Over 500 sq. Ft. Of living space, with a complete, well equipped kitchen, a comfortable entertainment center, a romantic dining area overlooking the valley and ocean, and a very comfortable one piece murphy bed that can be stored during the day in an attractive mirrored cabinet. The full private bath has a shower and tub. This beautiful condo is located on the 10th floor of the ocean side of the first building in the makaha valley tower complex, very private, but also convenient to the elevator and laundry room. Secure parking is free. All of this, and free WiFi too!

wonderful, relaxing stay

Our time at Makaha Valley Towers was relaxing and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, the beautiful surroundings, and the beaches just a short way away. We would come back anytime!

Amazing accommodations, best kept secret on the west side.

Every time we come to Oahu, we always reach out to Robert and stay in one of his condos at Makaha towers. His units are clean, and equipped with all the living essentials. We love the view from the balcony and the serene atmosphere. We cannot wait to go back and stay at the towers again. Thank you for accommodating us all the time.

No Place Like Paradise

It was truly a lovely stay. The condo/room has a breath-taking view of gorgeous mountains and beaches/ocean. I could have stayed in all day and been happy. For a truly "local" experience, there isn't a better place to stay. The close markets and restaurants are nothing like the "Waikiki Tourist Trap." Save your money and enjoy "real Hawaii!"

Hidden treasure and home away from home!

Bob and family are wonderful hosts! We enjoyed our stay at his comfortable property over spring break in 2014. The apartment came with the best accommodations. It was clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Makaha Valley is situated right next to some of the best kept secrets on the island of Oahu. The beaches are pristine and not crowded. On any given day, you can spot wild dolphins and whales just by standing on the beaches. The Ka'ena point state park provides a panoramic view of the island and it's a beautiful hike you can't miss out on. Tourists usually don't make it up to this part of this island because it's pretty much at the end of the road in Oahu. But if you have an extended stay on the island and want to be away from tourists, definitely check out the west side of Oahu. Bob's vacation property is everything we have hoped for and it's our home away from home. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this wonderful hideaway.

Beautiful view

This condo was beautiful and Bob was extremely helpful and kind. We chose this location mostly on price but it was very nice. I was worried about the murphy bed but it was comfortable. The location is about 20 mile up the shore from the Disney resort in Oalina so it added some travel time to everywhere we went. This was not a problem until we were on the way to the airport to go home. The traffic can get pretty bad between 6-9am. We saw most of the island while we were there and had a wonderful time. We thought we would save money by not eating out, but groceries are also pricey, so be prepared for that. Bob sent us information about the area but we left it at home. I would suggest putting that info in a binder with things like laundry, outdoor closet, and how to find Wi-Fi, and where to see the turtles, and leave it in the apartment so it is available for all the guests. The view from the lanai was awesome on the 10th floor you could see the mountains and the ocean. We were not disappointed.

Amazing month-long stay

Absolutely lovely and spacious studio. Very clean and well-equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and for the beach. Great pool and grill area. I loved working from home here with the beautiful view. Wonderful owner to communicate with. The location, of both the unit within the towers and the towers themselves, could not be better. I can't wait to come back.

Spectacular!!

Beautiful property!! We were very happy and enjoyed our stay. The condo was plenty of space for the two of us. Enjoyed breakfast out on the lanai every morning. The view is absolutely breathtaking with the mountains and ocean. The sunsets were also pretty spectacular. The condo had everything we needed to cook. Especially loved access to the barbecue and all the beach accessories. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Bob and Peggy for use of your wonderful space!

Extremely dated, original unit that needs work and is dysfunctional.

This unit is very dated (mostly original) and is dysfunctional. The bathroom needs lots of work, there are ant traps all over the unit interior, it is extremely difficult to wash dishes in the very tiny double sink and the bright light shines in from the exterior light at night and from the floor to ceiling windows in the early a.m., due to no room darkening blinds on the windows. The a/c ducts also need vacuming/cleaning. We would NOT rent this unit again.

Amazing view from the balcony!

First we 'avoided' these Makaha Towers, when searching for the accomodation for our holiday. We were so glad we booked this! We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated apartment. It felt very cozy. There was evetything you needed. There is a good BBQ place beside the pool as well, which we used almost every day! View from the balcony is amazing! The place is quiet and clean. Really nice beach is only 20 min walk down the street (or 2 min by car). The hosts were very helpful and easy to contact. We would defenitely stay there again!

Bob and Peggy grew up in Louisiana. Bob graduated from LSU with a BS in Petroleum Engineering, with Peggy's help. After three years as a SAC navigator, Bob began a career in the oil and gas business, living in Wyoming and Colorado for the past 58 years.

We purchased our first condo in 1979 after visiting Oahu many times, beginning in 1965. We love Makaha and the Waianae coast because of the climate (less rain and less wind), the mountains and valleys, and the true Hawaiian culture. The beaches are the best on Oahu.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The view of the ocean and Makaha valley from the roomy lanai is glorious, especially as the sun rises over the 2500 foot mountain across the valley. The studio is over 525 sq. ft. of comfort and convenience.
