Perched on Hunter Hill Road, this condo sits in one of Mount Crested Butte’s most sought-after spots, close enough to the lifts for a quick walk or shuttle ride yet tucked just far enough away to feel peaceful and private. From your balcony, you’ll see the surrounding peaks glow at sunrise and fade to alpenglow at dusk.

In winter, you’re minutes from the West Wall and Peachtree lifts, plus the free town shuttle that runs regularly to the base and historic downtown Crested Butte, where colorful Victorian buildings line Elk Avenue, home to local coffee shops, ski bars, and some of the best small-town dining in Colorado.

In summer, the same slopes turn into a web of wildflower-filled hiking and mountain-biking trails. You can ride right from your door or catch the shuttle down to town for live music, art walks, and the Saturday farmer's market. The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and true to its roots, creekside adventure by day, mountain-town charm by night.

Reaching the front door comes with a little touch of mountain adventure. From the parking area, you’ll follow an outdoor stairway to the ski-locker landing, then continue up to the private entrance, a short climb that rewards you with big views and a cozy welcome.  PLEASE NOTE: There are ~60 stair steps between the parking lot to the unit and can be relatively steep.

Ski access is wonderfully flexible. You can head up the nearby steps and enjoy a scenic, ~200-yard walk to a ski-in point that leads to the West Wall or Peachtree lifts. Or, for an easy alternative, simply hop on the free shuttle just down the parking lot, which takes you directly to the base area.

Parking: Guests are provided with two parking passes for the duration of your stay.

In winter, you can walk to the lifts in just a few minutes or clip in from nearby access points when conditions allow. In summer, step outside and connect directly to some of Crested Butte’s best single-track, winding through wildflowers and open alpine terrain. The free town shuttle stops just down the road, making it easy to head into town without ever needing to think about parking.

Inside, the space is simple, comfortable, and filled with natural light. The living area is designed to be a place to land after a full day outside. Wide windows bring in mountain views, and the layout makes it easy to settle in, whether that’s stretching out on the sofa, sharing a meal, or just slowing things down for the evening.

The kitchen is fully stocked and set up for real use. Mornings start with coffee before heading out, evenings are easy whether you’re cooking in or heading into town for dinner. The dining space keeps things casual and functional, perfect for a quick reset or a longer, relaxed meal.
The bedroom offers a quiet retreat with a comfortable queen bed, while the living area provides additional sleeping with a sofa bed. It works well for couples, small families, or a few friends traveling together.

The entry area is set up with gear in mind, giving you a place to drop boots, skis, or bikes without bringing the mountain inside. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference after a long day out. Laundry facilities are located in the unit as an all in one washer/dryer or optional common area washer/dryer in the building next door for guest use.

Access to the condo includes an exterior staircase, part of the experience of being tucked slightly above the base area. Many guests choose to unload first before parking to make arrival easier.

The setting is what really makes this place. Quiet, slightly removed, and surrounded by mountains, but still close enough to everything. In winter, you are minutes from the lifts and a quick ride into town. In summer, you are right on the trail network with easy access to hiking, biking, and everything that makes Crested Butte special.

This is a place that works with how people actually spend time here. Get out early, come back mid-day, head out again, or stay in and enjoy the views.
