood:
Romar Place is located in beautiful Orange Beach on the beach. Walking distance from Wolf Bay Restaurant, Ruby Slipper Cafe, or Doc's Seafood. Attractions in the area include Adventure Island, Beachside Mini Golf, and Arcade. A short drive to the Wharf with plenty of shopping, restaurants and entertainment at your fingertips

Guest Access:
- The complex DOES require parking passes and wristbands. The complex charges $50/parking pass and limits TWO vehicles per condo. You will need to purchase your parking registration at the front office onsite at Romar Place immediately upon arrival. Wristbands - yellow- these are for all guests ages 13 & above. Red wristbands - these are for all guests 12 & under and will be distributed upon arrival- registration and asked to be returned upon departure. There will be a drop off stand in the lobby for returns. If someone loses their bracelet they can come to the office and purchase another one for $10.00 (debit or credit only). The bracelets are rubber and can fit on the wrist or ankle. The bracelets must be worn at all times while on the premises. Failure in wearing the bracelet will prohibit anyone from using the common amenities.
No parking of trailers, RV's or watercraft allowed onsite.

We had a great vacation. Everything was as described. Location was right on the beach with a huge balcony and amazing view. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Parking was easy and elevators were fast. We could not have asked for anything more!

Condo was clean. Location was great, View was great. Pool is nice. Short walk to the beach. Pictures are deceiving, condo is about half the size as the pictures represent. Beds are noisy. Not enough seating in the LR for a family of 6. As stated in previous reviews, one of the spindles on the balcony is broken.Keep extra close attention to children that could easily fall through and I am sure is a fire code violation for this condo. The garbage can lid was broken, the ceiling fan in the 3rd bedroom is so loud, you can’t sleep with it on. No can opener, so bring one if you plan on opening cans. The faucet in the kitchen comes on by itself, we found if you turn it all the way to the front or back it keeps this from happening. The back sliding door is almost impossible to open, if staying here, the side sliding door is much easier to open. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Overall, the room and location was very nice. The balcony and view of the beach/ocean was incredible! There were a few minor things that could be improved upon such as the water pressure in the master bathroom shower, water pressure in the kitchen sink, updating and adding additional seating in the living room, investing in better quality, mattresses, and larger, and updated TVs in all of the rooms. Overall, the condo was very clean and being a corner unit was definitely a plus. The indoor pool was nice and heated, but was much smaller than expected. The fitness center is laughable overall, I would stay here again because of the cleanliness of the room and the location of the condo, but I do feel like updated furniture TVs, and adding more seating in the living room is definitely much needed.

While the overall appearance looked nice and it was clean, the unit had some age issues. Some of the doors are older and don’t close well, the kitchen sink continuously turns back on after being shut off, the pipes sound as though waters running often when it’s not, and one of the rails on the balcony is completely detached and another is loose. A small child could easily fall through. Other issues were the queen mattresses made awful noises and were not very comfortable, the vacuum didn’t work, the dishwasher wasn’t coming on (but they came and fixed that), it wasn’t well stocked with kitchen utensils and pans (looked like they put whatever older extra stuff they could find in it), as well as limited extra blankets, kitchen towels, etc. The location was great and the pool was well maintained. Romar Place was clean, it just seem to have some age issues.

(1) After arrival Monday 7/27 at 4pm with cart loaded with luggage, the right elevator would not open the door on our floor (5th). We went down and back up with same result. So, we moved to the left hand elevator after going back down a second time. Those elevators are hot in July. When I told the front attendant, he said, “Yeah, that happens a lot. I just go to the next floor and take the stairs down one.” I said can they not fix it? He said, “I don’t know; I’ve never reported it.” I said well could you? (2) Upon arrival to our room we noticed one of the balcony vertical rails was broken out. It had been repaired with a screw that apparently came out. Me and my son-in-law put it back and put the screw back in. My 2 year old grandson was staying with us and had we not seen that rail broken, he could have fell through. (3) The master toilet seat will not stay up. It has to be held up by hand. (4) There’s not an interior door in the place that aligns correctly with the latch. (5) The balcony door is rusted and takes a grown man to open it. (6) The pool needs a fountain or something to cool the water for the hottest part of summer. The pool temperature was not enjoyable.…Otherwise, we had a great time at the beach with my family but will not be back to Romar Place.

Our overall experience was positive but I wouldn’t say it was anything special. Similar to what you’d experience in a long stay hotel : low quality towels, low quality toilet paper, and need to supply your own if you think you’ll have a specific need (salt and pepper, spatula, sharp knife)The living room furniture was extremely old and worn. The back bedroom (closest to the beach) stayed 10 degrees warmer than the other rooms in the condo. A box fan was supplied and that helped a little. The other two bedroooms were fine. The table and chair in the back patio were the nicest part.The property was great (proximity to beach, smooth check in) and equally as dated. The listing mentions a sauna being available but it doesn’t look like it’s worked in years. This was one of the few 3-bedroom places we could find.
