KC Bailey Mountain House is a modern mountain retreat located at 8,900 featuring a private hot tub, bonus loft space and an inviting outdoor fire pit oasis. Nestled in Bailey, Colorado, it’s the perfect setting for family vacations, girls’ or guys’ weekends, and romantic couple getaways. Enjoy a peaceful mountain retreat surrounded by Colorado adventure—with hiking, whitewater rafting, skiing, and countless mountain experiences nearby. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is just a scenic 45-minute mountain drive from the cabin, with Denver about an hour away for a day in the city.

Guests love the mountain setting, cooler temperatures, forest surroundings, and escape from city life. As with most mountain homes in the area, the house relies on fresh mountain air and does not have air conditioning, and a personal vehicle is required for all transportation.

The Property
Inside and out, the home is thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and gathering. A cozy living room opens to views of the deck and mountains, while the spacious loft offers flexible sleeping arrangements and the perfect setup for movie nights. Step outside to an inviting deck with multiple seating areas, a pristine hot tub, and a dreamy fire pit framed by warm string lights—ideal for unforgettable evenings under the sky.

• All brand new Novaform ComfortGrande Advanced Gel Memory Foam Mattresses with plush bedding.

• Two twin beds, and a comfy couch that extends for extra sleeping space or for lounging during movie time.

• Two full bathrooms, upstairs bathroom features a tub/shower combination ideal for children.
• Complimentary body wash, shampoo, conditioner and makeup removing wipes are provided.

• Fully stocked kitchen featuring non-toxic ceramic cookware, ceramic bakeware, and a ceramic air fryer for healthy, easy cooking.

Mountain Weather and Living
• Enjoy cooler mountain temperatures, typically about 15-20°F cooler than Denver and surrounding city areas.
• Nestled at 8,900 feet, an ideal retreat for escaping the summer heat and enjoying fresh mountain air and scenic views.
•Like most homes in the area, the cabin relies on the naturally cool mountain climate—no AC.
• Open the windows in the evening and enjoy crisp mountain air and cool overnight temperatures that make Bailey a natural escape from summer heat.
• A personal vehicle is needed, ride-share services and food delivery are not available.
• AWD or 4WD is recommended during the winter season (October–April)
• Access roads are well-maintained and generally easy to navigate compared to many mountain destinations.
• As a true mountain retreat, wildlife sightings are part of the experience—please admire from a safe distance.
• Mountain weather changes rapidly, we recommend packing layers and checking the forecast before your adventures.
• While uncommon, power outages may occur due to weather conditions.

House Rules
• Open flames are strictly prohibited due to the area's elevated wildfire risk.
• The outdoor gas fire pit may be used when local fire restrictions or bans allow.
• Due to high wildfire risk in our area and for guest safety, the indoor wood-burning stove is NOT AVAILABLE for guest use.
• Parties are NOT PERMITTED.
• Daytime visitors are not permitted without prior approval from the host.
• Maximum occupancy is limited to 4 guest, in accordance with county regulations.
• No pets allowed.
• No smoking or Vaping on the property.
• Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am

Weather Cancellations
• Please note that weather-related cancellations are subject to the standard cancellation policy.
• Travel insurance is encouraged to help protect your trip investment.

Primary guest must be 25 years of age or older to book. We ask the primary guest to provide a government-issued ID through our secure Guest Check-In Form prior to arrival.
