Surrounded by trees, our freshly renovated Chalet Waldeck is a wonderful place for romantic moments in the heart of nature. Wake up in the loft bed with an open view of Bambi and Thumper. Designed in light natural tones, the chalet offers a spacious living area with reading nook and sofa bed — perfect for cuddling in front of the flickering wood-burning stove. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, and ceramic cooktops invites you to enjoy cooking and baking. If you prefer to grill outdoors, you can use the terraces around the house with wooden furniture for outdoor cooking and flower lounging. And should it rain, the chalet’s Yamaha sound system with iPod dock, LED satellite TV, game collection, and mini library ensure perfect entertainment. Have you long been dreaming of a private spa under a clear starry sky? Then you will love your forest sauna with wooden plunge pool. The spruce-needle infusion takes on a whole new meaning here. If you wish, you can enjoy a wellness massage within your own four walls. Simply wonderful. And if adventure calls, you can rent e-bikes on site, book guided ranger tours, or explore the national park by water. Right near our resort there is a canoe rental for paddling tours on the reservoir — on the Rursee, you can easily take the steamboat or charter a wooden sailboat. Chalet Waldeck offers a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator (no freezer), oven with grill and steam function, ceramic cooktop, dishwasher, toaster, blender, kettle, Senseo coffee machine (Nespresso available on request), pots, pans, knives, cooking utensils, dishes, glasses and cutlery, and also features a private sauna in a separate sauna house, a cozy sleeping alcove with loft bed (140×200 cm) accessed by a steep ladder plus a convertible sofa bed, electric wall heating and a wood-burning stove — complemented by a partially covered terrace with gas grill, wooden table and chairs as well as an additional secluded terrace with loungers behind the house.
