You’ll find a house with a view of the countryside from the breakfast nook in the living room or from the sun terrace. There’s a covered barbecue area overlooking the garden, which features a small goldfish pond. You’ll be surrounded by nature.
The first floor of the 135-square-meter vacation home—which includes a kitchen, bathroom, and living room with a fireplace—has two beds and is fully accessible without steps. The upper floor features 2 bedrooms, each with 3 beds, as well as a restroom. Two cribs can also be set up.
You’ll be staying near Güstrow, known as “Barlach City,” home to the MV Wildlife Park and the Oase water park, as well as the beaches on Inselsee in the summer. Güstrow Castle is one of the most significant Renaissance castles in Northern Europe. The parish church, the cathedral, the Gertruden Chapel, and the former studio of sculptor, writer, and draftsman Ernst Barlach are also worthwhile destinations. You can relax with walks in the woods or by swimming or fishing in the surrounding lakes. It’s a 45-minute drive to the Baltic Sea or 90 minutes to the island of Rügen. The state capital, Schwerin, and the cultural heritage and Hanseatic city of Wismar are 45 minutes away, and Rostock—the state’s largest city and a Hanseatic city—is 30 minutes away.
