The luxury vacation home “De Non,” newly built and completed in May 2022, offers all the comforts you could wish for on vacation.
The vacation home is optimally insulated, built sustainably without gas, and equipped with solar panels, underfloor heating, and air conditioning. It has its own—secure—Wi-Fi network, making it suitable for working from home, for example! We have fiber-optic internet.
The beautiful outdoor area offers a wonderful place to sit. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the sweeping views with coffee and cake or a delicious glass of wine.
The single-story house is situated in a beautiful and idyllic location. The interior is decorated with soft colors, beautiful materials, and great attention to detail, exuding warmth and character.
Both the living room and the bedroom offer stunning views of the surrounding nature. A sliding door provides access to the covered patio. There is a wonderful seating area with comfortable furniture and a smart TV. The open kitchen is fully and luxuriously equipped with a dishwasher, oven, toaster, etc.
The bathroom is comfortable and features a wonderful rain shower.
There is also a new sauna that you are welcome to use (the owner charges 20 euros per use; bathrobe and towels included).
Here, you can relax and enjoy the view or simply head out: the Wadden Sea coast (a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site) is nearby. The magnificent city of Leeuwarden (formerly the European Capital of Culture), the beautiful town of Franeker with its planetarium (nominated for the World Heritage List), and the lively port city of Harlingen are all close by. Or how about a day trip to the Wadden Islands?
On vacation as a group of four but still want your own space? Next to the vacation home “De Noazem” is the almost identically furnished vacation home “De Non.” Both units have their own entrance, two private terraces each (at the front and on the side), and plenty of privacy.
There’s also a covered terrace for shared use. It’s a wonderful spot for a barbecue.
Explore the area around Franeker, from the Wadden Sea to the city itself. The port city of Harlingen, the shopping town of Franeker, and the provincial capital of Leeuwarden are all definitely worth a visit.
