'At Last' at Colony by the Sea is located in the sought after Village of Duck. This condo is perfect for small families or a romantic getaway. Located on the first floor in building A, you have the largest deck in the community and a front row seat for ocean views and beautiful sunrises. Only 150 steps gets your toes in the sand!

To keep YOUR costs down, we do not provide cleaning or linen services for our guests staying less than a week. For weekly visits, cleaning is included with your stay. If you decline cleaning services, we ask that you make sure the condo is clean, disinfected and ready for our next guest. Cleaning supplies, vacuum and SWIFFER are at the condo. This is typical for most CBTS rentals.

LINENS ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY. A LINEN PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL FEE OF $100.
FOR OUR GUESTS STAYING LESS THAN A WEEK, CLEANING SERVICES ARE NOT PROVIDED, BUT ARE AVAILABLE FOR A FEE OF $125.

Our condo features a master bedroom with comfortable king size bed, two full baths, bunk beds in hallway alcove. Fully appointed kitchen, two flat screen tvs (LR & MBR), free WIFI, deck furniture (tall bar table with 4 tall adirondack chairs & 2 adirondack rockers), keyless entry system, parking space right in front of unit, a "bistro" on front deck with chairs and table.

Along with the beautiful majesty of the ocean, creamy sands and the great surf of the OBX, this unique, privately managed community enjoys an ocean front pool, tennis courts, playground, outside showers, dune-top gazebos and basketball court. The courtyard area includes grilling stations, picnic tables and plenty of grassy area for kids of all ages to run around and play. A great area to meet new friends and share a meal if you like.

The Village of Duck is a short 15 minute walk where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, spectacular restaurants, water sports, unique shopping, walk the sound side boardwalk for shopping and birdwatching, sip coffee, buy books, take yoga classes and so much more. Park your car and enjoy the freedom of walking everywhere!

Great condo for a couple and possibly 1-2 children(bunk beds were thoughtfully planned in the condo). Jennifer was easy to work with and very communicative on our stay's details. I would highly recommend considering this property for one's next stay in Duck, OBX!

Great place to stay. Very clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked with anything you would need forCooking. The bed (mattress) was really comfy. Communication with owner was super. Very quick to respond. We had a really good time.

Excellent communication from owner, excellent accommodations and perfect location. Highly recommend reading the fine print if purchasing the cleaning package!!! I didnt get to encounter the elusive Sparky, but did find he likes steak and not fancy sandwhich bread. If given the opportunity, will return 10/10

What a delightful place! It is so comfortable and welcoming and feels like you’re in a “home” not a rental. Jennifer was so easy to communicate with and very helpful. The ocean views are amazing! Everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves was provided.

Over the past 20 years that we have been visiting the Colony by the Sea community we have stayed at several units in buildings A, B, and D. This unit was the best by far. Perfect ocean view overlooking the dunes. Inside the space and its furnishings are well thought out, comfortable, and attractive. The kitchen is well equipped and the sleeping accommodations are perfect. Jennifer responds quickly to questions and is so easy to work with. We hope to return to At Last for many years to come.

2nd timing staying at this property! Perfect for our family of 4. Excellent location to the beach, pool, and beautiful ocean view. So many restaurants, shops, activities in Duck, just a walk or very quick car ride away! Core memories made in OBX. Great communication with the owner who made sure our stay was comfortable. 10/10!

Perfect Getaway

Property was great and as the description listed! The location and views were exactly what we were looking for! I had my tween daughter and her friend with me and felt safe with them exploring property and walking back and forth from beach to condo. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway! Duck is quaint town that met our expectations!!

Great condition, perfect location

This condo far exceeded my expectations. The owners have kept the condition of the furniture /bathrooms/kitchen in great shape. I loved the little touches like the brooms on the deck to get rid of troublesome sand, the clothesline to safely hang up our gear, the fly swatters and the ample outdoor space to keep chairs /shoes/etc without crowding the unit. We enjoyed the pickleball lines on the court and loved the proximity to town. We rode our bikes in each day for a meal or snack. Great sunset spot at the end of the neighborhood as well. The owner is a great communicator and very upfront with information. I love the community and appreciated the view.

Great Time

Unit was clean and inviting, close to lots of great restaurants along with easy beach access. definitely enjoyed the deck and catching the morning sunrise. Easy parking and the directions, info and support of the owners was top notch! Will definitely plan another vacation at this location!!

Perfect getaway

Cozy, very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Very very nice and gracious hosts - easy to get along with and thoughtful. We were in town only one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Cold and rainy weather so it was nice to be able to see and hear the ocean from the condo. Would definitely go back.

At Last a place to return to

Amazing getaway experience

Jen and David will ensure your stay is everything and more with excellent communication, an outstanding condo, and suggestions for making the best of your stay! Best Location and incredible Oceanfront

Loved the location! Ability to walk into town. Great place for walks on the Ocean morning and night. Can't get a better location. Had a couple issues but the owners were quick to respond and very accommodating! Duck is a very laid back town with great shopping, good food and lots of live music in the evenings.

Perfect Place at the Beach!

At Last was perfect for our family of four! We loved the quick access to the beach, pool, and downtown Duck. The condo was very nicely decorated, clean, and updated with a beautiful kitchen. My kids loved the bunk beds. The front patio area was also perfect for leaving our shoes and sandy items. Jen was very easy to communicate with. Highly Recommend!

At Last Stay

Great Location! Less than a minute walk to the beach, right by the pool. 15 minute walk to Duck. Condo is perfect size for small family. We loved our stay and would recommend! Jennifer was great!

Amazing

I don’t ever write reviews but felt it was necessary for At Last. Awesome property. As close to Beach as you can get. Pool was very nice. Property was clean and just as described in listing. Linen package is absolutely worth the extra money. Host was amazing as well. Nothing but good things to say.

Dave and I (Jen) live in Fairfax, Virginia and have been making the trek to Duck since we were married in 2001 (Jen has been going since 1966 - well at least to Nags Head). Dave grew up in Buena Vista, VA (by way of Arkansas) and I grew up in Fairfax City. Even though OBX is a little furher from our home than other beaches - it is totally worth it. We hope that you can share our love for Duck and Colony by the Sea!!

There was NO doubt that we wanted to buy a property in Colony by the Sea - it was just a matter of which one. Having lugged suitcases up 3 flights of stairs (and a bunch of other stuff), been so far back we could hardly see the ocean and spending time in condos that were just not clean or homey enough - we finally found the right one!

We love that we are right on the ocean, one floor up and our parking space is right next to the stairs. Coming from the traffic in Northern Virginia, we are MOST happy with the fact that we don't have to drive anywhere!! What a treat.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Duck is very different than the other OBX beaches and other beaches on the East Coast. We like to call it our sleepy little village in the midst of other craziness! Most of the homes down here are SO big, it was hard for us to find a place that was right (and affordable) for just the two of us. I don't even think most people know that Colony by the Sea exists (and we should keep it that way!). Our little place is perfect for a couple, girls/guys weekend and small families. The deck is magnificent - comfy cozy!
