Our vacation apartment C26 "Nils Holgerson" is a 58 sqm three-room apartment in the attic of our vacation house with a total of four vacation apartments. The apartment is furnished in Scandinavian style. It is bright and cozy and can accommodate up to six people. The living room has a comfortable sofa with an armchair and a side table. In the living room you can also find a dining table with six chairs, a chest of drawers, a TV, radio and a few nice lamps for indirect, cozy lighting. The large window front with door, which opens the view into the garden of the vacation home, Rügen's nature and the way to your own balcony, lets a lot of light into the living room. From the living room, a small hallway leads to the two bedrooms and the bathroom. The first of the two bedrooms has a large window front with door, which floods the room with light and opens the way to the second balcony of the apartment. The bedroom is equipped with a 180 cm wide double bed (2 mattresses 90 cm wide each) including inlets. In addition to the bed, the room has a large closet and a chest of drawers with a mirror that provide plenty of storage space. The second bedroom is equipped with a 90 cm wide bunk bed (2 mattresses) including inlets and a small wardrobe. If the apartment is occupied by more than four people, the sofa in the living room can be extended to a sleeping place for two more people (1 mattress, inlets available). In addition, all windows of the living room and bedrooms are equipped with shutters that darken and insulate. The large light-filled country-style kitchen is equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster, in addition to an oven, hob and fridge. The large and bright bathroom has a shower and holds enough storage space. In the basement of the apartment there is a barbecue, an umbrella, a baby travel cot, a high chair, sand toys and a stroller.

A highlight of our vacation apartment "Nils Holgerson" are the two private balconies. One balcony is equipped with a table and two chairs. From the balconies the view opens into the garden of the vacation home. Behind them are horse paddocks, forests and a hilly landscape behind which the golden reeds and the sea can already be guessed. In the evening the wind rustles through the leaves of the many trees, bushes and shrubs that surround the cottage. The balconies are partially embedded in the roof truss of the cottage, which provides a pleasant weather and privacy protection. The garden has a swing and can be shared by the guests of our vacation home. In addition, the vacation home has its own parking space.

Our vacation apartment "Nils Holgerson" C26 is located in Gustow in the southeast of the island of Rügen. The Hanseatic city of Stralsund can be reached by car in about 10 minutes and offers numerous and varied shopping opportunities, a wide selection of restaurants and cafes, a cinema, and several museums, including the Oceanographic Museum Ozeaneum. A natural beach, surrounded by reed beds, is a 20-minute walk away. A bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, drugstore, and a bank can be found either in Stralsund or in Garz, which is a 15-minute drive from Gustow and is the oldest village on the island. In the natural harbor of Gustow, which is about 20-minute walk from the apartments, there is a small bistro with a sun terrace and the possibility to rent a small motorboat for a fishing trip or a trip on the water. Also, about 20 minutes walk from our apartments is the hotel and manor house Kajahn. The Kajahn family has been managing the farm and the surrounding land for many years and offers its guests, besides game specialties, cakes, and ice cream, many animals but especially horses, and the possibility of a trial riding lesson or a ride. In Gustow's neighboring village Poseritz there is a dairy where you can stock up on fresh and homemade dairy products, eggs, and jams and also stop for coffee and cake. The beach resorts Sellin, Baabe, Binz, Prora, and Sassnitz and the Jasmund National Park with the Königsstuhl can be reached in 30 to 40 minutes by car.
