The Space:

Spend your next family ski-cation at this spacious townhome located between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Featuring soaring ceilings, top-of-the-line amenities, and comfortable furnishings throughout, this home is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts who want to enjoy the mountains year-round. This wonderful getaway includes a well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar, an adjacent dining room with seating for eight, an inviting living area with a gas fireplace, and a lower-level media room with a large, flatscreen TV -- a great place for the kids to tuck themselves away for a little while! In the summertime, dine al fresco on your furnished deck, complete with a gas grill, while your private, outdoor hot tub can be used throughout the year to soothe those trail-weary muscles. For a bit of fun indoors, an arcade gaming system has recently been installed for some throwback videogames that everyone can enjoy!



WHAT’S NEARBY

This townhouse is just a short walk from the ski bus that runs between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, with additional access to four of Utah's greatest resorts, Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, and Brighton, all of which are within 15 miles of this home. If you need to stock up on ingredients and other essentials, you’ll find a Smith's grocery store just a half-mile from your front door. And when it's time to head into the big city, downtown SLC is only 18 miles northwest.

We had a great stay, the townhouse was spacious and clean. The master bedroom was cold, and the master shower definitely needs new caulking. That being said, we would definitely recommend the townhouse.

Great ski house for friends and family

Loved the deck, hot tub and grill. Very close to mountains and shopping. Safe area. Lots of bed space and bathrooms. Would definitely rent again.

Great stay near both canyons!

Fantastic location near both canyons! If you want to explore both sides this is the spot. Comfortable space, fun entertainment spaces, and easy access to garage for snow equipment.

Great Cottonwood Ski Location

The condo comfortably slept our 8 family members. The location was amazing with a short drive to the ski resorts and close to the shops and restaurants too. The hot tub was too small for our large group but otherwise was a great place to spend a week.

Perfect!

We came for a few day vacation but my brother ended up in ICU so we ended up mostly at the hospital and didn’t get to enjoy this great property as much as we would have liked. I can say the hot tub was great, the king bed in the master bedroom was my best nights sleep traveling and the hot water and shower pressure was perfect. The place was very clean, well stocked and a good central location for us. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place

We stayed here in the summer. The WiFi didn’t work well in the MBR and the kitchen could use some more supplies (measuring cups and spoons, larger cutting board and baking sheet), but overall a good place to stay. I wish they had lowered the a/c a couple of hours before we arrived— it did take a while to cool down, but it worked well. Grocery store is very close.

Clean and spacious home!

This home was perfect for our group of 9, there was plenty of room for everyone. We also noticed that the house was nice and clean. We loved the hot tub and also liked that the kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have needed! The only suggestion that we would have is to stock the home with a few more towels. Other than that, our stay was AMAZING! Thank you for such a great home to spend our weekend at!

Comfortable in every way

Lots of space, lots of towels (even spa towels), plenty of laundry and DW pods, and bathroom amenities. All we needed in the kitchen. Grocery store down the street. PS For the caretakers-iron didn't work (borrowed from a neighbor as we were there for a wedding), under kitchen cabinet lights and microwave light out so stove/prep part of kitchen dark. Easy fix.

July 4 in Cottonwood Heights

The 4 BR, 3.5 BA and two car garage home was plenty spacious, comfortable and mostly well equipped for our stay. The Hot Tub was quite functional and very clean too. Overall it is an attractive home and we are grateful to the owner(s) for sharing it with us. The location was convenient for freeway access and easy to find. Also the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There is a neighbor with a noisy streetbike but you could tell he layed off the throttle until he got to the main street. Very considerate. I'm told the kitchen could use a casserole dish. Also the amazing gas range was only used sparingly because it is not vented outside. Always best to vent gas appliances outside because of the unhealthy gasses from combustion. The home's AC was adequate but it took some ingenuity to get the upper floor to cool off at night in the middle of summer. Typical for a multi level home. Overall we were very pleased with the home and had a very nice stay in SLC. The gas BBQ, Hot Tub and comfortable beds are crowdpleasers!

Three Star Property, Five Star Responsiveness

Let me start by saying I would stay at this property again. From my experience, this is 3 star property. It is worn, and everything from mechanicals (doors, fixtures, hinges, drawers, beds, dressers, fans, etc.) to appearance (paint, carpet, deck, etc,) to spiders in the basement rooms, needs attention or updating. This is a high traffic property where it is cleaned between stays (and the cleaning was done well) but overall maintenance seems to be done on an exception or complaint basis. The issues we had were addressed immediately and with courtesy and capability. Patricia and Marlon were great! Their 5 star responsiveness bring this experience up to a 4 star overall rating. The neighborhood is safe, very nicely maintained and was in a perfect location for us. We were hiking in the canyons and it was ideal. In summary, this is a great place to stay and the price matched the experience.

Great option for skiing

House is as advertised, but a few details you should know in case it matters to you: 3 bedroom are upstairs, one is in lowest level. this was a pain with our kids upstairs and us in lowest level- 2 flights of stairs. the downstairs is also much colder than the other floors, which is normal but annoying. the upstairs bedroom with the twin beds has three twin beds. the 2 futons are in a TV room in lowest level. Overall, it was very comfortable and the hottub was nice to have. It doesn't maintain its nice temperature when you are using it in winter, (started at 104, couldnt get beyond 101 with 4 adults in it and uncovered) but perhaps that is to be expected? the kids didnt seem bothered by it. easy access to Snowbird (18 min). nice to have basic spices and oil and lots of dishes. only negative- you have to call an 800# to talk to someone, and it had long wait times. lame.

We appreciate your feedback and welcome any opportunity to improve. We have suggested a space heater to the owner for the downstairs. Our hot tub is serviced frequently and does lose a few degrees when uncovered; please note the temperature never exceeds 104 degrees. Thank you!

Great base for skiing, hiking

We liked the proximity to skiing, hiking and nearby airport and downtown dining. It was a perfect home! Well stocked with basic items in kitchen. Hot tub was perfect after ski days!
