Welcome to Collier Cove
There's a particular kind of trip Saint Augustine is built for — the one where the kids run themselves tired by lunch, the adults find a quiet moment with coffee on the patio, and dinner stretches long because nobody wants to leave the table. Collier Cove is the home we built for those trips.
Our 3-bedroom, 2-bath coastal retreat sits in a quiet residential pocket of Saint Augustine, just minutes from everything that makes this town one of Florida's best — the Old City's cobblestone streets and centuries-old fort, the Atlantic beaches, the seafood spots, the ghost tours, the lighthouses. You're 8 minutes from downtown, 15 from the beach, and a 5-minute walk from the Solomon Calhoun Community Center, where the kids can swim or run off energy on the sports fields before you head out for the day.
Where everyone has their place
The home sleeps 8 across three bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The primary suite has a king bed for the parents or the couple booking the trip. The two secondary bedrooms each have a queen — perfect for kids who want their own space, grandparents joining for a multigenerational trip, or two couples splitting the cottage. Two full baths keep the morning routine from becoming a traffic jam.
The kitchen is fully equipped — every pot, pan, knife, and dish you'd want. There's a K-cup machine for the quick coffee drinker and a drip coffee maker for the slow Sunday morning. Washer and dryer in the home so you don't bring sand and salt water back into the car at the end of the trip.
The game room is what your kids will remember
Off the main living space is a game room with a ping pong table and a stand-up arcade — the kind of room that earns you the "best vacation ever" review without doing much else. We've stocked it with games for adults too, because rainy afternoons are real, and so are competitive parents.
Outside is where the trip slows down
The back patio is the heart of Collier Cove. There's an outdoor dining set under string lights, a BBQ for grilling whatever you picked up at the Publix down the road, a cornhole setup for the cousins, and a fire pit for the part of the night when the kids are tucked in and the adults are still talking. It's the kind of backyard that makes you stay an extra night.
Out front, a small paver patio with four chairs is the unofficial morning coffee spot — quiet street, warm light, slow start.
Saint Augustine, two ways
What makes this property work is the dual draw. Some mornings you'll want history — drive 8-10 minutes into the Old City, walk St. George Street, tour the Castillo de San Marcos, grab lunch at The Ice Plant or The Floridian. Other mornings you'll want the beach — 15 minutes to the sand at Anastasia State Park or St. Augustine Beach, towels in the trunk, no agenda. The whole point of staying here is that you don't have to choose. You can do both in the same day, and most of our guests do.
Dinner reservations at Collage or Catch 27 in the Old City. Sunset at the lighthouse. Ghost tour at 9. Back to the fire pit by 10. That's a Collier Cove day.
Built for families, open to everyone
We designed this home with families in mind — the pack-n-play, the toys, the kid-friendly setup, the safe quiet street, the walkable community center. But it works just as well for friend groups splitting a weekend, two couples on a getaway, or a multigenerational trip with grandparents in tow. Sleeps 8, parks 2 in the driveway, and there's room for everyone to find their spot.
A note from the host
Collier Cove is owner-operated, which means when you message us, you're talking to the people who actually own and care about this home — not a property manager or a call center. We respond fast, we keep the home stocked and clean, and we want you to have the kind of trip you talk about for years.
Saint Augustine has been welcoming travelers for over 450 years. Come see why.
