Cozy cabin in the woods. Very clean and comfortable. Great location. Had all the amenities we needed. Hosts were very responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed this cabin and the surrounding property. Especially loved the attached screen porch, trails, and nearby amenities. We spent time on Madeline Island and enjoyed local restaurants, plus took in a powwow over the fourth of July weekend right down the road.

Stayed in August 2026. Fabulous stay with kids! Our kiddos are 11 & 9. We brought up an air mattress, twin size, and it fit perfectly upstairs beside the queen bed. Our stay was cozy in the woods and quiet. We all loved the cabin and communication was great! Can’t wait to come back!Thanks again,The Greens

What a great rental! It was above and beyond what was in the listing, amazingly clean, spacious, had supplies and gorgeous. We (two couples) stayed here and we never felt crowded, we each had our own space, and we were able to cook many meals. The location is superb; quiet and secluded, but so close to Bayfield and all the other attractions of the area. We ventured out to sea kayak, hike, go to town, and more. We even had a member of our party with a broken foot and there were no issues, everything was accessible and easy to deal with. The host, Jessica, was amazing to deal with and so responsive. Even when we told her about the broken foot, she sent accommodations and suggestions. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Oh, and the towels and pillows - OMG! I took a picture of the towel labels and need to get me some of those! Forgot to get the pillow brand, so if the owner sees this, please comment with pillow brand - amazingly comfortable!

We Absolutely loved our stay at this property. Completely nestled in the beautiful woods, this adorable cabin just makes you feel like a warm hug. The screened in deck on the back is such a wonderful surprise and the kitchen allows you to cook meals and enjoy them at "home". Visit the beach just a short walk from the house to enjoy the view of the Apostle Islands. There are hiking trails nestled into the entire development with entrances close by to head down into what seems like a beautiful secret world. When you want to go out, downtown Bayfield is just a short trip down the road. Highly recommend the Bayfield Inn rooftop for lovely views and good food. Take a stroll down the dock to watch the ferry come in, then enjoy some delicious ice cream while sitting in the lake front park. Was the perfect evening. Highly recommend the Lake Shore trail at Meyers Beach. It is worth the 4.5 mile round trip hike to see the Lake Superior Caves, they are amazing to see. We also saw people kayaking into them if you enjoy that. We enjoyed our stay so much and highly recommend this beautiful property!

The property inside was spotless. Perfect location. Not much for cookware, plates and dishes, or silverwear. Very steep path to front door with nothing to hold onto. Should be checked. Also no information about WiFi ect. They indicated this was all in the booking information which we had no access to connect our phones for service. The hot water did not work for 2 days. We contacted the owner and someone came that day to fix. The fuse was not on but the dishwasher out of order. Probably turned the fuse off for the dishwasher and did not turn back on. Good for adults but children would be hard as there is no yard and the trees and foliage cover the whole house.

Hi Jennifer. We're sorry you're disappointed with your stay. We understand how the mishap with the water heater has a big impact. We were grateful for your understanding as we worked hard to get it fixed as soon as we were made aware of the issue. We did send the guest guidebook to you before check in which had all the information for you including WIFI. Sorry you missed that! I know you mentioned using VRBO was new and understandably there's a learning curve. The path to the home is not very steep, and we would hate for other future guests to have a wrong impression. We will be placing wood chips down that may be helpful. There is also full set of cookware and plenty of brand new silverwear. Hope you have a great rest of your summer!
