Idyllically situated, the Pletzerlehen is far from traffic noise yet in close proximity to the German High Alpine Road—one of Germany’s most popular vacation routes. Spacious and high-quality vacation apartments with balconies and private bathrooms in each bedroom, combined with attractively designed outdoor areas, offer an ideal starting point and a haven of peace for your vacation. Built in 1387, the Pletzerlehen stands as a testament to the first wave of settlement in the Berchtesgadener Land region. Between 2016 and 2018, the Pletzerlehen was thoroughly modernized and redesigned. As part of this project, the vacation apartments were renovated to the latest standards and an elevator was installed. The original farmhouse parlor, dating from 1748, was preserved in its original condition and now serves as a cozy lounge and conference room. Enjoy your vacation in a historic building offering a high standard of living.
Relax and enjoy the Alpine coziness and ambiance. You’ll have 80 square meters of living space and a private panoramic balcony at your disposal. Two separate bedrooms with box-spring beds, each with its own bathroom featuring a bathtub with a scenic or starlit view and a separate, floor-level shower, offer plenty of privacy, even when traveling with friends and family. A fully equipped built-in kitchen and a spacious living area with a sofa arrangement leave nothing to be desired. Natural materials such as hand-hewn wood and natural stone ensure maximum comfort during your vacation. This is our take on Alpine style. Of course, our beautifully designed outdoor areas are also at your disposal—during the day for sunbathing or in the evening for a relaxing glass of wine. Missing a farmhouse for that true Alpine style? No problem! Just a short distance away is our new, Alpine-style free-range barn. The inn offers accommodation for five of the endangered dwarf cattle. For two guests, one bedroom is available; the second bedroom can be used for an additional fee. An extra bed is available upon request from the landlord.
