Lazy Dayz has simple rustic charm. Enjoy the view of Lake Chatuge from the decks and small screened porch.
This prowl front cabin is the perfect getaway for couples and small family gatherings.
You will be able to BBQ out on the side deck . Have a boat? There is a covered dock for you to keep the boat in the back yard. DEEP WATER!! There are two bedrooms on the main level with the Master bedroom with a king bed in the loft area. The open loft area also has a single pull out chair/twin sized.

This is a great cove! Quiet and calm water- the house is what we expected- cozy and comfortable. We bring our paddle boards when we come to this lake, so we were able to catch sunrises and sunsets on them just outside the cove.

Relaxing weekend on peaceful Lake Chatuge

Thank you for sharing your lake home with us. It was clean, neat and well stocked with all the necessities. We enjoyed spending time on the dock and paddle boarding the cove.

We had the best time for my motherā€™s 75th birthday. Everything was cozy, clean, and perfect. Robyn and her team were a dream to work with! We will make this a tradition!

Great place to stay

It was obvious the owners still used the place to store a personal boat leaving little room for the renter to park vehicle and boat trailer. Directions were unclear and we parked in the driveway belonging to a neighbor. Very nice home and boat dock but owner needs to revisit their choice of cleaning service, dirty underneath everything. Including beds and dressers..had to call for assistance entering property because code didnā€™t work but very prompt response.

Just as expected

Parking was a little hard to get into with boat trailers so we ended up leaving trailers at a local dock. The check in was simple, house was as expected. House was clean and it was an easy walk down to a very nice deck. Deck has no electric. If you need to charge a boat battery or need light for late/ early fishing bring flashlights and maybe extension cords. Very close to ramp put in.

It was a good stay....but it could be wonderful if a few things were looked into. Cleanliness and beds were really the only issues with this stay. Spiderwebs everywhere on the side porch (grilling area) just needs to be brushed away with broom. It appeared it had not been used or cleaned in ages. Towels need to be refreshed, they had a terrible odor if you used any that were not on the rack ready to use (under the sink or linen closet). The beds were terrible.....we got very little rest. The mattresses need to be changed immediately.

Nice lake home.

We had a great time at the home. The only suggestion is to replace the carpets. Since it is pet friendly there were lots of ā€œaccidentā€ stains on the carpet. It rained one day and the humidity caused the carpet to smell of urine. But other than that it was a great stay.

Lazy Daze

We thoroughly loved the lake and dock. Very convenient boat dock. Iā€™m sorry to say that there were black ants inside and cobwebs. The two downstairs bedroom mattresses were really bad. Family members who slept in those rooms had backaches all weekend. They need to be replaced. The grill was dirty and Iā€™m sure you know there are a lot of rips in the screen on the side porch, bugs and there was a bat in there while we were there. Kitchen was missing several items.

Short getaway

Overall very nice place. Only thing was upon check-in The code advised did not work. Fireplace did not work because it was out of propane. And the grill ran out of propane while cooking dinner one night but the office when contacted did offer to bring out propane that night, but advised it would be okay if they brought it out the next day. Which they did! Management was very easy to work with and tried to accommodate everything. on the door and we had to call office trying to get all

Could not have asked for a more perfect place

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our needs. My best friend and I go on a golf/fishing trip every fall. This year, we decided to stay on the lake and rent a boat. Worked out beautifully because they have a wonderful 2-spot boat dock on Lake Chatuge and we just docked the boat there for easy access to fish the lake. The house is beautifully stocked with everything you need. The beds are comfortable enough. The leather couch in the living room is nice to lounge in and watch some football. The cabin is also very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants, it's also within a reasonable drive of several golf courses, the casino in Murphy. Even Blue Ridge isn't but a 45 min drive away. The cabin really felt like home and we were sad to say goodbye to it. As an aside, the property managers were extremely responsive to any issues that arose during the stay. Had a little trouble with the lockbox on arrival but was remedied in just few seconds after talking with the property manager. Highly recommend this property!

Great stay at Lazy Days!

We had a great week at the Lazy Day house! While the house is showing its age in some places, it was a very comfortable location for a family's annual lake gathering. We very much enjoyed being right on the water and the dock having both sun and shade available. We cooked at home for an entire week and the kitchen was well-stocked (although the addition of pot holders and a whisk would be nice). It didn't matter to our group, but people should know that the 2 bedrooms advertised as each having a queen bed actually only had double beds in them. Overall, we had a GREAT time and would definitely stay here again!

The whole package, relaxation, view and entertainment

This is the second time we have stayed here. The location is perfect. There is a large (2 boat) dock, which adds to the experience. There are a couple of items (for comfort) that need updating, but overall we would stay here again. Super close to town, grocery and gas station. Nice restaurants and the best Antique shop all in Hayesville, right down the road.

Nice place, but not very clean

The property was nice, but not everything was cleaned when we got there. There was sticky stuff like a drink or candy on my nightstand and it looked like the floors had not been swept. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean otherwise. We had to go buy toilet paper. 1 roll isn't enough for 4 people for 4 days, but ingles is a short drive away. The process was easy, getting the key, getting in, etc and a very nice quiet neighborhood.

Just Right

We were lucky to find this property available for five nights late in the summer booking season. Great location tucked into a cove with easy access to the rest of the beautiful lake. The kitchen, although not spacious, is completely stocked with anything and everything you might need for cooking. There are plenty of bathroom towels and extra blankets, etc. Just bring your own lake towels - and donā€™t forget some additional toilet paper and paper towels. A nice bonus was the fun lake floats and toys that were available for our use. Thereā€™s a Dollar General two minutes away and the Ingles grocery in Hayesville (@ 7 mins away) is very nice. Yes, there are LOTS of spiders (and webs) but thatā€™s what you should expect from a wooded area. The house could use some new carpet and some updated furnishings (a newer tv, perhaps) but we really have no complaints about anything, and everything noted by previous reviewers has been addressed since the reviews last fall - including four new Adirondack chairs on the deck. This place was perfect for our stay! Thank you to @LittleBearRentals !

Cozy with easy access to lake

This is a cozy A-frame with plenty of room to move around. The kitchen is quite small, but enough room to move around for 1 person. With 3 rooms and 2 baths this is perfect for 2 - 3 couples. Very easy access to the boat dock and perfect coverage for your boat with plenty of dock left over to lie out in the sun. There were a couple of items I mentioned to the agent and hopefully those will be resolved for the next guest. Chairs on balcony unsafe to use and a knob missing from toaster oven (so used a knife). We were issued a small refund for these items. I'm quite satisfied with the immediate attention we were given when the air conditioner didn't work (could have been a simple fuse?) I would recommend this place and the agency staff were very attentive! Thank you Robyn and Staff!!

Great Getaway

The property was beautiful. Had a great time. Could have been cleaner. Lots of cob webs inside cabin living room and bedrooms. Maybe not visited in a while, but spiders do work overtime in one day. Robyn Allen, the property manager, was the best. Got locked out and she left church to bring us a key to open the cabin. Not many would do that. The area is just beautiful and the neighbors are very friendly and helpful.
