With a private pool and hot tub, a resort-style backyard complete with an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and gazebo, this is the kind of place where you never want to leave — and you don't have to.

Every Coast to Cactus home is professionally prepared with hospitality at the forefront. You’ll arrive to a space stocked with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay, including high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, fully equipped kitchens, complimentary coffee, bath essentials, and freshly laundered linens and towels.

Escape to Moonbase Ranch

This 2,800 sq ft hilltop ranch sits behind a grand brick-and-timber entryway and opens into a vaulted, open-concept living space anchored by a brick fireplace and a wall of sliding glass that leads straight to the pool deck. Inside you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops, leather recliners around a big smart TV, formal dining for six, and four bedrooms — including a primary suite with stone-walled en-suite and three additional rooms that sleep nine comfortably. Outside is where this home really shines: a freeform pool and separate covered hot tub, a built-in BBQ kitchen under a string-lit pergola, a fire pit with Adirondack seating and panoramic sunset views, and a hillside gazebo — all on a private lot with a driveway that fits 9+ cars.

Located just 30 minutes from downtown San Diego, you're close to everything — Sycuan Casino, Mount Helix Park, Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, local craft breweries, and the beaches of La Jolla and Coronado — while still feeling a world away.

By Booking this home, all guests must agree to the following House Rules and Booking Policies:

1. Rental Agreement & Guest Screening: By moving forward with this reservation, a rental agreement must be signed by the primary guest. You give permission to the property manager to verify your identity and check criminal databases to confirm the reservation. Verification requires uploading a valid ID, Drivers License, or Passport, along with a self photo of the primary reservation holder. Confirmed reservations are conditional and may be cancelled pending verification results.
2. Check-in is at 4 pm. Check-out time is any time before 11 am. You're welcome to request an early check in or late checkout, subject to availability. We are unable to confirm availability until 24 hours prior to arrival or departure.
3. Parties, events, or excessive noise are not allowed. Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours from 9PM-9AM. Violations after our initial warning may result in your removal from the property. We are located in a residential community and, although this is a vacation destination, it's home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and peaceful environment.
4. We do not allow smoking of any kind anywhere on the premises; including the use of e-cigarettes and marijuana. Those found in violation will incur a $500 cleaning fee.
5. Pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises, unless with written permission from your host. If pets are found to be on property, a $500 fee will be charged.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests recognize that they may personally purchase insurance to protect themselves in such events.
7. We understand accidents happen, so if there is any accidental or intentional damage caused to the home, please let us know prior to your departure.
8. This property may have video surveillance in outdoor public spaces to ensure the safety and security of all guests. There are no cameras inside the home. Noise meters may also be present in and around the property to ensure quiet hours are followed. We will only receive a notification of a noise event if the noise decibel threshold is exceeded. Please try to keep the fun at a respectful decibel level during the day, but at night we ask for no loud noises after 9 pm — if this sounds like something that will not work for your group, our property might not be the right one for you.
9. Guests are prohibited from carrying or otherwise possessing a firearm at any time on property grounds, including carrying firearms in an open or concealed manner. This policy applies to all types of firearms.
10. Occupancy is limited to the number of guests you indicate on your reservation. Any additional guests or visitors must be approved by your host.
11. Any items left behind can be sent back for a handling fee of $25 plus the cost to ship and must be prepared before the item will be sent.
12. Have fun, and please respect the home and host!

• The garage is locked and not available to guests
• The primary bathroom has a sink that is currently not operational. There is a second working sink.
• The front and sides of the home are monitored by security cameras. There are no camera present inside the home or in the backyard.
• A Note About Our Location: This home sits on a hilltop surrounded by natural hillside and open space — that's what makes the views and privacy so special, but it also means you're sharing the neighborhood with local wildlife. It's not uncommon to spot coyotes, rabbits, lizards, the occasional rattlesnake, or other critters around the property, particularly at dawn and dusk. Insects like spiders and crickets may also find their way indoors from time to time — it comes with the territory out here. We recommend keeping doors closed when not in use, supervising children and small pets outdoors, and being mindful of your surroundings when walking the property at night. None of this should keep you from enjoying the backyard — just be aware that you're a guest in their neighborhood too.
• Pool and backyard amenity availability & conditions are subject to severe inclement weather. During this time, heavy downpours, flooding, dust storms, and wind debris may affect the operating condition of these amenities. As a result, debris may collect at the bottom of the pools and spas. Pool service providers visit the property weekly for scheduled cleaning, but daily service is not provided. Backyard furniture and other outdoor amenities may also be affected. Our team will make every effort to provide these amenities in the best condition possible, but we may not be held responsible for delays in amenity availability due to acts of nature.
