Makaha Valley Towers has stunning views of the majestic Makaha Mountains and Pacific Ocean from this upper floor unit and is surrounded by 14 acres of lush tropical land.

This affordable and nicely furnished one bedroom, one bathroom with upgraded luxury plank vinyl flooring features stunning sunsets overlooking the ocean from the lanai and dining room, 2 televisions with digital cable (49 inch 4K UHD in the living room and 24 inch LED flat screen in in the bedroom), central air conditioning, free WiFi, Goggle Home and local phone service, a fully equipped kitchen with many extras not expected in a rental unit like a wide variety of spices, plastic cups and plates for picnicking plus a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster,Keurig, coffee pot, pots, pans, bowls, dishes, glasses,blender, cooking utensils, plenty of linens, towels, extra pillows and a hair dryer. We also provide beach towels, small ice chests, boogie boards, snorkel fins, and masks for 2 adults and 2 children plus 4 beach chairs, an umbrella to make your trips to the many beaches easier.

The beautifully landscaped property offers a recently renovated heated saltwater pool, BBQ area with picnic tables, laundry facility on the same floor and 24-hour security.

Enjoy the Paradise Cove Luau located by the new 'Aulani' Disney World Resort, located in Ko 'Olina which is an easy ten minute coastal drive. The convenience of Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Costco, Safeway, Ross, Sports Authority, Restaurants and other conveniences are located in nearby Kapolei.

Recreational activities abound for just about every taste within in short driving distances. Surfers, swimmers, and beach bums can check out the world Famous Makaha Beach just one mile away. Turtle Beach and Yokahama Bay are within minutes. Explorers can venture on to the hiking trails accessible from the condo property in the Makaha Valley. Golfers can experience two of the best 18 hole golf courses on the island-- Kolina Resort and Makaha Valley Country Club. Deep sea fishers can join an excursion at the conveniently located Waianae harbor.

Very nice location, we had a great holiday!

The apartment is very clean, and very well equipped, we did not miss anything. The owner is friendly and available. The complex is safe and the employees are nice. The view is beautiful, the beach too. All was perfect. We recommend this rental !!

Anniversary getaway

The condo was great!!! With everything you need for a vacation. Very clean and well decorated. We were very comfortable and liked we could start our day when we were ready and not rush. Randy was always accommodating to our needs. Loved the views!!!

Great place

Randy was really helpful when was needed, the location is great, the stores are 8 to 15 minutes driving from the condo, beaches are really close. All the staff were friendly. Laundry was really easy to do. We will come back to the same place no doubt.

Extra for beach and surf lovers

Umbrella and chairs supplied were greatly appreciated. We saw a surf competition for children 12 and under on a sunday where all the community was cheering and supporting them.

Beautiful view in a rural setting.

The bed was comfortable. The shower full of pressure. Kitchen had everything we needed. Washer and dryer available on the same floor as the unit. Beach chairs were very handy. Overall it had everything we needed plus the magnificent view.

Five Cheers!!

Beautiful, Comfortable, Relaxing, everything one could possibly want for a vacation in Hawaii. Our family of four had the greatest time at Randy's Condo in Wainae. Just enough away from the bustle of Waikiki, yet accessible. We used every provision in the condo and loved it. Mountains on one side as you sip coffee on the lanai, and the sea also as you turn your head slightly. The beach is 1 mile and a great one. Totally love every aspect of the setting and place.

makaha vacation

Very comfortable condo, and well stocked with the needed items for a vacation stay. Great windows/sliding glass doors that open up to enjoy the air and lanai. Nearby beaches and hiking trails were nice, or a rental car will take you to the rest of the island. Beware the traffic on the return to the condo. It gets quite heavy. Would certainly recommend this for friends and family.

Makaha towers holidays

Hi everyone! Definitely recommend Randy&Taresa apartament to stay. It’s 13th floor with great view! Elevator works smooth and fast,stuff very friendly and helpful.Parking included in price. 4 min. by car to the sandy beach not overcrowded! For shopping recomend Waianae Market. Ocean View Luxury

Tastefully furnished, this condo has everything to make a guest feel welcome and at ease, island style. The view is magnificent and we loved being able to see the ocean while preparing meals in the kitchen. As another Makaha Valley Towers (MVT) owner, I will always be grateful for Randy's flexibility in accommodating us when we needed another place to stay on short notice during one phase of our apartment renovation. We would definitely recommend his apartment to close friends and family, and have done so. We loved being there and would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Stay

We stayed at this lovely property in March. The pictures posted are very accurate as the condo is beautiful. Everything one could possibly need is furnished, which makes it very comfortable for a long term stay. We took the bus as it comes right outside the entrance to the main gate. It is easy to get to all the Kapolei shopping centers; including the new mall and Costco. The beach is within walking distance. A self laundry is available on each floor. We loved the view as it is hard to beat!! Randy kept in touch with us and everything was smoothless. Thanks for a fun and relaxing visit!!

Beautiful condo with an amazing view!

This condo was absolutely delightful. The owners have tastefully decorated the condo with beautiful but comfortable furniture. The condo (including the kitchen) was well-stocked with everything a visitor would need while visiting the island. The Keurig single-serve coffee maker (along with a supply of coffee pods) was a nice treat each morning. The sweeping view from the mountains to the Pacific Ocean was simply stunning, and enhanced every meal we had at the condo. The owner, Randy, was very responsive and thoughtful from my first encounter through my last encounter. My elderly mother stayed with me and told me how much she enjoyed staying at the condo. We both appreciated the grab bars in the shower for her safety while showering. I love staying at the Makaha Valley Towers when I am visiting Oahu because of its beautiful location (at the base of the Waianae mountains yet still very close to the beach), the heated pool, well-kept grounds, and great security. I look forward to staying here again!

Great place to stay with beautiful view

My husband, my nephew and I rented from Randy for two weeks over Christmas. He has just about everything you need for cooking meals, linens, and beach stuff. Condo is very nice and was a good size for 3. The view was beautiful, ever changing with the weather and time of day. I took many photographs. Will treasure them always. My husband found security a bit on the Barney Fife side...therefore, the 4 stars. If you are interested in going to Honolulu a lot this may not be the place for you. There is a bit of traffic in to getting there - will take over an hour each way. If you don't mind driving in traffic then you should be fine. Ko Olina is a good place to go for dining and shopping. 30 minutes away. The grocery store is about 10 minutes away. All in All a good trip.. Thanks Randy for letting us stay at your beautiful condo.

This property in Waianae is truly a "hidden gem" that I would highly recommend to anyone!

The Christensens' condo in the Makaha Towers of Waianae is truly phenomenal! Randy and Teresa have obviously spent considerable effort paying attention to every possible detail making this an incredible vacation property. Any item that could possibly be needed or wanted is readily available. It is extremely "well kept" and inviting upon arrival. Very comfortable and in absolutely great condition. The views off of the lanai are incredible, and words just cannot describe the awesome tradewinds that circulate through the valley with the doors open! Randy was always available to quickly answer questions without delay but not many were needed, as everything was explained in perfect detail prior to my arrival. The property grounds are beautiful and extremely well maintained with an exquisite swimming pool. I was particularly impressed with the common grilling area and ease of use. The drive from Honolulu airport was very easy and the local beaches were everything as advertised. I feel extremely lucky to have found this property available and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. It is truly a "hidden gem" that I did not expect to find. The overall quality is fantastic. If I had to grade it on a scale from 1 to 10, I would easily give it a 50! The Christensens' are making a wonderful property available, and their work to make it perfect is very obvious. I will most definitely be trying to rent this property again as my plans bring me to Oahu repeatedly in the future. This is by far the most impeccably kept property I have seen in all of my travels... Well done, Randy & Teresa!

Exorbitant Charge of 250dollars for Rip

It was my family's 3rd visit to Makaha Valley Towers when we rented Randy's condo this winter. The condo was also nice and clean, with everything we needed during our stay. There were some ants in the bathroom and we saw a roach in the kitchen once, but other than that, the house was almost free from bugs which was a big plus. However, happy story ends here. When we came back home, I received a message from Randy asking what we could do about the rip in the main drapes. We noticed it in the middle of our stay but didn’t think much about it since it was already there and we assumed Randy would know about it. He argued that we're responsible for it because we did not report it to him during our stay. We did not know that we had to inspect every piece of drapes and report it to the owner. After a long list of messages exchanged, he demanded $250. It became a truth game between him and myself. Based upon no evidence, Vrbo decided to charge $250 to my credit card for a damage we did not cause. I strongly advise travelers to either examine every single corner of the house and report even the slightest damages or just buy the damage protection insurance to avoid any trouble. We had an excellent vacation then, but unfortunately it became an unpleasant memory now.

My record speaks for its self. The guest was there for 36 days and notice the rip in the middle of there stay. I ask all guest to look over the unit and inform me of any problems when they arrive, this protect them from any charges. A rip in the floor the ceiling drapes is a problem. To replace these drapes is $1800 dollar's for one side now I need to replace both side because they can't be matched that over $3600. My cleaning person informed me that the rip was not there before they arrived. My cleaning person has been with me for over 8 years, I'm sorry but I'll stand by there word. The rip in the drapes was not the only problem there were other things too. VRBO has gone over all the email and he story of events does not add up. In closing before he was informed about the damage he wanted to rent again next year. I would not rent to him again.

Makaha

The Makaha Towers was an excellent choice for my girlfriend and I. We travel quite a bit and this was our first time using vrbo and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The condos are in a gated lot that literally sit by themselves basically where the H1 (which turns into Farrington hwy) ends on the north east side of the island. It's very quiet and perfect for those wanting to relax and enjoy Hawaii without all the hustle and bustle. The only shortcoming, if you can even call it that, is that it is quite a ways away from the city and a lot of the attractions. The way Oahu is set up, there aren't very many connecting roads so it takes forever to get just about anywhere. To be honest, the location only added a little bit of time as even if you were staying downtown, whatever mileage you make up is negated by the traffic. So basically just know that whenever you stay on oahu, you're going to need a car if you want to see much of the island outside your rental. The Makaha condos, as we realized towards the end of our stay, actually had a very nice beach within a mile or so. Check it out when you stay at the beginning and you may not find yourself driving all over to find lanikai and other cool beaches. Our overall impression of this rental is that it was fantastic and I would recommend it to absolutely anyone. It's clean, everything in the condo was new and updated, the scenery is beautiful, and it has a great price that allows you to indulge a little more while touring oahu. A big thanks to the owner for all of his help and fantastic communication. He is literally available any time which is an invaluable asset on your first vrbo experience.

Awesome views, comfy condo & empty beach!

We had a wonderful time at Randy's condo. The view is breathtaking. There are wallmirrors reflecting the views all over the condo. You are on the 13th floor. The elevators were quick. The mountain view in the back of the condo is beautiful too. We liked to shut off the AC and open up the windows & doors and enjoy the mountain/ocean cross breeze. The beds & pillows were comfortable and we were glad there was a futon in the large hallway to the bathroom. This way we didn't have to unfold the couch at night. The living room was keep looking tidy. I worried about waking the kids walking through to the bathroom at night but it was ok. The small balcony is nice for a cup of coffee. Ice chests, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkels & beach towels were so nice to have. Much better than having to buy all that stuff! Thanks! The kitchen has lots of things to make your stay easy. We cooked in some nights and things like plastic wrap & spices were nice to find. The wifi is fast and we were able to watch Netflix (our own acc) after a busy day touring. We got two notices to sweep the entry way of the condo when there was no sand. Maybe that's just how they keep it looking nice. Someone smoked out on their balcony day after day. I called & called to have someone check it out with no luck. That's when we just opened up the window & doors to get the breeze going so it wasn't really a big deal. There are peacocks on the property! They are beautiful and loud! Randy was available with tips any time we needed him. We ate at Roy's for our 20th Wed annivarery which Randy suggested. We have sweet memories about that evening and our whole stay. Randy was kind to let us reserve the room with three payments instead of one which made our budget happier! ;) We rented a car from Costco, Randy's suggestion, it was great because we could have an extra driver on the car without paying more. Makaha beach, near the condo, was great! Most days it was empty and clean. Some beaches heading closer to town were messy with trash. We saw sea turtles swimming around Makaha! Just awesome! Driving to the sites is longer but as road trip people we loved it. We cruised all over that island with fun music playing. After Randy's tip about heading out & returning late in the day really helped. We got most of our deposit back minus $35 credit-card fee & $25 laundry fee. 2 loads are included, so just sheets. We'd love to return and recommend your wonderful condo!

I wish I knew what unit was smoking because there is NO Smoking on the Lanai's and in our 2 years of ownership this is the first time this had happen. Just to let you know there is No laundry fee unless there is more than 2 loads of laundry. Charges for Credit Card fee's which were stated in our VRBO listing and Rental Agreement. I give discounts to returning guests. I hope we can do business again. Mahalo Randy

Exactly what I was looking for

Description is accurate. Has everything you could possibly need and then some. Lots of beaches accessories. Kitchen well equipment. View is wonderful. Quiet. Property staff was very helpful. Peacocks roam property, so fun! Owner very easy and quick to communicate with. I would like to come again. The only down side is that it is not close to tourist activities, if that is what you’re looking for.

Million dollar view outside of the big city

We had a great stay. The beaches are beautiful around makaha. And Randy's place is clean with unbelievable views of the mountains and ocean. He has everything you could possibly need. Also, a great salt water pool to swim. The area down from the property has quite a lot of transient people and at times with kids it can feel unsafe. However the towers are isolated up in the hills and have some amazing security that monitor the property. Also, expect long drives to honolulu or anywhere else on the island in bumper to bumper traffic at times. Makaha valley is quite isolated on the west coast, so if you are looking for an area with little to no tourists: this is it! It is the real hawaii experience.

Delightful Stay

We have been staying in Makaha for the last two of many visits to the Island. This was a wonderful month and we found Randy to be very delightful to work with and was very attentive to any questions we had. He surprised us on our last day with a call to wish us well and hope we had a great visit. Will look forward to staying again! Thanks!!

Anniversary trip

We spent two weeks in this beautiful condo. Everything we would need was provided. If you are looking for local rural Hawaii you found it. Cant wait to come back next year for two weeks

The Leeward Coast of Oahu is truly Hawaiian, away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu, but close enough to visit Pearl Harbor, the Punch Bowl, Bishops Museum, the USS Arizona Memorial, the Flea Market at Aloha Stadium. Good food and big waves on the North Shore, all within 60 minutes.

The view of the mountain across the valley as the sun rises is a joy we love to share with each other and those that come here as our guests. Or a 3 minute drive or 30 minute walk brings us to a beautiful Makaha beach where the green sea turtles come daily to bask. A great golf course a few miles away.
