Welcome to The Cowichan Lakehouse—a spacious lakefront escape designed for connection & comfort. This home features 2 kitchens and 3 living areas, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. Enjoy lake views from the balcony, dine al fresco with the outdoor kitchen setup (w/ a pizza oven!), unwind in the saltwater hot tub, and stroll down to the beach. Minutes from a boat rental shop, trails, wineries and more, this is perfect for families and groups looking to stay together—with space to breathe.

*IMPORTANT NOTE*
Please note that we are a part of a tight-knit community, with excellent neighbours that we adore. With that, we want to ensure you are aware that we have a zero-tolerance policy for parties at this location. Any signs or calls that there is a party on-site will result in immediate eviction and cancellation of the stay, without a refund.

Please note that we provide a starter supply of consumables (toilet paper, paper towel, coffee etc.) but do not provide refills during the stay.


CHECK-IN/CHECKOUT
After booking, you will receive access to your personalized guest portal, with information on the property and its amenities. 3 days prior to check-in, you will receive detailed check-in instructions and directions to the property.

We have set up a seamless entry for our guests. There will be no reason to slow you down upon your arrival. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there`s something you need during your stay with us.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
* You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
* You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.
* You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.


HOUSE RULES:
1. Please respect the neighbours and the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is a noise monitor in the unit that will test decibels throughout the day.

2. No parties or events are permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit cannot exceed 12 people.

3. There is no smoking permitted on the property, including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.

4. Although a maximum of two (x2) pets are permitted on the property, we ask that you please keep them off the linens and furniture. Any excessive dog hair or damage will be charged to the guest`s name on the reservation.

5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.

6. Hot tub use should be restricted to 30 minutes and avoided by anyone who may be pregnant. After each use, it is the guest’s responsibility to add 1 cap of boost granules (chlorine granules) into the middle of the hot tub while the jets are turned on for 20 minutes. Please leave the lid open for 45 minutes and remember to close the lid to avoid turning it into a cold plunge! We find that this is best done at the end of the evening as the hot tub should not be used for 3 hours following the chlorine cycle. If you remove the chlorine floater during your use it is the guest’s responsibility to make sure it is placed back in the hot tub after each use. We ask that if you are enjoying a beverage in the tub you only use plastic cups. If the hot tub water is not properly maintained and requires more than 1 site visit for maintenance and/or a full drain and refill, there will be an additional charge of $400.00.
