STR-022 Only a short distance to the Arkansas River and downtown, our home is located in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of Buena Vista. With a view of the Collegiate Peaks, it has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large fenced yard. Please see our COVID-19 update below.

Away from the downtown noise and traffic, our newly constructed 1,600 sq. ft. home (nicknamed `BaseCamp`) features a fully equipped large kitchen, dining room, living room, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a mudroom. It has high speed internet, a smart TV with a Roku device, and a DVD player for your convenience. The master bedroom has a king bed with an attached master bathroom. The other two bedrooms include a king and queen bed and closets. There is a queen size air mattress that is available upon request. The house has ample on and off-street parking. The large fenced in backyard offers plenty of room for games, fun, and privacy.

You will have access to every room in the house and the private yard. The garage will be locked and unavailable.

You are renting the whole house and will have complete privacy. Our local manager is available at all times. If you need anything, do not hesitate to contact us.

Whether you visit the local hot springs, shop, golf, bike, hike, ATV, Jeep, raft, or enjoy a good cup of coffee- there’s plenty to do in this unique, small mountain town! Located 120 miles southwest of Denver and 90 west of Colorado Springs, it’s the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Buena Vista has more than 300 days of sunshine a year- so you’ll find the weather quite pleasant. This home is also located in one of the best places to watch the fourth of July fireworks! Whether you`re adventuring around town, floating the river or climbing the surrounding 14,ooo ft peaks, our home will make for the perfect basecamp!

Parking is easy in our large driveway. You are also allowed to park on the street and getting to town is an easy 2-minute drive. If you are a big group, please be mindful when you park on the street of our neighbors!

We have a completely contact-free check-in. It`s safe, easy, and quick.

We also have a Ring doorbell with video of our front porch. This helps us to ensure maximum safety of our property-when you are here and when you are not.

Please note we do not have A/C and it`s not super common in our area just because of the high elevation/cooler temps at night. Opening windows, using the ceiling fans (provided in each room), and letting cooler air circulate in then closing windows and shades during the day keeps the house cool.

Check in time is 4 pm. Check out time is 10 am.
Garage is off-limits.
No smoking or drugs on premises, failure to comply will result in a fee. Please treat our house with respect so we can continue to share it with others.
