Welcome to Casa Cerro-my incredible chic, high-tech modern villa in San Diego! This stylish place to stay is perfect for families and group trips. Its open and airy layout can accommodate up to 12 people.

This completely remodeled home is furnished with all the luxuries of home and more that is powered by an iPad for you to use. I love technology. But don't worry, you don't have to use it to power up the house... everything has a traditional switch/remotes if you choose.

There is a game room with a pool table and foosball table with TVs & excellent sound (SONOS) throughout the home & outside ;) that I just love to sit & watch movies or listen to music.

The office has a whiteboard to draw up your next big idea.

All the rooms have subtle touches of art throughout from my personal collection that I have created and curated from local artists that I absolutely love.

If you like games, you will love the pool table I've rebuilt with my hands to a foosball table that is just flat-out fast. If that's not your style, don't worry; there are plenty of board games, like apple to apples, cards against humanity and can't forget about monopoly (gotta love the classics).

Sure, eating at the finest restaurants can be fun. But sometimes we all need a nice home-cooked meal, right? That's why this kitchen is fully stocked with the right equipment you'll need to cook you and your family a nice dinner.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire home. This will include the driveway and back patio. Plenty of street parking and a driveway.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A LOW CAR, THE DRIVEWAY IS STEEP. SUGGESTED TO PARK ON THE STREET.

Other things to note
A private hot tub/pool will have additional fees to heat up.

The villa is equipped with exterior cameras and a doorbell to maintain a secure premise. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside or rear of the villa.

Extra fees apply for pool/hot tub gas heating.

Really liked all of the space the home had and the hot tub was great! Host was quick to respond with any questions we had which was great! We had an awesome time! Loved the location being only 20 mins from the airport and the Marine Base! Thank you for memories! :)

Fully stocked

This kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need and everyone enjoyed the hot tub and pool at the end of each day. It was clean and Paul was very quick to respond with any questions we had. It is a beautiful home with very comfortable beds. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and close to everything we had planned.

Property was clean and accomplished all the fun we could handle. Best location 20 minutes or less to everything! Then get to come home and relax in heated pool or amazing hot tub in a lush tropical garden AMAZING

Great getaway

Pool was amazing and relaxing to come home to at the end of an exciting day. Fuse ball and pool table were great for the kids. Massage chair was heaven!

Eat Gather Love, San Diego new franchise training.

The place was lovely, a perfect stay especially for people with kids that really want to utilize the property. They were a few things that went wrong, but I feel confident that the owner of the property will have them remedied before the next renters and he was very pleasant and cooperative to deal with. We will stay here again!

our stay

Our stay was great. There was just a couple of things I felt could have been better. We were 20 minutes early and had to wait outside to enter. The house was ready so I felt there was no reason why we couldn't have entered. When traveling you can't control things to the minute. Another thing was the paperwork said for us to sweep the floors but the broom they had was in great need to be replaced. Other than that, the house was perfect.

Paul answered all questions immediately. The kitchen and bathrooms were very nice and were all stocked with everything we needed. Even though we did not use the pool, it was nice and clean. We did use the hot tub and it was great. There was some work being done on the house while we were there due to rain damage so the garage was boarded up and not the best looking from the street. If your family likes to sit down to a meal together, there is not a dining room table in the house but there is a large island in the kitchen with stools. The back yard, pool area, was very nice. All bedrooms are on the second floor so anyone would need to be able to climb stairs. We enjoyed our week together very much and the house is close to many attractions. For those who like to watch tv in bed before going to sleep, there is only 1 tv upstairs in the master bedroom and 2 downstairs in the living room and by the pool table. Overall, the house was very comfortable for our family of seven.

Caution

The place was a lovely place to stay, but be aware that they are very strict in regards to quiet hours. I also would like to mention, the listing has a lot more rules that were sent to us after the booking. This place has a temperature lock on the AC, we went on a fishing trip and we were burnt to crisp and we kindly asked to see if we can lower the air conditioning, with a reply saying that the AC is locked. One other thing I would like to mention would to be cautious about fraud. We were messaged that the owner would be making claims on damaged items and we were certain we left the place in good shape. Luckily I purchased insurance, my advice to future renters is to make sure to take photos when you get there and when you leave. Overall place is nice, make sure you stay quiet, and be cautious when renting.

I can't say I'm surprised with the review. Where to begin? Quiet hours start at 10 pm; this isn't a place to throw loud parties till 1 am every night. I gave the guest several warnings. So yes, if you plan to throw late-night parties, I kindly ask you to find another place. The A/C was set to a range. While I understand being burnt is not fun, the A/C is smart home controlled and did get the guests desired temperature once they got home; it runs when guests are home. When I started to claim excessive cleanup of bottles, spills, and stains on the couches, cushions, & towels, the guest began to respond with random complaints about things and told me I didn't leave my review yet. It's unfortunate to result to blackmail, but I will let the rest of the reviews speak for themselves.

The way I designed Casa Cerro is to feel spacious while also having an intimate feeling with the home by providing warmth through the colors and design elements. As you see, the art and finishes really complement each other. The guest bedrooms were just redone. And I'm really happy with how they turned out. I'm also very much into technology, so having an iPad and Alexa capabilities throughout the house for automation and voice commands that you can use to enhance your experience at Casa Cerro to your liking. There are also several outdoor sitting areas as well which I love. So no matter what you feel, there is a unique way to experience Casa Cerro to your liking. What I love to do at times is play some relaxing music throughout the villa, not just inside but outside and sit out at night looking up at the stars in the backyard. It is truly serene.
