This charming two-bedroom home in Glen Arbor is half a block to Lake Michigan and walking distance to the shops and restaurants of downtown. Inside, relax in the comfort of the living room. Gather for a group movie night. Prepare meals together in the well-appointed kitchen. Keep warm by the fireplace on chilly nights. When you’re not at the lake, lounge on the peaceful back deck, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a good book. It also makes an idyllic setting for dinner. Grill and then dien alfresco together. However you choose to spend your time, this home is where vacation memories are made. THINGS TO KNOW Summer rentals are Sunday to Sunday. This property is managed by Vacasa Michigan LLC.

The home is well furnished and equipped. Everything in Glen Arbor is within walking distance, and a beautiful Lake Michigan beach is right at the end of the street. It’s a great choice for a Sleeping Bear Dunes trip.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Perfect location and had everything we needed. It’s a little bit dated, but it’s a vacation rental. There are a couple of “upgrades” we would recommend: A coat rack, hand towel rack by the sink in the bathroom. Overall, a nice, quiet place. Perfect for two couples.

Enjoyed our stay!

Great location! 3 minute walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Home was clean and has plenty of room for a family or a getaway for two like we did. We would definitely come back!!

This house was the perfect location for the things we wanted to do. It's close to the beach, Leland, and Traverse City. Great location for local shopping and dining. We loved the two king sized beds and sofa bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals from Costco. The home is charming. Yes, there is some peeling paint and cosmetic updates needed, but if are looking for a comfortable, central location this is it.

Mother’s Day trip

The house was perfect for our Mother’s Day trip. It was four girls and we slept comfortably. The house location was walking distance to everything we wanted to see in town! The beach was done the road as well. Will definitely stay here again!

Great Location

Awesome location to walk to everything! House was perfectly stocked even had tons of games we enjoyed. So much room!! Would definitely stay again!

We wanted an early check-in. We called several times and were told that if the property was cleaned early we would be notified. Check in was at 4:00 - we were there at 3:00. Non one was around but we couldn't enter the property because no one bothered to let us know that the it was ready.The place was very dirty. The floor hadn't been cleaned for a long time. There was dust bunnies and dirt all over the floors. I thought there was a nut shell on the floor, but it was actually an old piece of bacon from a prior visit.A lots of little things: shortage of hangers, burned out light bulbs, and 80% of the louver closets doors had hardware that was broken.There was cracked or broken dry wall in the kitchen and bathrooms. Definitely needs a serious cleaning.

Perfect location - comfortable house

We could walk to the beach, walk to groceries and restaurants, and, it was perfectly quiet and private. It wasn't clear from property description that second full bathroom adjoined the upstairs/loft bedroom but it did! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and hope to return.

Nice floor plan. But house is tired. Stained shower. Peeling exterior paint. Very old furniture. Would book again if I had to, but not with excited anticipation

Very comfortable home

Dancing Bear was a very nice place to spend the weekend. Perfect for two couples. It was very clean. We spent alot of time playing cards and games at the kitchen table. The only negative was the gas fireplace didn't work. It would have been nice to be able to use it since it was a cold and rainy weekend.
