Situated in the beautiful coastal town of Edisto Beach, this spacious townhome is the perfect place to bring your friends and family for an unforgettable vacation.



Enjoy the shared pool and hot tub for an afternoon dip, work up a sweat at the gym, or engage in some playful competition on the tennis or volleyball courts. For golf enthusiasts, there's also a golf course on-site. With convenient access to the beach, you'll be able to take advantage of the South Carolina sun whenever you'd like.



The spacious living quarters are designed for your total comfort, and the riverfront deck is perfect for leisurely mornings spent with a cup of coffee in hand. When you aren't dining out, cook amongst the granite countertops and sprawling breakfast bar in the kitchen. Serve your creations at the wooden dining table.



A washer/dryer and central air-conditioning complete the list of amenities that make this the perfect getaway.

The location is great. Good size kitchen, living room, and dining room. Plenty of dishes and good enough pots and pans to get by. Two of the bedrooms are large with bathrooms, the third bedroom is small and doesn't have easy access to a bathroom without going through a bedroom. Only negative is the mattresses are terrible. Oh and the amenities pass is the yellow fob on the house key, there was a little confusion with that. Also not sure where the third pool is located. I would stay again after a mattress upgrade.

The house was great, clean with plenty of extras (blankets, dishes, garbage bags, etc.) the pools, playgrounds and amenities were very nice. The only negative was the check in process. The text I received the day before check in should have provided the address to the office where the keys were. We got to the house after a long, long drive with our grands and had to go back off the island to the office to get the key.

Lovely Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Egrets Point 492. While there was some minor cleanliness issues with dirty floors and crumbs/chips on top of refrigerator, the house had plenty of amenities to make our stay enjoyable. We would come back to stay here. Egrets Point was close to the pool and main gate, which made fun readily accessible. We had a lot of fun here, just would like to see a little more attention to detail with preparing for the new guests. We’ve been to Egrets Point the last two years and had a wonderful time. I’d highly recommend Edisto Beach to anyone looking for a great time in a small-scale location and family-friendly environment.

The check in process was unclear and I had to be directed by the property manager of the Wyndham hotel had to direct us to the Vacasa location to achieve the check in process.

Clean, great location, not comfortable

This place is spacious, clean and in a fantastic location. The amenities are a huge plus. The only negative about this place was how uncomfortable it was. The living room couch and rocking chair were broken and terrible to sit on. All of the beds were hard which made sleeping difficult. Definitely not as relaxing as we hoped for.

First impressions

Arriving at a beautiful area, with that “ back home” feeling. The staff was outstanding and the home was in a lovely setting with a view one would love to see every day. The living room furniture needs replacing and the mattresses were unbelievably hard, making a good night’s sleep impossible. However the decor and other furnishings were lovely. The “ third bedroom” however was more of a storage area with a trundle bed and without a closet or room to move around.

Edisto Island -Vacasa vacation great!

We loved our immaculately clean condo and the surrounding lagoon and resort. Everything was lovely. The three pools were each unique, clean and cool. When we called someone about a concern, they had staff there w/i ten minutes. They young man was friendly and took care of the situation. It was a most relaxing wonderful time and the ocean was so close. - Less than a mile away with many easy access points. The place was as good as the pictures looked. We finally did see one alligator in the lagoon lazily make its way to a little island for sunning. Before going, we were a little worried the place might really be full of snakes or alligators, but we learned Edisto Island is a very high-end resort, best kept secret Island full of beautiful homes, slow moving streets with dog-walkers, golf-carts and families. You will lose track of time here!

Nice beach townhome

Overall, we had a good stay. It was clean, spacious, and in a good location. We loved playing putt-putt and at the really nice playground around the corner too. Downsides were a very clogged master bathtub/ shower and a musty smell to the home. They did have air purifiers, but I'm not sure they helped a ton. Also- this is a small detail, but most homes I've stayed in have sugar, tea, or coffee supplies offered. There was nothing, but Truvia. We had already planned to bring our own coffee anyways, but I was annoyed to find no sugar packets which I had mistakenly assumed would be there. So be sure to bring your own if you stay here!!

Not Great

The location of the home was perfect for access to the beach and pool for kids. However, the home was filthy. I have a 3 and 2 year old and their feet were black just walking on the floors of this condo. There also were dirty towels and dishes we had to clean before using. I had to purchase my own cleaning supplies to re-clean this condo. There were dead insects smashed on the wall and floors and nails sticking out of the floors where the doors close and coming down the steps. This is just the beginning of it. The condo needs lots of TLC.

Vacasa communication was very goodNot so great stuff:Poorly appointed kitchen for cooking. We had tp buy pans and knifes but you could easily bring your own.Bad stuff:The fridge reeked of fish. The freezer was almost unusable as the smell was permiating things. We went ahead and boight ice and stored it in ziploc bags.You have to like a very very firm bed to sleep here. I mean we are talking concrete levels of firmness. Every single bed was awful. I hate to even give a 3 star rating because everything else was fine but they were actually this bad that it really kind of ruined the stay.With that said if you are ok with extreme firm sleeping arrangements then this would be a none issue for you. Overall it was a great option last minute but we wont be back to this particular unit. We would definitely do Vacasa, VRBO, and Wyndom all again as that part was all a lovely experience.

Could use a little maintenance

Great and comfortable stay! Tastefully decorated, good kitchen and bedrooms. The one upstairs guest shower/toiled area is teeny! But at least the sink is separate which helps. The master bath drain is slow and needs some drain-o (my husband was ankle-deep), but that's an easy fix. Also could use some detail cleaning where there's a mildew stain in the cracks, but overall clean. The rental was a bit musty smelling when we first walked in, and two air purifiers were running, but that may be due to summer humidity. Maybe it's an island thing??? After a few minutes we didn't notice it. Bathroom doors have peeling paint. A little touch-up here and there, especially around the showers and on the bathroom doors will go a long way.
