Welcome to your family’s new favorite tradition. Our expansive 2,600 sq ft lake house is designed specifically for those unforgettable multi-generational getaways where everyone has space to gather, yet plenty of room to slip away for a quiet moment.

Your vacation begins the moment you step into the beautiful four-season sunroom. With its cool slate floors, it’s the perfect place to kick off your flip-flops, drop your beach bags, and immediately leave the real world behind.

The heart of the home is the open-concept main floor, where the kitchen, dining, and living areas flow together seamlessly, all framed by floor to ceiling views of China Lake. Whether you’re prepping a big family breakfast at the island, gathering around the dining table for a lively board game, or relaxing on the couch, the water is always your backdrop.

Spread out across three distinct levels of living space, the house naturally creates spaces for both connection and quiet relaxation. You can easily sneak away to a cozy corner with a good book while the rest of the family gathers downstairs for movie night. Your ultimate, peaceful Maine getaway awaits!

Bedrooms & Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 8):
Rest easy after a day of lake adventures. All bedrooms are designed for comfort and flexibility:
Bedroom 1 (Upper Level Primary Suite): A true sanctuary featuring a king bed, private full bathroom, and a private balcony directly overlooking the lake for your morning coffee.
Bedroom 2 (Upper Level): Cozy queen bed with beautiful natural light.
Bedroom 3 (Upper Level): Features a full-sized bed.
Bedroom 4 / Basement (Lower Level): A flexible space with a comfortable pullout sofa bed (pulls out into a full)

(Note: A shared full bath serves the other upper bedrooms, and a convenient half-bath is located on the main floor.)

Kitchen & Dining: Well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious family meals while never losing sight of the lake.
Features: A large peninsular for gathering, refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range, and microwave.
Complimentary: We provide coffee, tea, olive oil, and a selection of spices to get your stay started.

Lower Level "fun zone" & home comforts: The finished walk-out basement is the ultimate hangout space, designed for both relaxation and staying active.
Entertainment: A spacious secondary living area with a large TV setup, perfect for movie nights as well as additional sleeping space with a pull out sofa bed (size full)


Comfort: Features efficient heat pumps for cooling during warm summer days.
Essentials: High-speed Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, and an onsite washer/dryer with complimentary detergent. Fresh linens, bath towels, makeup washcloths, and separate lake towels are all provided.

Outdoor Living & Waterfront: Step outside to enjoy 0.95 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds leading down to your 150 feet of private waterfront. Located at the very end of a dead-end road, you’ll enjoy total peace, quiet, and privacy. (Please note, the lake access is down a hill with a dirt path)

Oversized Main Deck: Located off the main living area, perfect for al fresco dining and hosting family BBQs on the propane gas grill.

Sunroom: Offering a perfect, bug-free spot to watch the sunset over the water.

Water Access: Direct, private access right out your back door. Public boat launch 2 miles away. Sip your morning coffee by the water's edge, cast a line, or launch a kayak into a quiet, private cove.

Location & Nearby Attractions: While you’ll feel worlds away at the end of the road, you are centrally located for easy access to central Maine and the coast.

Local Conveniences: Just minutes to the local Hannaford Supermarket for groceries and supplies.
Augusta (State Capital): A quick 15-minute drive.
Waterville (Colby College): A 20-minute drive.
Midcoast Maine / Belfast / Camden: Roughly 45 minutes to the coast.
Portland: A scenic 60-minute drive to the vibrant Old Port district.

- Community: Share your memories with us! at Cottages of Maine.

- Parking: Ample parking available, including plenty of space in the driveway for multiple vehicles or a boat trailer.

- Firewood Not Provided: Guests will need to bring or purchase firewood locally for the Solo Stove. We recommend sourcing from trusted local roadside providers nearby.

- Safety: Your safety is our priority. The property is equipped with smoke detectors, a carbon monoxide detector, fire blanket, and fire extinguishers.
Water Safety: Maine requires that every person on board a watercraft has a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket that is properly fitted and in good condition. While the law requires children under 10 to wear them at all times, we strongly encourage everyone to wear their life jacket whenever they are on the lake. Maine’s waters can be deceptively cold. Let’s keep your lake memories safe ones!


Kayaks: We have two kayak and assorted life jackets for use. A release form is required for use of kayaks.

Dog Policy: We love hosting your furry family members! A one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $150 is required. This fee covers all dogs for the duration of your stay. A release form is also required to bring your dogs. We will send a release form to be signed prior to your stay.

- Inclement Weather: We are in a beautiful, natural lakeside setting. Power outages can occur during storms. In winter, the driveway is professionally plowed, and shovels are provided for your convenience.

We cannot predict or control weather, so we don't offer refunds due to inclement weather. Please keep this in mind when booking, and if this is a concern we recommend purchasing travel insurance.

- Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is a low-cost way to help protect you from any trip losses should you need to change your plans (family emergency, illness, weather, etc.). Without it, you risk losing all rental fees if you cancel outside of your reservation’s cancellation period and policy.

- Early Check-In: Please reach out if you are looking for an early check-in or check-out. It is a $50 additional charge. Please note, we are unable to accommodate early check-in during the peak summer months.
