The Space:

Experience Northwoods camping in first-class comfort at this gorgeous, lakefront home in Tomahawk, offering plenty of outdoor entertainment for the whole family to enjoy! This home has a lakeside area with a boat dock, a large grassy yard with a firepit, and a spacious, furnished deck with a screened patio. Curl up with your favorite novel alongside the gas fireplace, prepare meals out on the gas grill, and round out the day with a movie or favorite series on the flatscreen TV. What's nearby: This quiet, relaxing environment offers boating and fishing activities for three seasons of the year. The town of Tomahawk is just under four miles from this rental and offers restaurants, pubs, and lakefront parks. The Tomahawk snowmobile trail system has hundreds of miles of groomed trails in northern Wisconsin and upper Michigan. Ice fish from the comfort of your accommodations while monitoring your tip-ups visible from the large rear windows overlooking the lake. Amazing!!!!

This place was everything we wanted and more. After staying here our group discussed this will be our annual travel spot. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway.

Overall good, great escape from city. House looks better on pictures but still way better then most of the other 50 year old houses available on vrbo.

Nature at its finest!

The location was absolutley beautiful! It was very private and the large waterfront yard was thorougly used and enjoyed by the whole family; age 1 to 67 and many inbetween!

Great spot for a family vacation. Everything you could need is provided. Lots of room for kids to play and fish. Great kitchen! Had a wonderful time didn't want to leave!

Great stay with extended family

Had everything we needed for a great week with extended family. Sleeping accommodations were perfect with many beds, large shared open space, large deck overlooking large yard and lake. We used the fire pit every night and a short walk to the dock. We used the kayaks and canoe provided and had luck fishing. We caught pan fish, bass and walleyes. Vacasa was very quick to respond, but they sometimes had to work with the "local" team, which sometimes took a little longer, but not terrible. We would stay again!

Great property on the lake!

Swimming frontage with great fishing off the pier for Walleye! Private setting was perfect for our family gathering Everyone had fun, lots to do close by and not far from the famous Windmill ice cream shop that is a big tourist attraction. We will be back:)

Very comfortable home with great lake access. We stayed for 8 nights while ice fishing Lake Alice and had a great time. Home was clean and comfortable with a lot of room to spread out.

Great weekend!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my father’s 85th birthday! The location was minutes from my parent’s house and was perfect for our family to eat, play games, and celebrate. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Great lake location

Overall, we had a great time at the cabin! There was ample room for our group and the living room and kitchen was a great gathering space. The check in process was very easy, but communication was difficult as all replies were from different associates and their answers did not match to clarify our questions. The cabin was in a great location and easy access for the boat! All we wished was different was communication for clarification and more of a step by step checkout list to complete.

Awesome Vacation Destination

We loved everything about this home. The large living area, the fabulous kitchen, three full bathrooms, four bedrooms with king beds, one queen and an upstairs paradise for kids. The fireplace, the large deck, the dock, the large backyard, the view, the privacy, and Tomahawk with so much to offer about ten minutes away. This is the ultimate house for large families to enjoy. Large area for everyone and plenty of room for privacy.

Wonderful Private Retreat

Amazing property for a northwoods getaway. Even though it wasn't lake time yet, the yard was large enough to enjoy some good outside time. We were a group of 12 adults and it worked well for us - anymore than that there wouldn't be enough inside dining space. I marked a "4" for cleanliness due to finding some dirty dishes and lots of cobwebs on the light fixtures and mounts on the wall.

Cabin Trip

This is a great place for a weekend getaway. The lodge is big enough to fit a large group and have enough space to do stuff. It is right next to the lake with dock which is great for swimming and fishing. The only downside about this lodge is that the wifi/internet is slow. It’ll be great if it was faster as there is not much phone service and many people will be connect to the wifi. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quick getaway with a large group of people.

A Great stay

House was as advertised Big and just a little dusty but otherwise clean. Could use a better dock situation for boats as 18 people use more than 2 boats, also the dock is very high which is trouble for fishing boats. The home could use another Fridge as again 18 people go through food and drinks. The washing machine and dryer need upgrade as well. Overall a great stay.

Fishing

Came to do our annual fishing trip with another family. Place is very nice but there is a lot of appliances out of order which is a bummer given the price. The stove top didn’t work at first and probably should be serviced.
