Great Location

Walking distance to the private Donner Beach. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean and spacious. Would stay here again!

Donner Lake

The house was perfect for our visit to Donner Lake. It is on a quiet street and the neighborhood is great for walking. The public beach is a great way to spend the day and the Little Truckee ice cream shop is a must. The house had everything we needed for a great stay.

Fantastic Stay at Donner Lake

The house was spacious and a perfect "base camp" for our week in Tahoe/Donner. We hiked the 7 mile trail around Donner Lake and discovered the perfect beach to come back to later in the week - China Cove. Great kitchen where we cooked most nights; Truckee dining is impossible (restaurants are short-staffed and by reservation only). Would definitely stay here again.

Nice home in great location

The home was nice and comfortable. Walking distance to the lake (west end beach) and the pub. Short drive to the market and other restaurants. A short drive to downtown truckee and Tahoe Donner. The beds were super comfortable and the home had a nice, spacious layout. Would recommend.

Sparkling!

I have rented in the West End since I was a child with my parents and this was my first time at this particular cabin. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable and spacious. Look forward to returning!

Perfect for the family!

In the past I have rented several cabins. This cabin was cleaned well. I would of liked to see another refrigerator in the garage to help with a weeks worth of food but overall I would recommend this cabin to any family.

Better than expected

Home was very clean - we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. Spacious deck off the dining and living room and a quiet yard with chairs, great for reaxing! Kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of bath towels, soap, tp and shampoo. Darling neighborhood with friendly neighbors!

Donnor lake cabin

We stayed at this beautiful cabin on Donner Lake over the 4th of July weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The cabin was absolutely gorgeous—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and so well stocked with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. There were tons of fun activities in the area, from paddle boarding and kayaking to enjoying the festive fireworks over the lake. We loved having such a cozy place to come back to each evening. The kitchen had everything for cooking, there were games and comfy spaces for relaxing, and the hosts really thought of every detail. We can’t wait to come back—highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect getaway on Donner Lake!

Great place

This was a great place with lots of room. The house was nice and clean, and Turnkey was very responsive and easy to deal with. The loft was very cozy - a great place to hang out and watch TV. Our only issue was that someone forgot to turn the hot water heater up, so we had a couple of cold showers before we solved the problem.

Lovely home

This home is fully stocked and very comfortable and clean (even the garage was immaculate). Beds were comfortable, and carpets were free from the plague of typical rental home stains. We were short towels in one bathroom, and Turnkey immediately called us back and pointed us in the direction of more towels. This home fit a family of 4 plus grandparents perfectly. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for families!

This amazing cabin was perfect for our two families (4 adults, 3 kids). It's located in a nice neighborhood near Donner Lake (we'd love to come back in the summer!) and just a short drive to Safeway and downtown Truckee. We skied at Boreal which was convenient - about 15 minutes away - and perfect for our kids. The living area is open and spacious and the kitchen is fully stocked so we were able to enjoy home cooked meals our entire stay. The kids all slept in the loft area which they loved. The backyard was nice and safe for playing in the snow also. The rental process was super easy. We'll definitely stay here again!

We spent the last week of December here (with the rest of the Bay Area) and really appreciated the back door access to Sugar Bowl and Truckee. The house was filled with modern amenities and facilitated some good family time around the dinner table. Highly recommended!

Wonderful house! Will stay again

We stayed at this house this past Labor Day weekend with 3 families, all who have young children. Each family had their own room with enough space to put a pack and play. The older children loved the upstairs tv room. Lots of room to play, fully stocked kitchen (with an abundance of wine glasses!), very clean accommodations. Only downfall is the stairs with the little ones running around but we will bring baby gates next time. It was a short 10 minute walk to the beach and we had such a fabulous time. Will stay here again in the future.
