Captain's Cottage



The Space:

Just up from the beach, this bright and comfortable four-bedroom house is ready to provide your family and friends with the vacation memories you deserve! You'll find the spacious interior filled with lots of comfortable furniture and coastal decor that combine to bring a relaxed atmosphere to the whole living space. Stream your favorite movies and shows on the mounted flatscreen TV while you stretch out on the luxurious living room sofa. The full kitchen features stainless steel appliances that include a French-door refrigerator and dishwasher, and you'll have all the counter space and cabinet storage you need to prepare wonderful meals while you're here. Serve up to six dinner guests at the handsome dining table while the kids chatter away from the three breakfasts bar stools. Off the kitchen, you'll find an expansive deck furnished with a private gas grill for hosting those hot-weather barbecues. After a day at the beach, use the private washer and dryer to rinse all the sand out of your beach clothes then take advantage of the free WiFi to research your next outdoor adventure. When it's time to head to bed, you'll have four well-appointed bedrooms to enjoy, two on the first level and two more upstairs, each with private balcony access. The central AC and ceiling fans will keep everything nice and cool during a hot summer night. Things to Know Free WiFi There is a Pack N’ Play and a double stroller available. Please note that guests must bring their own sheets for the Pack N’ Play. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

We were a group of four adults and five children. We had plenty of space to spread out. Plenty of space together together. Upstairs bedroom balconies or a bonus. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. It was nice to be on a quiet street but right in the middle of everything within 2 minutes. Beautiful house and amazing memories made.

Highly recommend

Surprisingly large cottage that is comfy and cozy. Plenty of room to easily sleep 6 people. 2 bathrooms and only about a 6-8 minute walk from the beach. it is on a quiet street. There are a lot of extra amenities, like a waffle maker, gridle, citrus crusher. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and were very friendly!

In side was fine,yard was ok. But we were always on the go. Long drives from where we visited places. Some small repairs are needed. Coffee pot handle came apart when lifting with Coffee almost burning my son's arm. Bathrooms worked out well.

Overall great

Great new rental with upgrades. Everything was very nice. It was too far to walk to the beach with little kids, but adults could manage just fine. Would recommend some deck furniture on the back deck. It had every kitchen gadget that we could need or want. The orange crush press was a nice little perk.

House was nice, Except the fridge wasn’t keeping our food cold and the outlets in both bathrooms weren’t working! We contacted the company Thursday morning and never heard back from them. They also showed up at 9;00 to clean the place and check out wasn’t until 10:00.

The inside of the house was clean but had a strong smell of spices.maybe curry. First impression when getting to the house wasn't good. the solar post light at the steps was broken, there were toys and stuff in front by the steps filled with green water. Storm door closer was missing.First impressions are important.

Cute house. Needs better maintenance and cleaning

Overall nice location, bedrooms were clean and comfortable. More amenities then listed. Lots of extras. Blender, juicer, induction stove and oven . We had a few issues with some cleaning items. Garbage has not been taken out and smelled. Grill was horrendous and dirty. Fridge had red goo in it. Where you spray off the sand equipment was not ideal and needs a platform or a holder near the paved driveway. But very nice for our larger family with kids and grandkids. Would stay again.

Well equipped house but guests services were terrible! The 5 of us (Gparents, daughter and 2 g.kids) checked in around 9PM Saturday evening. We unpacked and tried to turn the TV. One remote turned on the TV but nothing else! The other didn't have any batteries. Sunday PM, we wanted to watch Wimbledon finals. No TV. I sent a text to VueStay. We were told to check the batteries. No one checks for working batteries? (TAKE BATTERIES!) BTW, we went earlier to buy batteries. No help! We unplugged and plugged everything several times. Nothing! I sent photos as requested ( several times!) No response after 2:30PM to my requests! I RECEIVED 5 TEXT MESSAGES AT 4:42AM regarding the TVs. Again, did we check the batteries? We were told that someone came Tues. to fix the leak under the sink & TV. (The bowl still 1/2 full of water) Disposal still leaking. No TV. The 888 # guest services-not working! We spoke with someone at a (410) # and was told she hadn't received requests for repairs. Again, I sent info by email! 30 messages of apology kept on until Tuesday afternoon. We were finally told NO CABLE TV!! We had to stream! 3 days NO TV. My husband missed the tennis finals and golf. Unbelievable!!! We striped beds before leaving and found blood on a mattress cover! There is a LARGE hole in the bath downstairs around the pipes! That should be covered!! Walk to the beach isn't 5 minutes, more like 15 min which isn't bad but could be for little people. Disgusting guestservices
