"Tante Trost" is fully equipped for 2 people and is located at the outer dock of the "Boat and Living GmbH" yacht yard, with an unobstructed view of the harbor entrance to Heiligenhafen and the Graswarder Nature Reserve.

"Tante Trost" offers approximately 30 m² of living space for 2 guests, 1 bedroom with a double bed, a separate shower room with a toilet, and a large living area with a very well-equipped kitchenette (the images shown are for illustrative purposes only and do not depict the interior of "Tante Trost." “Tante Trost” will be refurbished in a cozy and modern style before being made available for vacation rentals.) The large sun deck features lounge chairs and a small table for cold drinks. Here, two people can relax in the sunshine and plan their next activities.

“Tante Trost” is moored at the outer dock of the Boat and Living shipyard harbor in Heiligenhafen Ortmühle. There is virtually no public traffic in the shipyard harbor, so the mooring is very quiet. From the houseboat, you can go for a swim using a swim ladder or try stand-up paddleboarding. You can fish from the sun deck, rent a small recreational boat at the shipyard, or simply sip a cocktail on the sun deck, enjoy your breakfast while admiring the yachts and excursion steamers coming and going, and use binoculars to watch the birdlife on the Grawarder or the migration of the gray geese flying directly over the houseboat. The beach for the “locals” is 200 m away, and the Heiligenhafen beach at the pier is a 2-km walk. There are several bike rental companies in Heiligenhafen. The surrounding area, as well as Fehmarn, is very easy to explore via a well-developed network of bike paths.

Heiligenhafen Ortmühle is a very quiet neighborhood; you’ll always find a parking spot for your car nearby. If you don’t want to use your car during your entire stay, you can also park it on our private property 500 meters away. The town of Heiligenhafen, located about 2 km away, offers a variety of restaurants at the harbor, the marina, and in the city center, providing plenty of opportunities to enjoy every kind of cuisine. Several large supermarket chains (Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Getränkemarkt Hoffmann, Famila, Fleggard Grenzhandel, Calle Grenzhandel) are within 800 m. Of course, there are also various pharmacies and doctors’ offices in the downtown area, as well as other shopping options.

There is a water park in Weißenhäuser Strand (18 km), the Heiligenhafen Cliffs Trail (4 km), an indoor playground at the “Aktivhaus” in Heiligenhafen (3 km), the Ostsee Erlebniswelt / Mega Erlebniswelten in Klausdorf (2 km), the NABU nature reserve with guided tours on Graswarder in Heiligenhafen (3 km), the NABU waterfowl reserve on Fehmarn with guided tours (15 km), the Hansapark amusement park in Neustadt/H (30 km), and mini-cruises departing from the Heiligenhafen commercial harbor (1 km).
