Come get your Altitude Adjustment and stay in this cozy mountain cabin with a rustic feel. Located 6 miles NE of Pagosa Springs, Colorado in the San Juan River Resort, the property's proximity to Wolf Creek ski area and other outdoor destinations east of town is convenient. Nestled in the tress and bordered by San Juan National Forest offers solitude and wonderful views. Guests enjoy the spaciousness of the cabin with 3 floors to accommodate larger groups.

After your outdoor adventures, there is plenty of room to spread out with 2300 sqft of living space. Play a board game or sharpen your ping pong and foosball skills. Sit on the large deck and enjoy the view or read a book. The options are many. Property is managed by the owner which provides a more personal touch and better guest experience. Direct TV and internet included. Washer and dryer included. We are pet friendly. If you have more than 1 pet, prior approval is required and additional fees may apply. VR-001690.

Everything was absolutely perfect for our Christmas vacation. Shawn is very friendly and he and his wife have very clearly thought through the visitor experience to ensure everything runs smoothly. All of the beds even had Christmas sheets and heating blankets, which was a wonderful touch!

Altitude Adjustment was the perfect cabin for our mountain getaway! It is nestled in a quiet community just outside Pagosa Springs with stunning views! The host, Shawn, was responsive to messages and was very accommodating and helpful! He has provided a wonderful “home away from home” feel with all of the essentials, games, movies, etc. The property is also very clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin and will absolutely book again!

Great Family Time

This is the first time our whole family was able to share one lodging for our semi-annual family gathering. Usually we need multiiple condos or hotel rooms. Pagosa Springs is a wonderful place to visit in the summer. We had a fantastic time.

Everything was great!

Our stay was so cozy and overall great! It was in such a perfect location too! We were two families that stayed and between us couples and our kids, the set up was perfect. Also, our host Shawn I felt went above and beyond, really made us feel welcomed, and answered all our questions.

Ski Trip

We had a wonderful time Skiing wolf Creek and our accommodations were just as awesome. Shawn was a joy to work with and his home was excellent as well. We had a short 20 minute drive to the slopes and a 10 minute drive to town, what more you ask for ...a beautiful view of the mountains? well you just d to walk out on the front deck and you have that too!! When we head back to Wolf Creek we will be staying at Shawns Place!!

Cabin was perfect for our group

Shawn was great to work with. Only suggestion would be a key lock box for arrivals. We were driving in from Arizona and timing arrival with a stop in Durango was a little challenging. I'd definitely stay here again.

Dirty & Frumpy - Needs work

The owner was nice and we liked that Pet Friendly feature, however in our opinion this property was dirty and needs much work. Partial list of problems: (complete list, details and photos available) There were cob webs & spider nests in the ceilings & found spiders in the loft, and dead bugs on main floor. Bathroom back of sink, toilet, floor and shower curtain dirty Kitchen oven, floor & range hood were dirty. Most all windows dirty. Deck railing very loose and nails sticking up out of the deck boards. We believe that this could be a nice vacation rental with thorough cleaning and other work and replacements.

We respectfully disagree with the harshness of this review. It is acknowledged that the property is not perfect and we have priced it accordingly (in the lower quartile for similar properties). We make it a point to personally greet our guests and encourage an open dialogue if there are issues. We do this to ensure each guest's stay is as positive as it can be. Unfortunately, there was no communication regarding these issues during the stay and this review was very surprising. We've had multiple guests and never received complaints like this and never had a review below 4 stars. We are always looking to improve and will take on this feedback accordingly. However, given the entirety of location, affordability, size, and flexibility, the overall rating is not warranted.

WOW...... Great place....Great host

We Loved our stay here!!! This cabin is soooooo great!!! So Restful and Wonderful Views!!! Sweet Serenity!!! The cabin backs up to the national forest and is situated far enough above and away from any busy road that you truly can enjoy the front porch and the views and rightfully deserves its name "Altitude Adjustment". Shawn's cabin has everything on the inside you could want and need!!! Can't say enough good things about the host Shawn!!! He was so easy to stay in communication with and actually met us as we arrived and made sure everything was as we needed. There was only 3 of us ....lol...so it was a little like Goldilocks when we were choosing our favorite place to sleep, but seriously The Cabin has great living spaces inside and out and enough sleeping room for a large family gathering or group of friends. Additionally, Pagosa Springs and the surrounding mountains hold endless outdoor experiences both summer and winter. It has been our favorite Colorado experience for many decades for hiking, skiing, backpacking, or just vacationing and now we have found Shawn's 'Altitude Adjustment' aka: Sweet Serenity...We will Be Back!!! Thank you Shawn. We look forward to returning again with the entire family!!!

I'm semi-retired and live in Pagosa Springs year round. I love mountain life and all things outdoors. I also enjoy meeting our guests and providing them with information to make their stay as easy and memorable as possible. As a private host, I provide dedicated service to our guests.

Our cabin is located in San Juan River Village which is only 20 minutes to Wolf Creek and 10 minutes to town. The cabin is on the north side of the highway with fantastic views of the southern mountains around Pagosa Springs.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our cabin is a good size for a large family or multiple families. There is room to spread out on 3 floors with a bedroom on each. We have games available, including ping pong and fooseball which give our guests options when they are not exploring the area. Lastly, we are priced very competitively considering the size of the cabin.
