Winter Driving: Please make sure you are prepared for the winter weather, including carrying snow chains from November 1 to April 30. Do a dry run if they are new to you.

Electric Shut-offs: To prevent wildfires, Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) may be incurred as dictated by specific weather conditions (e.g. high winds, Santa Ana winds off the hill), as mandated by state laws. Current information may be found on the Bear Valley Electric Service, Inc. (BVES) website, the local utility company.
