Jennifer and Rhonda were great. They were responsive and communicated well. The property was clean and it lived up to expectations from the posting. There are nice little touches throughout the home such as ambient lighting and scent sticks. We really enjoyed the use of the kayaks on the lake. All-in-all a great stay - we'll be back!

Hi, I’m Jenifer. I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and have lived in the Phoenix area for nearly 40 years. I’m newly retired and love spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, playing pickleball, and working in the yard.

Being a host has always been a dream of mine. After staying in many short-term rentals over the years, I often found myself thinking, “If I were a host, I would do this.” Now I finally get the chance to put those ideas into practice and create a place where guests can truly relax and enjoy their stay. Hosting this home is truly a dream come true for me.

I absolutely love spending time in the White Mountains and being away from the hustle and heat of the Phoenix area. For the past few years I’ve made it a tradition to stay here for about five weeks during the summer, and it’s something I look forward to every year.

One of my favorite things is taking early morning walks when the air is cool and the pine trees are quiet and peaceful. I also enjoy hiking, playing pickleball, and spending time at the beautiful local golf courses. Sometimes the best moments are the simplest ones—relaxing outside, enjoying the tall pines, and stretching out in a hammock with the fresh mountain air.

What makes this home stand out is the attention to comfort and thoughtful details. I’ve tried to create the kind of place I always wished for when I stayed in short-term rentals myself—comfortable, welcoming, and equipped with the amenities people appreciate when they’re away from home.

The home has been refreshed with a focus on a clean, cozy, and slightly elevated feel so guests can enjoy a relaxing mountain retreat without giving up the conveniences they’re used to. The kitchen is well stocked and includes a premium Nespresso coffee machine for slow mornings. The home also offers modern conveniences like an EV charger, comfortable beds and linens, a gas fireplace for cozy evenings, and spaces designed for relaxing after a day exploring the White Mountains.

My goal was to create a place where guests can truly settle in, unwind, and enjoy the mountain atmosphere while still having the small luxuries that make a stay feel special.
