This is a beautiful location and offers great guest experiences with potential to be excellent .A few areas would benefit from attention, particularly the windows and seals, shades, and outdoor decks. Addressing these maintenance details would improve comfort and use, especially the patio furniture and sweeping the decks!With some TLC this VRBO could be elevated to match the setting and beautiful home.

The best place I’ve ever stayed! Just gorgeous- there is no other word. Fully stocked. Comfortable beds. Close to town. Great for a large group. Everything was perfect! Will stay again!

Beautiful spacious home. Just less than 20 minutes to town. Only problem we had was management company is very slow to respond on the few issues we had questions on.

The lodge was very spacious and inviting. There is a massive view of the mountains and river right outside the back windows. The kitchen was expansive and had 2 tables in close proximity with an open format. We could cook and entertain our kids at the same time. We had 4 adults and 6 kids. There was ample room for all. The drive to Wolf Creek was scenic and quick. And town was only a few minutes away. We would love to come back!

Great cabin and location

Group of friends rode motorcycles in the mountains for a few days, the cabin was a great place to enjoy the beauty of the San Juan mountains and relax. Great place, we will be back next year.

Loved the large cabin with space!

Large cabin with very well Stocked kitchen if you wamted to cook! Loved playing corn hole when we didn’t get out. Great garages for our cars too! Loved this place!

Gorgeous Riverfront Chalet!

Exceptionally clean upon check in, perfect base camp for Wolf Creek! Amazing river views with unique furnishings, and the management was very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was only me and my husband this time, but could easily have enough room for two families, we will be back!

Great Large Home

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home was very spacious, in a quiet neighborhood with a great view of the river. Management was very helpful and responsive regarding any questions. Would love to stay there again the next time we go to Pagosa Springs

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful cabin on the river! Was clean and had everything we needed. Very spacious. Husband and I just used the main floor but would be great for a family! Nicest place we've stayed on our many trips to Pagosa!

large home in san juan river village

This large home was perfect for our 2 large families. It was fully stocked with excellent amenities. However, this home needs more TLC particularly in the kitchen and replacement of lower level master bedroom king mattress.

Big House

This is a great house for a lot of people. Plenty of rooms and space to stretch out. Also got a good laugh from the temp shower curtain in the master shower that was being worked on.

Boarding trip

Only complaint is it is advertised as 3.5 bath which it technically is however one of the showers is not operational and looks to have not been working for sometime. It would have been nice to know this when booking or at least a heads up before arrival. Someone knew because there was a do not use sign on the shower.

The good & bad -

Pros: parking (we came with 3 trucks & trailers & had no issues), neighborhood is super chill & the kiddos loved the fishing pond, close to town, house was big & well laid out! Cons: the house is on a cliff & that is nowhere in the description. The cliff doesn't have rails & that made this mom super nervous so outside wasn't somewhere we could even enjoy. While the furniture is super unique & looks great, it's bulky & 3 broken toes in 1 week is a lot to deal with. The outside grill was not functioning. There were plugs hanging by wires. The kitchen was pretty well stocked but could use some pot holders & knives.

Thank you for sharing your experience, we’re so pleased you enjoyed the spaciousness of our home and its nice neighborhood! It’s great to know your family especially enjoyed the fishing pond. That said, we’re sorry that the home’s mountain location did not match your expectations and are sorry that being on a cliff kept you from enjoying outside with your children. As our home is large, it is best suited with large furniture and we are sorry for any challenge this presented. Additionally, we apologize for the grill not working and any kitchen items missing. Our local manager assured us they will address these items and we thank you for bringing them to our attention. We enjoyed having you as our guest and hope to host you again.

Terrible! On the first day some young girl with others came on the property to look for a phone that she said she lost and that her boyfriend said that his GPS indicated the property as the location. She said this to me while opening the front door without knocking and taking a look around. After this a family member indicated to me that they were taking pictures of the vehicles, most likely the license plate numbers. I assumed at this point they could have been the property owners. Who else would do such a thing. If they had any concerns they could have introduced themselves and express their concerns. The next thing I find out is that the location or community has very strict covenants. One of our family members took a ride around the neighborhood and the next thing I have to deal with is an irate association president that laid down the law if you
