The Space:

This is the ultimate beach house. Deck for lounging and the beach is just a short walk away, this is sure to be a prime location for beach lovers.

The living room is decorated with warm, sandy tones and pops of color, making it inviting and mimicking the sandy coastline outside. Enjoy relaxing in the living room while reading a good book or watching a favorite movie on the flat screen TV. When everyone gets hungry, take advantage of the kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a bar island for prep. Or, enjoy dining out at a local restaurant. This home also has a washer/dryer for your convenience, so there’s no need to take sandy clothes home with you.



At night, take your pick of the four bedrooms to get a restful night’s sleep. The primary bedroom features private access to the back deck and an ensuite bathroom with a standalone shower and bathtub.

Beach house on the Bay

The beach house was absolutely beautiful — truly a hidden gem! It had all the essentials we needed, including a toaster oven, crockpot, and blender. Each bathroom was thoughtfully stocked with a hair dryer, and there were plenty of towels provided. My family especially loved having access to both the bay side and the beach toys, grill, and cornhole board. It made our stay even more fun and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house, perfect location

The photos don’t do this home justice! I have always been on the ocean side of the island and was a bit hesitant to stay on the bayside. However, it was absolutely perfect for a getaway with my two dogs. It was very quiet and had plenty of space for my dogs to walk around and smell. The best part of the house is the view. When sitting in the kitchen, you can look left and see the ocean and right, the bay. The kitchen was well appointed as I enjoy cooking, and do so for the full week. There wasn’t a pan or utensil I was lacking. If you are considering this property, stop thinking and book it!

Great locationand access to beaches!!!!But...Not handicap accessible even though pictures show a lift. Vacasa had quick response but owner poor response back to them on lift access. Our family could not climb stairs and we were embarrassed on not being to entertain him in the comfort of the house. We stayed in the breezeway the entire time while waiting for owner response. Would not have booked this property if it was listed as not handicap accessible.Many pots, pans, cutlery and dishes left with food debris when we went to use them. Deck chairs not comfortable or easy to get out of. Looks like this had been mentioned on previous reviews. Many of the chairs with missing screws or arm rests lifted. No outdoor tables for entertainment.Outdoor lights breaker was tripped when we arrived and it took long time to find appropriate breaker box. It is located in pantry if you happen to arrive at night and no lights. Missing the reuseable coffee filter basket for Ninja coffee maker.Drawers in kitchen will pull completely out. Not sure if they are broken, but will likely end up if you are not careful.2nd master shower had a makeshift repair done which didnt stand up and showr flooring cracked. We did let Vacasa know this.Once again, this was a great location, but dont bother if you have handicap family.

Beautiful property, excellent location but…

The dwelling was fabulous and new. All the basics were all there. Now the construction debris was a hazard and the management was not really concerned. after 2 calls and no return call, finally the actual property caretaker was reached and gave just enough effort for concern. On the construction debris was multiple pounds of loose nails, screw and metal cuttings in the sand . The caretaker did attempt to remove the obvious and left a rolling magnet for our future use. In which we removed more multiple pounds of this debris in the sand in and around the dwelling. The private beach was nice , as long as you did not adventure into the water , where multiple mounds of concrete laid below the surface. Overall, this is easily fixable but will call for extreme concern from management to protect their guest from nuisance negligence in safety. I do recommend for all to experience the beauty of this property , just to be aware of the hidden dangers. - Best Regards

Overall good stay!

Overall happy. There are several minimal repairs that would not be hard to fix that needs to be addressed.. the toilet paper holders have fell off in two of the three bathrooms. One drawer in the kitchen and one in the guest bathroom are broken not just off tracks but broken and very aggravating to use. The house is not very elderly friendly. As most beach houses, there are two flights of steep stairs. There is an elevator that would be nice to use but it is private use only. The front door hinges were loose and very hard for our children and elderly parents to open. Needs a bigger dinner table. Also needs better deck seating. Having a hot water shower downstairs was a major plus. It was also great that the parking area was paved. It gave a great place for the kids to play and cook out, etc. We have never rented bayside and was worried about accessing the beach but quickly realized that the bay side private beach area was a major plus with young children! Especially when there were yellow & red flags. Overall, we were happy and would come back. We were very pleased with our fellow beach side renters who allowed us to set up beside them daily. If there were better seating arrangements in and outside I would rate 5 stars!
